Darcie Anderson.  Scott County coach Steve Helton countered with 5-7 Jr. Tyra Young, 5-6 Fr. Maleiyah Moore, 6-1 Sr. Kenady Tompkins, 5-4 Sr. Brianna Penney, and 5-6 Sr. Emma Price.

 

Corbin defeated Scott County by the score of 81-42.  Corbin shot 56.9% from the field including 13 of 22 from the three point line.  The Lady Redhounds connected on 10 of 16 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 15 Scott County turnovers.  Scott County shot 26.7% from the field including four of 26 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Cardinals connected on six of six free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored six points off 12 Corbin turnovers.

 

Shelby Stewart led Corbin with 17 points including three three point baskets.  Kallie Housley added 15 points including three three point baskets, seven rebounds, and five assists.  Darcie Anderson recorded 15 points on five three point baskets, two rebounds, and six assists.  5-6 So. Bailey Stewart chipped in with 10 points including two three point baskets, and five rebounds.  6-0 Sr. Erica Angel added seven points and Reagan Walker pulled down eight rebounds.

 

Kenady Tompkins led Scott County with 16 points, five rebounds, three assists, two blocked shots, and two steals.  Maleiyah Moore added 10 points including two three point baskets.  Tyra Young recorded six points on six of six free throws and two rebounds.  Emma Price chipped in with five points, six rebounds, five assists, and three steals.

Great Crossing defeated Grant County by the score of 65-53.  Great Crossing shot 57.15 from the field including five of 11 from the three point line.  The Warhawks connected on four of seven free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 14 Grant County turnovers.  Grant County shot 42.9% from the field including two of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Braves connected on nine of 17 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 24 points off 14 Great Crossing turnovers.

 

5-9 Jr. Junius Burrell led Great Crossing with 23 points and five steals.  Gage Richardson added 13 points including three three point baskets.  Vince Dawson recorded nine points, three rebounds, and four assists.  Malachi Moreno chipped in with three points, 11 rebounds, and six blocked shots.

Montgomery County raced out to a 22-11 first quarter lead on their way to a 67-50 victory over Madison Central.  Montgomery County shot 56% from the field including two of 11 from the three point line.  They connected on nine of 16 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 14 Madison Central turnovers.  Madison Central shot 34.5% from the field including three of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Indians connected on nine of 19 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 19 Montgomery County turnovers.

 

Savannah Parker led Montgomery County with 25 points, eight rebounds, and four assists.  Parker was 12 of 15 from the field and one for one from the free throw line. Allie Dillon added 17 points including two three point baskets, eight rebounds, seven assists, and two steals.   Hayden Barrier recorded 14 points, three rebounds, five assists, and two steals.  Reaghan Oney pulled down 10 rebounds.

 

Bailey Hensley led Madison central with 20 points, 10 rebounds, two assists, and two steals.  Brittany Campbell added eight points, two rebounds, five assists, and three steals.  Kessaney Melton recorded eight points and three rebounds.  Eden Carter chipped in with five points, four rebounds, three assists, and one steal.  5-7 So. Scott County outscored Bryan Station 23-11 in the final quarter to earn a 69-59 come-from-behind victory over the Defenders.  The score was tied four times and there were eight lead changes in the game.  Scott County shot 45.5% from the field including nine of 19 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on 10 of 15 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 21 Bryan Station turnovers.  Bryan Station shot 47.1% from the field including three of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Defenders connected on eight of 12 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 16 Scott County turnovers.

 

Nick Mosby led Scott County with 22 points, five rebounds, and eight steals.  Isaiah Haynes added 20 points including six three point baskets.  Jeremy Hamilton recorded 14 points including four of six free throws, six rebounds, and three blocked shots.  JZ Middleton chipped in with eight points, three rebounds, four assists, and two steals.
