Breathitt County 47  Knott County Central 0 – QB Richard Trent threw touchdown passes of 54, 56, and 4 yards to lead the Bobcats to victory.

 

Friday October 21st

 

Belfry 52  Pike County Central 20 – Congratulations to Belfry coach Philip Haywood on his 346th victory which makes him number one in state history.

Lexington Christian Academy 14  Danville 13 – LCA rallied from a 13-0 deficit for the upset victory.

Anderson County 50  East Jessamine 16 – QB Seth Carmichael completed 12 of 15 passes for 340 yards and six touchdowns.

Lexington Catholic 41  Marion County 18 – Amoh Kumengisa ran for 116 yards and three touchdowns and Kyle Boling threw for 207 yards and two touchdowns to lead the victors.

Bryan Station 31  Henry Clay 14 – LeDarius Jackson led Bryan Station with 221 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries.  Henry Clay’s Davion Jackson carried the ball 20 times for 141 yards and two touchdowns.

Scott County 55  Paul L. Dunbar 6 – Scott County raced out to a 49-0 lead at halftime.

Lafayette 14  Tates Creek 7 – William Johnson scored on a one yard run and Darius Hughes caught a 37 yard scoring strike from Garrett Peavler to lead Lafayette.

Madison Central 15  George Rogers Clark 13 – Madison Central rallied from a 13-0 deficit in the fourth quarter to gain the victory on a 15 yard run by Daniel Foster with 28 seconds remaining on the clock.

Central 35  LaRue County 14 – Anthony Wales carried the ball 18 times for 287 yards and four touchdowns and caught three passes for 79 yards and a touchdown.

Bardstown 38  DeSales 31 – Jordan Brewer threw for 121 yards and ran for 114 yards including a 64 yard TD run.  Anthony Myrks caught eight passes for 121 yards and a touchdown.

Franklin County 41  Montgomery County 14 – Chris Roberts carried the ball 11 times for 111 yards including TD runs of 10, 3, and 51 yards to lead the Flyers.

Christian Academy of Louisville 38  Fort Knox 8 – Ivan Talley ran for 225 yards and three touchdowns to lead the victors.

Jeffersontown 59  Iroquois 0 – DeMichael Jackson completed six of nine passes for 112 yards and ran for 117 yards and three touchdowns on 13 carries.

Pleasure Ridge Park 63  Southern 18 – Spencer Sumpter completed seven of 10 passes for 127 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 56 yards and two touchdowns to lead PRP.

Valley 27  Fairdale 14 – Lee Hayden ran for 163 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries.

Highlands 34  Cincinnati Elder 29 – Patrick Towles went out with an injury in the first quarter but Donovan McCoy stepped up and completed 11 of 26 passes for 245 yards including touchdowns of 4 and 58 yards and ran for a 9 yard touchdown to lead the Bluebirds.

Collins 56  Atherton 0 – Lawson Page threw TD passes of 5, 22, 62, and 5 yards and ran 1 and 3 yards for scores to lead Collins.

Harlan County 44  Perry County Central 29 – Jordy Brewer scored on runs of 47, 1, and 5 yards and Marcus McMillan scored on runs of 30 and 1 yards to lead the victors.

Harrison County 44  Pendleton County 20 – Nick Slucher scored on runs of 36, 6, 1, and 17 yards to lead Harrison County.

Hazard 63  Pineville 14 – QB Evan Whitaker threw touchdown passes of 43, 9, 33, and 35 yards to lead the victors.

Madison Central trailed 13-0 mid-way through the final quarter but rallied to defeat George Rogers Clark 15-13.  Daniel Foster scored on a 15 yard run with 28 seconds left in the game to give Madison Central the victory.  Madison Central improves to 5-4 while George Rogers Clark falls to 3-6 for the season.  Madison Central recorded 13 first downs and 257 yards of total offense.  The Indians were penalized twice for 10 yards and had two passes intercepted.  George Rogers Clark recorded 13 first downs and 290 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized six times for 51 yards and had two passes intercepted.

Dominique Hawkins led the Madison Central ground game with 81 yards on 16 carries.  Jamez Chenault carried the ball eight times for 41 yards.  Hunter Stocker completed six of 16 passes for 95 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions.  Hunter Allen caught two passes for 35 yards and a touchdown.  Brandon Parks led the defense with four solo and 10 assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totalling four yards.  Tucker Fair added one solo and 10 assisted tackles.  Dre Goggins intercepted two passes.

Pokey Harris led George Rogers Clark’s ground game with 139 yards on 28 carries.  Pokey Harris completed two of eight passes for 48 yards and a touchdown with one interception.  Darian Skinner caught one pass for 42 yards and Conner Shoebrooks caught a 36 yard touchdown pass.  Conner Shoebrooks led the defense with six solo and five assisted tackles.  Chase Austin added four solo and three assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totalling eight yards.

