Rockcastle County coach Chrysti Noble started the following lineup: 5-10 Jr. Taylor King, 5-8 So. Tessa Begley, 5-10 Jr. Macy Spivet, 5-6 Sr. Markley Richards, and 5-7 Jr. Ella McKinney. Madison Central coach Scott True countered with 5-7 Sr. Brooke Campbell, 5-6 Jr. Jordynn Miles, 5-9 Sr. Cameryn Ridderikhoff, 5-7 Sr. Brittany Campbell, and 5-6 Sr. Nataya Strader.

Madison Central raced out to a 19-7 first quarter lead on their way to a 54-35 victory over Rockcastle County. Madison Central shot 38% from the field including five of 18 from the three point line. The Indians connected on 11 of 19 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 28 points off 18 Rockcastle County turnovers. Rockcastle County shot 28.6% from the field including two of seven from bayond the arc. The Rockets connected on nine of 12 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored four points off 10 Madison Central turnovers.

Nataya Strader led Madison Central with 32 points including nine of 11 free throws, 10 rebounds, and five steals. Brittany Campbell added 11 points, three rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Cameryn Ridderikhoff recorded nine points on three three point baskets, and six rebounds.

Taylor King led Rockcastle County with 18 points including two three point baskets, four of four free throws, four rebounds, and two blocked shots. Macy Spivey added nine points and five rebounds. Tessa Begley recorded six points, eight rebounds, and two assists.
