Scott County utilized their punishing ground game (427 yards and nine touchdowns on 37 carries for an 11.5 average) on their way to a 71-20 victory over Highlands.  Scott County recorded 22 first downs and 580 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized once for 15 yards.  Highlands recorded 17 first downs and 405 yards of total offense.  The Bluebirds were penalized once for five yards, lost two fumbles, and had one pass intercepted.

Brice Fryman led Scott County’s ground game with 177 yards and two touchdowns on eight carries.  Payton Brown carried the ball seven times for 77 yards and three touchdowns.  Keon Edwards carried the ball once for 64 yards and a touchdown.  Austin Barnett added 64 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries.  Josh Davis completed seven of 10 passes for 153 yards and a touchdown.  Glenn Covington caught six passes for 115 yards and a touchdown.  Brice Fryman returned one kickoff for 39 yards.  Berk Watts led the defense with nine solo and five assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling five yards.  Cooper Robb added four solo and three assisted tackles.  Sam Sutton intercepted a pass and Payton Brown and Glenn Covington each recovered a fumble.

Sawyer Depp led the Highlands’ ground game with 79 yards on 16 carries.  C. Schwalbach carried the ball nine times for 49 yards and a touchdown.  Carl Schoellman completed 16 of 27 passes for 246 yards and two touchdowns with one interception.  Nick Veneman caught three passes for 105 yards and a touchdown.  Jared Wogan added three receptions for 39 yards and C. Schwalbach caught three passes for 29 yards.  Nick Roberts added a 19 yard touchdown reception.  Nick Veneman returned eight kickoffs for 173 yards with a long return of 31 yards.  A. Reynolds led the defense with three solo and two assisted tackles.  Nick Bowman and Baily Armstrong each recorded two solo and four assisted tackles.
