Lafayette coach Mike Mendenhall III started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Lucky Jackson, 5-10 Jr. Jaelin Jenkins, 6-6 Jr. Ross Jenkins, 5-10 So. Jajuante Carpenter, and 6-0 Jr. Harrison Lane.  Lexington Christian Academy coach Nate Valentine countered with 6-7 Sr. Matt Rose, 6-4 Sr. Benton Nighbert, 6-8 Sr. Drew Trimble, 6-0 Sr. John Stein, and 6-5 8th Grade Kyle Rode.

Lexington Christian Academy outscored Lafayette 19-9 in the final quarter to earn a 49-40 victory.  There were 10 lead changes and six ties in this game.  LCA shot 35.9% from the field including three of 11 from the three point line.  The Eagles connected on 18 of 22 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 13 Lafayette turnovers.  Lafayette shot 33.3% from the field including five of 22 from beyond the arc.  The Generals connected on three of five free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored five points off 14 LCA turnovers.

Matt Rose led LCA with 21 points and seven rebounds.  Benton Nighbert added nine points including two three point baskets.  6-6 So. Tre King recorded six points and six rebounds.

Jajuante Carpenter and 5-9 Jr. TJ Downey led Lafayette with 10 points each.  Ross Jenkins recorded seven points, six rebounds, and four blocked shots.

Cooper Watts, 5-10 Sr. Jamel Banks, and 6-0 Sr. Clarien Washington.  Bryan Station coach Tommy Johnson countered with 6-3 Sr. Tequan Claitt, 6-1 Sr. Josh Owsley, 6-5 Jr. Deandre Dishman, 6-0 Jr. Andre Davis, and 6-0 Sr. CJ Walker.

Bryan Station defeated Scott County by a score of 81-70.  Bryan Station shot 50% from the field including six of 16 from the three point line.  The Defenders connected on 17 of 22 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 14 Scott County turnovers.  Scott County shot 42.6% from the field including one of nine from beyond the arc.  The Cardinals connected on 23 of 26 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 14 Bryan Station turnovers.

Andre Davis led Bryan Station with 21 points, four rebounds, and five assists.  Tequan Claitt added 16 points, nine rebounds, and five assists.  CJ Walker chipped in with 13 points.  6-2 Jr. Timothy Dunn added 11 points.

6-1 Jr. Tay Guyn led Scott County with 17 points and five rebounds.  Hines Jones also scored 17 points.  Clarien Washington added 14 points.  Cooper Watts recorded 11 points and 12 rebounds.

Peyton Riddle.  Bryan Station coach Shawn Ransom countered with 5-7 Jr. Asjah Hall, 5-6 So. Carah Burdette, 5-6 Jr. Brittany White, 5-4 Sr. Zaria Elery, and 5-6 Fr. Kyrah Hardin.

Scott County raced out to a 28-15 lead in the second quarter but Bryan Station rallied to earn a 64-55 victory.  Bryan Station shot 29.9% from the field including one of four from the three point line.  The Lady Defenders connected on 23 of 31 free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 20 Scott County turnovers.  Scott County shot 32.8% from the field including four of 22 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Cardinals connected on 11 of 27 free throws, pulled down 55 rebounds, and scored three points off seven Bryan Station turnovers.

Zaria Elery led Bryan Station with 31 points including 17 of 21 free throws and six rebounds.  Carah Burdette added 15 points and three steals.  Brittany White recorded 13 points and nine rebounds.

Lauren Boehm led Scott County with 16 points and 22 rebounds.  Sidney Southerland added 15 points and eight rebounds.  Peyton Riddle chipped in with 11 points including three three point baskets.  Juliette Smith recorded seven points, five rebounds, and four assists.

