Covington Catholic coach Scott Ruthsatz started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Kascyl McGillis, 6-2 Jr. Brady Hussey, 6-3 Sr. Aiden Jones, 5-10 Fr. Athens McGillis, and 6-1 Sr. Evan Ipsaro. North Laurel coach Nate Valentine countered with 6-4 Sr. Ryan Davidson, 6-2 So. Colton Rawlings, 6-4 Jr. Gavin Chadwell, 6-1 Jr. Brody Brock, and 6-3 Sr. Reed Sheppard.

North Laurel defeated Covington Catholic by the score of 72-58. North Laurel shot 51.1% from the field including five of 19 from the three point line. The Jaguars connected on 21 of 27 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored six points off four Covington Catholic turnovers. Covington Catholic shot 37.5% from the field including nine of 30 from beyond the arc. The Colonels connected on seven of 10 free throws, pulled down 19 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 12 North Laurel turnovers.

Ryan Davidson led North Laurel with 21 points and seven rebounds. Reed Sheppard added 19 points including eight of 10 free throws, seven rebounds, and seven assists. Gavin Chadwell recorded 13 points and 11 rebounds. Brody Brock chipped in with 11 points including three three point baskets and three rebounds. Colton Rawlings added seven points including five of five free throws, and five rebounds.

Evan Ipsaro led Covington Catholic with 22 points including four of four free throws, four rebounds, and four assists. Kascyl McGillis added 16 points including five three point baskets. Brady Hussey recorded 13 points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, and two assists.

Madison Southern coach Bill Bevins countered with 6-3 Jr. Jay Rose, 6-1 Jr. Zach Hudson, 6-5 Sr. Brett Erslan, 5-8 So. Casen Nobbe, and 6-0 Jr. Braden Hudson.

Madison Southern led Newport Central Catholic 26-24 at halftime but outscored the Thoroughbreds 31-17 in the third quarter on their way to a 77-61 victory. There were four ties and four lead changes in this game. Madison Southern shot 50.9% from the field including seven of 22 from the three point line. The Eagles connected on 14 of 19 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 20 Newport Central Catholic turnovers. Newport Central Catholic shot 37.9% from the field including 10 of 33 from beyond the arc. The Thoroughbreds connected on seven of eight free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 25 points off 17 Madison Southern turnovers.

Jay Rose led Madison Southern with 28 points including seven of seven free throws, seven rebounds, and three steals. Zach Hudson added 17 points including two three point baskets, eight rebounds, and four assists. Braden Hudson recorded seven points including two three point baskets, and five assists. Casen Nobbe chipped in with six points and six assists. Brett Erslan added four points, six rebounds, and two blocked shots.

Luke Runyon led Newport Central Catholic with 16 points, two rebounds, and two steals. Madison Southern coach Josh Curtis countered with 5-7 Sr. Jada Carter, 5-5 So. Ashlan Estep, 5-11 Sr. Bella Moberly, 5-4 Fr. Hadley French, and 5-7 Sr. Tara Wooten.

Madison Southern defeated Estill County by the score of 53-48. The score was tied five times and there were three lead changes in the game. Madison Southern shot 31.7% from the field including six of 16 from the three point line. The Lady Eagles connected on nine of 20 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 15 Estill County turnovers. Estill County shot 43.5% from the field including three of 16 from beyond the arc. The Lady Engineers connected on five of 10 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored two points off five Madison Southern turnovers.

Bella Moberly led Madison Southern with 16 points, 17 rebounds, and three steals. Hadley French added 11 points including three three point baskets, three rebounds, four assists, and three steals. George Rogers Clark held on late to capture a 76-73 road victory against Madison Southern.. There were eight ties and four lead changes in this game. GRC shot 50% from the field including eight of 22 from the three point line. The Cardinals connected on 18 of 25 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 13 Madison Southern turnovers. Madison Southern shot 50.8% from the field including eight of 21 from beyond the arc. The Eagles connected on three of four free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 11 GRC turnovers.

Trinity Ralston hit two free throws with four seconds remaining on the clock to give Sacred Heart Academy a 54-53 victory over George Rogers Clark. There were four lead changes and three ties in the game. Sacred Heart Academy shot 47.7% from the field including two of eight from the three point line. The Valkyries connected on 10 of 18 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored six points off eight GRC turnovers. GRC shot 37.3% from the field including one of 10 from beyond the arc. The Lady Cardinals connected on 14 of 23 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 14 Sacred Heart turnovers.

Lexington Catholic raced out to a 19-9 first quarter lead on their way to a 58-49 victory over Madison Central. The Knights connected on 11 of 12 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 12 points off eight Madison Central turnovers. Madison Central shot 43.2% from the field including seven of 19 from beyond the arc. Pulaski County coach John Fraley started the following lineup: 6-4 Sr. Cayden Lancaster, 6-1 Fr. Carson Fraley, 6-2 Sr. Brysen Dugger, 5-10 Sr. Kameryn Hargis, and 6-2 Sr. Barek Williams. Madison Southern coach Bill Bevins countered with 6-3 Jr. Jay Rose, 6-0 Jr. Avery Davidson, 6-5 Sr. Brett Erslan, 5-8 So. Casen Nobbe, and 6-0 Jr. Braden Hudson.

Madison Southern led by 19 points early in the final quarter and withstood a furious Pulaski County rally to earn a 79-74 victory. Madison Southern shot 64.4% from the field including 10 of 20 from the three point line. The Eagles connected on 11 of 14 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 10 Pulaski County turnovers. Pulaski County shot 38.9% from the field including 11 of 27 from beyond the arc. The Maroons connected on seven of 12 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 20 Madison Southern turnovers.

Jay Rose led Madison Southern with 34 points including three three point baskets, 12 rebounds, and four assists. Braden Hudson added 22 points including four three point baskets, five rebounds, five assists, and two steals. Avery Davidson recorded 11 points including three three point baskets, four rebounds, and four assists. Casen Nobbe chipped in with 10 points including six of six free throws (during final minutes), four assists, and three steals. Brett Erslan recorded two points, nine rebounds, three assists, and two blocked shots.

Barek Williams led Pulaski County with 23 points including five three point baskets, six rebounds, and two assists. Carson Fraley added 15 points, five rebounds, five assists, and five steals. Cayden Lancaster recorded 14 points including three three point baskets, eight rebounds, and two assists. Brysen Dugger chipped in with 12 points, six rebounds, five assists, and two steals, 5-10 Jr. Will Blankenship added 10 points and two steals.
