Henry Clay coach Eric Sanford started the following lineup: 5-9 Sr. Kerrigan Davis, 5-8 Jr. Anovia Byars. 6-1 Sr. Hannah Young, 5-6 Jr. T’Laya Lyvers, and 5-6 Sr. Destiny Carter.  Paul Laurence Dunbar coach Sarah Bridenbaugh countered with 5-10 Sr. Nicole Armstrong, 5-9 So. Autumn Herriford, 6-0 Sr. Merissa Marrow, 5-4 Fr. Mashayla Cecil, and 5-4 Jr. Ezzy Ighodaro.

Henry Clay easily defeated a Dunbar squad that shot a dismal 17.8% from the field by a score of 59-23.  Henry Clay shot 36.1% from the field including three of 14 from the three point line.  The Lady Blue Devils connected on four of 10 from the free throw line, pulled down 54 rebounds, and scored 28 points off 28 Dunbar turnovers.  Dunbar shot 17.8% from the field including two of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Bulldogs connected on five of 13 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored eight points off 17 Henry Clay turnovers.

Hannah Young led Henry Clay with 14 points and eight rebounds.  T’Laya Lyvers added 12 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, and six steals.  5-10 Jr. Nakeisha Green pulled down nine rebounds.

Ezzy Ighodaro led Dunbar with 11 points and four rebounds.  Nicole Armstrong pulled down eight rebounds.

Dontell Brown, 6-0 Jr. Jordan Lewis, and 6-2 So. Taveion Hollingsworth.

Henry Clay raced out to an early 13-2 lead but Paul Laurence Dunbar fought back to capture a 60-53 victory.  Dunbar shot 44.2% from the field including two of eight from the three point line.  The Bulldogs connected on 12 of 25 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 34 points off 28 Henry Clay turnovers.  Henry Clay shot 50% from the field including four of nine from beyond the arc.  The Blue Devils connected on 11 of 18 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 19 Dunbar turnovers.

Taveion Hollingsworth led Dunbar with 18 points and five rebounds.  Jordan Lewis added 12 points, six rebounds, three assists, and six steals.  Darius Williams chipped in with eight points and four steals.  Dontell Brown recorded seven points, eight rebounds, two blocked shots, and three steals.

Jordan Houston led Henry Clay with 18 points, eight rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Dakhari Campbell added 13 points including three three point baskets.  Isaiah Tisdale chipped in with 12 points.  Colby Barnes recorded eight points and seven rebounds.

Tre King, 6-0 Sr. John Stein, and 6-5 8th Grade Kyle Rode.

Lexington Christian Academy eked out a 53-52 victory over Campbell County.  There were nine ties and 11 lead changes in this game.  LCA shot 42.2% from the field including three of 12 from the three point line.  The Eagles connected on 12 of 16 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored six points off eight Campbell County turnovers.  Campbell County shot 35.9% from the field including seven of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Camels connected on 17 of 22 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 11 LCA turnovers.

Matt Rose led LCA with 31 points including 12 of 14 free throws and nine rebounds.  Kyle Rode added eight points.

Deondre Jackson led Campbell County with 24 points including five three point baskets.  Matt Wilson added 12 points and eight rebounds.

Lexington Christian Academy coach Nate Valentine started the following lineup: 6-7 Sr. Matt Rose, 6-4 Sr. Benton Nighbert, 6-8 Sr. Drew Trimble, 6-0 Sr. John Stein, and 6-5 8th Grade Kyle Rode.  West Jessamine coach Damon Kelley countered with 6-4 Sr. Brooks Ely, 6-3 Jr. Siah Holifield, 6-4 Sr. Dalton Crouse, 6-0 Jr. Camron Seater, and 6-0 Sr. David McCorvey.

Lexington Christian Academy trailed by seven points with less than four minutes left in the game but rallied to earn a 65-62 victory over West Jessamine.  There were eight lead changes and five ties in this game.  This was a game of “runs” as LCA led 22-12 early in the second quarter but West Jessamine rallied to lead 30-27 at halftime.  West Jessamine was hampered down the stretch as Brooks Ely fouled out late in the game.  LCA shot 51.4% from the field including seven of 14 from the three point line.  The Eagles connected on 20 of 23 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 13 points off nine West Jessamine turnovers.  West Jessamine shot 40.4% from the field including four of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Colts connected on 16 of 24 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 16 LCA turnovers.

Matt Rose led LCA with 25 points including 10 of 11 free throws and five rebounds.  Drew Trimble added 12 points and nine rebounds.  Benton Nighbert also scored 12 points on four three point baskets.  Kyle Rode recorded nine points and four rebounds.

Brooks Ely led West Jessamine with 21 points.  David McCorvey added 13 points and nine rebounds.  Siah Holifield recorded 11 points.

Sacred Heart defeated Notre Dame by a score of 49-41.  The score was tied five times and there were seven lead changes in this game.  Sacred Heart shot 43.6% from the field including two of nine from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on 13 of 23 free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and scored 27 points off 22 Notre Dame turnovers. Notre Dame shot 39.4% from the field including two of eight from beyond the arc.  The Pandas connected on 13 of 19 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored six points off 12 Sacred Heart turnovers.

Grace Berger led Sacred Heart with 20 points, seven rebounds, and five steals.  5-4 Fr. Kiki Samsel added 14 points including two three point baskets.

Hillary Hellmann led Notre Dame with 20 points and eight rebounds.  Haylee Smith added eight points and 10 rebounds.

Manual defeated Mercy Academy by a score of 67-65.  Manual shot 45.6% from the field including six of 17 from the three point line.  The Lady Crimsons connected on 19 of 30 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 12 Mercy Academy.  Mercy shot 44.8% from the field including eight of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Jaguars connected on 10 of 15 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 15 Manual turnovers.

Krystalline McCune led Manual with 25 points, 14 rebounds, and four steals.  McCune was seven of 11 from the field and 11 of 13 from the free throw line.  Teanna Curry added 17 points including three three point baskets.  Tonysha Curry recorded 13 points and five rebounds.

Malerie Martin led Mercy with 32 points including eight three point baskets.  Hannah Bewley added 12 points and five rebounds.

Tanner Johnson led Lexington catholic with 19 points including three three point baskets.  Jarod Griffin and Michael Talbott each recorded 12 points. 

Jajuante Carpenter led Lafayette with 19 points including four three point baskets.  Harrison Lane added 12 points.  Ross Jenkins recorded 10 points, nine rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Lucky Jackson pulled down seven rebounds.  6-2 Jr. William Watkins also pulled down seven rebounds.

West Jessamine shot 46.3% from the field including five of 14 from the three point line.  The Colts connected on 29 of 42 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 30 points off 27 Breathitt County turnovers.  Breathitt County shot 53.1% from the field including nine of 16 from beyond the arc.  The Bobcats connected on 22 of 44 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored nine points off 12 West Jessamine turnovers.