Lafayette defeated Tates Creek 14-7 to improve their record to 7-3 while Tates Creek falls to 3-7.  Lafayette recorded 11 first downs and 165 yards of total offense.  The Generals were penalized seven times for 72 yards, lost two fumbles, and had a pass intercepted.  Tates Creek recorded 12 first downs and 120 yards of total offense.  The Commodores were penalized three times for 64 yards, lost two fumbles, and had two passes intercepted.

William Johnson led Lafayette’s ground game with 69 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries.  Garrett Peavler completed five of 13 passes for 75 yards and a touchdown with one interception.  Darius Hughes caught two passes for 48 yards and a touchdown.  Justin Carr led the defense with seven solo and eight assisted tackles.  Carr also recovered a fumble.  Andy Hampton added two solo and eight assisted tackles.  Jason Ferguson intercepted two passes.

Dennis Oxendine led Tates Creek’s ground game with 83 yards on 24 carries.  Graham Gordon completed two of six passes for eight yards.  Martell Berry caught one pass for six yards.  William Hardin led the defense with three solo and five assisted tackles and recovered a fumble.  Dennis Oxendine added four solo tackles.  T. Jemison recorded three solo and two assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totalling four yards.

Scott County raced out to a 49-0 halftime lead on their way to a 55-6 victory over Paul L. Dunbar.  Scott County improves to 9-0 while Paul L. Dunbar remains winless at 0-9 for the season.  Scott County recorded 15 first downs and 328 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized three times for 15 yards.  Paul L. Dunbar recorded eight first downs and 146 yards of total offense.  The Bulldogs were penalized five times for 35 yards, lost two fumbles, and had two passes intercepted.

Kevin Clausen led Scott County’s ground game with 71 yards and a touchdown on four carries.  Kevo Edwards carried the ball four times for 44 yards and two touchdowns.  Ben Lawler completed four of four passes for 91 yards and two touchdowns.  Scott Daniel caught three passes for 60 yards and a touchdown.  Damon Gray led the defense with four solo and one assisted tackles.  Akil Campbell added three solo and one assisted tackles.

Emory Thompson led Dunbar’s ground game with 58 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries.  Antwan Williams carried the ball 12 times for 54 yards.  Emory Thompson completed two of six passes for six yards with two interceptions.  Brandyn Duncan caught one pass for seven yards.  Jonathan Brown led the defense with six solo and two assisted tackles.  Seth Haga added three solo and two assisted tackles.

Anderson County QB Seth Carmichael riddled East Jessamine’s defense for 340 yards and six touchdown passes and the opportunistic defense forced seven turnovers in a 50-16 victory.  Anderson County improves to 7-2 for the season.  East Jessamine, who was hampered by the loss of Cameron Thomas (1700 yards on the ground and 17 touchdowns) due to an injury falls to 5-4 for the season.  Anderson County recorded 11 first downs and 399 yards of total offense.  The Bearcats were penalized 10 times for 61 yards, lost a fumble and had a pass intercepted.  East Jessamine recorded 14 first downs and 209 yards of total offense.  The Jaguars were penalized twice for 26 yards, lost three fumbles and had four passes intercepted.

Nathan Cox led Anderson County’s ground game with 13 yards on four carries.  Seth Carmichael completed 12 of 15 passes for 340 yards and six touchdowns.  Ethan Kelly caught four passes for 216 yards and three touchdowns.  Travis Phillips added three receptions for 35 yards and two touchdowns.  Travis Phillips led the defense with seven solo and three assisted tackles.  B. Curtsinger added six solo and three assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a loss of 10 yards.  Tristan Ashburn recorded four solo and four assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a 12 yard loss.  Seth Carmichael added four solo tackles and intercepted three passes.  Ethan Kelly added two solo tackles and scored on a 54 yard interception return.

Blake Hinkle led East Jessamine’s ground game with 65 yards on 19 carries.  Cody Garrett completed three of 14 passes for 35 yards with four interceptions.  Hayden Tatman caught two passes for 19 yards.  Hayden Tatman led the defense with three solo and two assisted tackles.  Billy Russell added three solo tackles.

Lexington Catholic outscored Marion County 20-0 in the third quarter on their way to a 41-18 victory.  Lexington Catholic improves their record to 8-1 while Marion County falls to 3-6 for the season.  Lexington Catholic recorded 16 first downs and 461 yards of total offense.  The Knights were penalized eight times for 56 yards, lost three fumbles, and had a pass intercepted.  Marion County recorded 12 first downs and 328 yards of total offense.  They were penalized three times for 25 yards, lost three fumbles, and had two passes intercepted.

