Frederick Douglass defeated Scott County by the score of 71-63. Frederick Douglass shot 53.7% from the field including five of 15 from the three point line. Great Crossing outscored Grant County 21-12 in the final quarter to earn a 57-52 victory. The score was tied eight times and there were 12 lead changes in the game. Great Crossing shot 45.7% from the field including three of nine from the three point line. The Warhawks connected on 12 of 25 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 19 Grant County turnovers. Grant County shot 28.6% from the field including five of 21 from beyond the arc. Anderson County captured a hard fought 43-39 home victory over Madison Central tonight. The difference in the game was at the charity stripe as Madison Central was whistled for 18 fouls while the home team Lady Bearcats were only called for eight fouls. Anderson County held a 20-6 advantage in free throw points. Anderson County shot 27% from the field including three of 16 from the three point line. The Lady Bearcats connected on 20 of 23 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 14 Madison Central turnovers. Madison Central shot 34.9% from the field including three of 12 from beyond the arc. The Lady Indians connected on six of 10 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored seven points off 14 Anderson County turnovers.
