Dixie Heights coach Joel Steczynski started the following lineup: 5-9 Jr. Coralee Pelfrey, Sr. Jordan Puitz, 5-11 Sr. Bella Crawford, 5-4 So. Asia Carner, and 5-6 Sr. Catherine Buddenberg. Ryle coach Katie Haitz countered with 5-10 Jr. Jaelyn Jones, 5-9 Jr. Ava Warner, 6-6 8th Grade Jayden McClain, 5-7 8th Grade Laynee Hampton, and 5-7 Jr. Piper Aschermann.

Dixie Heights outscored Ryle 23-11 in the final quarter to pull away for a 68-52 victory and the tournament championship. Ryle led 31-27 at halftime bur Dixie Heights rallied in the third quarter and took a 45-41 lead into the final quarter. There were four lead changes and two ties in this game. Dixie Heights shot 44.7% from the field including 10 of 22 from the three point line. The Lady Colonels connected on 16 of 21 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 11 Ryle turnovers. Ryle shot 40% from the field including five of 21 from beyond the arc. The Lady Raiders connected on 11 of 15 free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 12 Dixie Heights turnovers.

Coralee Pelfrey led Dixie Heights with 20 points including two three point baskets, eight of 10 free throws, eight rebounds, and three assists. Bella Crawford added 19 points including three three point baskets and six rebounds. Catherine Buddenberg recorded 12 points including two three point baskets, six rebounds, five assists, and three steals. Jordan Puitz chipped in with 12 points including two three point baskets, four of five free throws and five rebounds.

Jaelyn Jones led Ryle with 27 points including eight of eight free throws, eight rebounds, five assists, and three steals. Laynee Hampton added 19 points including three three point baskets, two rebounds, and two steals.