Lexington Catholic eked out a 43-39 victory over Tates Creek.  Lexington Catholic shot 44.1% from the field including six of 12 from the three point line.  The Knights connected on seven of 10 free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and scored eight points off nine Tates Creek turnovers.  Tates Creek shot 38.5% from the field including six of 18 from beyond the arc.  The Commodores connected on three of eight free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored two points off six Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Tanner Johnson led Lexington Catholic with 19 points including five three point baskets.  Jarod Griffin added nine points and four rebounds.  Michael Talbott recorded nine points and three assists.  Reese Ryan chipped in with four points, four rebounds, and five assists.  Walker Boothe pulled down six rebounds.

Jordan Fucci led Tates Creek with 16 points, 11 rebounds, and four assists.  Desmond Duke added nine points on three three point baskets.  Trey Sturdivant chipped in with seven points.

5-4 Fr. Kiki Samsel led Sacred Heart with 22 points including six three point baskets.  Grace Berger added 10 points and five rebounds.  Ashley Johnson recorded eight points and five assists.  Kia Sivils and Lydia Taylor each pulled down six rebounds.

Alex Martin led Ballard with 15 points and 12 rebounds.  Briana Mishler added 14 points.  Shania Beason recorded eight points, seven rebounds, and four steals.

Henry Clay easily defeated a Dunbar squad that shot a dismal 17.8% from the field by a score of 59-23.  Henry Clay shot 36.1% from the field including three of 14 from the three point line.  The Lady Blue Devils connected on four of 10 from the free throw line, pulled down 54 rebounds, and scored 28 points off 28 Dunbar turnovers.  Dunbar shot 17.8% from the field including two of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Bulldogs connected on five of 13 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored eight points off 17 Henry Clay turnovers.

Hannah Young led Henry Clay with 14 points and eight rebounds.  T’Laya Lyvers added 12 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, and six steals.  5-10 Jr. Nakeisha Green pulled down nine rebounds.

Ezzy Ighodaro led Dunbar with 11 points and four rebounds.  Nicole Armstrong pulled down eight rebounds.

Taveion Hollingsworth led Dunbar with 18 points and five rebounds.  Jordan Lewis added 12 points, six rebounds, three assists, and six steals.  Darius Williams chipped in with eight points and four steals.  Dontell Brown recorded seven points, eight rebounds, two blocked shots, and three steals.

Matt Rose led LCA with 31 points including 12 of 14 free throws and nine rebounds.  Kyle Rode added eight points.

Lexington Christian Academy trailed by seven points with less than four minutes left in the game but rallied to earn a 65-62 victory over West Jessamine.  There were eight lead changes and five ties in this game.  This was a game of “runs” as LCA led 22-12 early in the second quarter but West Jessamine rallied to lead 30-27 at halftime.  West Jessamine was hampered down the stretch as Brooks Ely fouled out late in the game.  LCA shot 51.4% from the field including seven of 14 from the three point line.  The Eagles connected on 20 of 23 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 13 points off nine West Jessamine turnovers.  West Jessamine shot 40.4% from the field including four of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Colts connected on 16 of 24 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 16 LCA turnovers.

Matt Rose led LCA with 25 points including 10 of 11 free throws and five rebounds.  Drew Trimble added 12 points and nine rebounds.  Benton Nighbert also scored 12 points on four three point baskets.  Kyle Rode recorded nine points and four rebounds.

Brooks Ely led West Jessamine with 21 points.  David McCorvey added 13 points and nine rebounds.  Siah Holifield recorded 11 points.

Sacred Heart defeated Notre Dame by a score of 49-41.  The score was tied five times and there were seven lead changes in this game.  Sacred Heart shot 43.6% from the field including two of nine from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on 13 of 23 free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and scored 27 points off 22 Notre Dame turnovers. Notre Dame shot 39.4% from the field including two of eight from beyond the arc.  The Pandas connected on 13 of 19 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored six points off 12 Sacred Heart turnovers.

Grace Berger led Sacred Heart with 20 points, seven rebounds, and five steals.  5-4 Fr. Kiki Samsel added 14 points including two three point baskets.

Hillary Hellmann led Notre Dame with 20 points and eight rebounds.  Haylee Smith added eight points and 10 rebounds.
