Pleasure Ridge Park led 6-0 after the first quarter but Trinity exploded over the last three quarters to take a 55-6 decision.  Trinity recorded 20 first downs and 548 yards of total offense.  The Shamrocks were penalized eight times for 149 yards and lost a fumble.  Pleasure Ridge Park recorded 13 first downs and 234 yards of total offense.  They were penalized eight times for 77 yards and had three passes intercepted.

D. Bishop led Trinity’s ground game with 215 yards and three touchdowns on 15 carries.  D. Dawkins carried the ball eight times for 115 yards and two touchdowns.  T. Wright completed 10 of 19 passes for 213 yards and three touchdowns.  James Quick caught three passes for 130 yards and two touchdowns.  T. Sugg led the defense with six solo and two assisted tackles.  Sugg also intercepted two passes with return yardage on the picks of 117 yards.  J. Jordan added four solo and two assisted tackles.

M. Brown led Pleasure Ridge Park’s ground game with 28 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries.  S. Sumpter completed 13 of 37 passes for 177 yards with three interceptions.  D. Cummings caught four passes for 84 yards.  T. Profitt added four receptions for 43 yards.  T. Steiger, M. Bowling, and W. Cabbill led the defense with three solo tackles each.

Scott County’s defense intercepted five passes and recovered two fumbles and exploded for 34 points in the second quarter in a 41-0 victory over Nelson County.  Scott County recorded 18 first downs and 413 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized eight times for 73 yards and lost one fumble.  Nelson County recorded 11 first downs and 133 yards of total offense.  They were penalized twice for 10 yards, lost two fumbles, and had five passes intercepted.

Marcus Hill led the Scott County ground game with 69 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries.  Josh Walls added 46 yards on six carries.  Ben Lawler completed six of nine passes for 117 yards and two touchdowns.  James Happy caught four passes for 94 yards and a touchdown.  Jay Willmott kicked off seven times with six touchbacks.  Marcus Hill led the defense with four solo tackles.  Jordan Sinclair added two solo and three assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totalling 10 yards and recovered a fumble.  Cody Campbell intercepted two passes.

Blake Martin led Nelson County’s ground game with 39 yards on seven carries.  Dylan Beasley completed 11 of 32 passes for 95 yards with five interceptions.  Trey White caught 10 passes for 92 yards.  Daniel Mudd led the defense with nine solo and four assisted tackles.  Blake Martin added five solo and three assisted tackles and recovered a fumble.

Ryle raced out to a 40-0 halftime lead in a 54-13 victory over Madison Central.  Ryle recorded 15 first downs and 352 yards of total offense.  They were penalized five times for 30 yards and lost two fumbles.  Madison Central recorded 11 first downs and 158 yards of total offense.  The Indians were penalized five times for 35 yards, lost one fumble, and had one pass intercepted.

Travis Elliott led Ryle’s ground attack with 130 yards and three touchdowns on seven carries.  Deion Mullens carried the ball five times for 72 yards and a touchdown.  Conner Hempel completed five of 10 passes for 90 yards and two touchdowns.  Ryan Smith caught two passes for 43 yards and a touchdown.  Kohry Thibodeau added two receptions for 27 yards and a touchdown.  Jake Nutter led the defense with three solo and seven assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totalling 10 yards.  Court Mace added two solo and seven assisted tackles with two of his losses resulting in losses totalling 10 yards.

Jamez Chenault led Madison Central’s ground game with 112 yards and two touchdowns on 26 carries.  Nick Ford completed four of 10 passes for 38 yards with one interception.  Dre Goggins caught two passes for 21 yards.  Austin Coyle led the defense with two solo and four assisted tackles.  Matt Withers added five assisted tackles.

Simon Kenton scored an insurance touchdown on a 20 yard fumble recovery return in the fourth quarter to defeat Tates Creek 23-13.  Simon Kenton recorded 18 first downs and 292 yards of total offense.  The Pioneers were penalized six times for 40 yards and lost two fumbles.  Tates Creek recorded 15 first downs and 248 yards of total offense.  The Commodores were penalized seven times for 59 yards, lost three fumbles, and had two passes intercepted.

Chad Lawrence led Simon Kenton’s ground game with 81 yards on 17 carries.  Lawrence completed 17 of 22 passes for 167 yards and one touchdown.  Ryan Winkler caught eight passes for 87 yards and a touchdown.  Jake Schneider led the defense with six solo and three assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totalling 14 yards.  Austin Baldwin added six solo and one assisted tackles with three of his losses totalling 20 yards.  Derek Mills recorded three solo tackles, seven assisted tackles, and returned a fumble recovery 20 yards for a touchdown.