Amoh Kumengisa led Lexington Catholic’s ground game with 116 yards and three touchdowns on 11 carries.  Marcelis Logan carried the ball four times for 50 yards and a touchdown.  Kyle Bolin completed 14 of 27 passes for 207 yards and two touchdowns with one interception.  Adam Bush caught four passes for 84 yards and a touchdown.  David Bouvier caught four passes for 50 yards.  Jordan Artrip led the defense with eight solo and three assisted tackles.  Mike Lynch added seven solo and two assisted tackles.  Lynch also intercepted two passes.  Trey Mattingly added six solo and two assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totalling 10 yards.  Alex Nash recorded four solo and two assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totalling 15 yards.  Nash also recovered a fumble.

J. Mattingly led Marion County’s ground game with 122 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries.  Austin Turner carried the ball 14 times for 77 yards and a touchdown.  Ryan Peterson added 71 yards on five carries.  Ryan Peterson completed two of six passes for 19 yards with an interception.  Vincent Collins caught one pass for 19 yards.  Ben Mattingly led the defense with seven solo and one assisted tackles and also intercepted a pass.  Carlos Litsey added seven solo tackles and scored on a 98 yard fumble recovery return.

Bryan Station defeated Henry Clay by a score of 31-14 to improve their record to 6-3.  Henry Clay falls to 3-7 for the season.  Bryan Station recorded 17 first downs and 462 yards of total offense.  The Defenders were penalized nine times for 92 yards and lost two fumbles.  Henry Clay recorded 19 first downs and 290 yards of total offense.  The Blue Devils were penalized once for 10 yards, lost two fumbles, and had two passes intercepted.

LeDarius Jackson led Bryan Station’s ground attack with 221 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries.  Tyus Alcorn carried the ball eight times for 52 yards.  Tyus Alcorn completed three of five passes for 117 yards and a touchdown.  D’Yantae Logan caught a 73 yards touchdown pass.  Michael Morton led the defense with two solo and eight assisted tackles.  Everett Talbert added four solo and five assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a three yard loss and intercepted a pass.

Davion Jackson led Henry Clay’s ground game with 141 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries.  Christian Todd completed 10 of 15 passes for 81 yards with two interceptions.  Austin Black caught three passes for 34 yards.  Cole McCarty led the defense with three solo and seven assisted tackles.  Charles McCarty added two solo and eight assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a three yard loss and recovered a fumble.  Anthony Lindsey recorded three solo and six assisted tackles.

Franklin County utilized their high octane offense to defeat Montgomery County 41-14 and improve their record to 10-0 for the season.  Montgomery County falls to 4-5 for the season.  Franklin County recorded 16 first downs and 448 yards of total offense.  The Flyers were penalized nine times for 65yards, lost two fumbles, and had two passes intercepted.  Montgomery County recorded 18 first downs and 304 yards of total offense.  The Indians were penalized three times for 15 yards  and lost two fumbles.

Chris Roberts led Franklin County’s ground game with 111 yards and three touchdowns on 11 carries.  Daniel Anderson carried the ball nine times for 87 yards and a touchdown.  Ryan Timmons carried the ball four times for 78 yards and a touchdown.  Logan Woodside completed five of 17 passes for 137 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions.  Greg Maupin caught two passes for 103 yards and a touchdown.  Aaron Lackey led the defense with four solo and 11 assisted tackles.  Josh Pedone added four solo and six assisted tackles.  Jay Brough recorded two solo and five assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totalling nine yards.

Uvea Moala led Montgomery County’s ground game with 105 yards on 18 carries.  Daryl McCane carried the ball five times for 69 yards and a touchdown.  Matt Tuttle completed nine of 20 passes for 74 yards and a touchdown.  Joe Benson caught two passes for 30 yards and a touchdown.  Blake Preston led the defense with seven solo and seven assisted tackles.  Joe Benson added three solo and four assisted tackles.  Daryl McCane recorded three solo and three assisted tackles, and recovered a fumble.

Dawkins' five touchdowns defeated Male by a score of 49-0 tonight to improve to 8-0 for the season.  Male falls to 2-6 for the year.  Trinity recorded 20 first downs and 484 yards of total offense.  The Shamrocks were penalized three times for 25 yards and lost a fumble.  Male recorded six first downs and 115 yards of total offense.  They were penalized twice for 10 yards, lost a fumble, and had two passes intercepted.

D. Dawkins led Trinity’s ground game with 109 yards and four touchdowns on 18 carries.  J. Quick carried the ball three times for 64 yards.  G. Sauer added 59 yards and a touchdown on three carries.  T. Wright completed 12 of 16 passes for 229 yards and two touchdowns.  J. Quick caught three passes for 58 yards.  D.