Jontez Jones led Tates Creek’s ground game with 105 yards on 17 carries.  Brandon Shrout carried the ball seven times for 41 yards.  Martrell Berry completed 14 of 29 passes for 132 yards and two touchdowns with one interception.  Austin Crutcher caught five passes for 54 yards and two touchdowns.  Brandon Shrout added four receptions for 57 yards.  Jamal Wagner led the defense with four solo and seven assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totalling two yards.  Jontez Jones added five solo and one assisted tackles.

Lafayette defeated North Hardin tonight by a score of 24-6.  Lafayette recorded nine first downs and 211 yards of total offense.  The Generals were penalized 13 times for 111 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.  North Hardin recorded 17 first downs and 253 yards of total offense.  They were penalized seven times for 132 yards and lost a fumble.  North hardin ran 69 plays on offense compared to 47 plays for Lafayette.

Bubba Johnson led Lafayette’s ground game with 114 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries.  Matt Britt completed eight of 17 passes for 109 yards and a touchdown with one interception.  Tanner Napier caught three passes for 48 yards and a touchdown.  Nick Jeter added three receptions for 38 yards.  Andy Hampton led the defense with 10 solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totalling five yards.  David kenner added six solo tackles.

Vincent Davis led North Hardin’s ground attack with 138 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries.  Vincent Davis completed eight of 30 passes for 93 yards.  Trevino Conley caught four passes for 47 yards.  Antonio Simmons led the defense with five solo and three assisted tackles.  Alik Rucker added two solo and three assisted tackles.  M. Brunson recorded one solo tackle, three assisted tackles, a fumble recovery, and a pass interception.

Henry Clay defeated Conner by a score of 32-20.  Henry Clay recorded 22 first downs and 421 yards of total offense.  The Blue Devils were penalized 10 times for 65 yards.  Conner recorded 19 first downs and 346 yards of total offense.  They were penalized five times for 44 yards, lost two fumbles, and had three passes intercepted.

Bo Brooks led Henry Clay’s ground game with 137 yards on 14 carries.  Vinny Miller carried the ball 24 times for 97 yards and two touchdowns.  Blake Green added 65 yards and two touchdowns on four carries.  Vinny Miller completed seven of 17 passes for 74 yards and a touchdown.  Carwell Gardner caught four passes for 51 yards and a touchdown.  Charles McCarty led the defense with three solo and three assisted tackles.  Anthony Mealy added four solo tackles.  Anthony Benton, AJ Yewell, and Jerry Williams each intercepted a pass.

Blake Kennedy led Conner’s ground game with 24 yards on four carries.  Cy Smith added 21 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries.  Cy Smith completed 23 of 42 passes for two touchdowns with three interceptions.  Camron Fogle caught nine passes for 118 yards.  Taylor Miller caught seven passes for 81 yards and two touchdowns.  Wes Walters led the defense with seven solo and six assisted tackles with five of his tackles resulting in losses totalling 16 yards.  Abr. Mendez added seven solo and three assisted tackles with 3.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totalling 12 yards.

Lexington Catholic scored a late touchdown to ensure a 27-19 victory over Harrison County.  Lexington Catholic’s ground game (46 carries for 299 yards) led by Konnor Vasilko’s 157 yards on 23 carries was the key to victory tonight.  Both teams were plagued by mistakes tonight as they combined for 28 penalties for 228 yards.

Lexington Catholic recorded 18 first downs and 340 yards of total offense.  The Knights were penalized 15 times for 145 yards and lost a fumble.  Harrison County recoeded 11 first downs and 208 yards of total offense.  The Thoroughbreds were penalized 13 times for 83 yards, lost a fumble, and had two passes intercepted.

Konnor Vasilko led Lexington Catholic’s ground game with 157 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries.  Kyle Bolin added 69 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries.  Amoh Kumengisa added 50 yards and a touchdown on seven carries.  Kyle Bolin completed five of 16 passes for 41 yards.  Nate Letton caught two passes for 22 yards.  Nate Letton led the defense with four solo and one assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totalling seven yards.  Letton also recovered a fumble.  Alex Nash and Will Childers each recorded four solo tackles.

Joe Karona led Harrison County’s ground game with 31 yards on 10 carries.  Joe Karona completed 16 of 32 passes for 176 yards and three touchdowns with two interceptions.  Matt Carter caught six passes for 58 yards and a touchdown.  Elijah Gross added four receptions for 57 yards.  Shane Fowler caught three passes for 64 yards and two touchdowns.  Matt Carter led the defense with 10 solo and two assisted tackles.  Shane Fowler added seven solo and two assisted tackles.

Tates Creek 28  Woodford County 13 – Jontez Jones carried the ball 17 times for 149 yards and a touchdown and Martrell Berry threw TD strikes of 24 and 36 yards to Austin Crutcher to lead the Commodores to victory.
