Madison Central coach Scott True started the following lineup: 5-7 Jr. Eden Carter, 5-7 So. Brooke Campbell, 5-10 Jr. Bailey Hensley, 5-7 So. Brittany Campbell, and 5-6 So. Nataya Strader. Corbin coach Isaac Wilson countered with 5-8 Jr. Darcie Anderson, 5-8 So. Kylie Clem, 5-8 So. Raegan Walker, 5-5 Jr. Mahayla Jordan, and 5-7 Jr. Kallie Housley. (Corban was without the services of Bailey (Noodles) Stewart tonight due to an injury and Darcie Anderson went out in the third quarter with a knee injury).

Madison Central led by nine in the first quarter and the score was tied 32-32 at halftime but Corbin pulled away late for a 72-63 victory. The score was tied four times and there were six lead changes in the game. Corbin shot 42.9% from the field including five of 21 from the three point line. The Lady Redhounds connected on 19 of 22 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 15 Madison Central turnovers. Madison Central shot 40.7% from the field including eight of 20 from beyond the arc. The Lady Indians connected on seven of eight free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 10 Corbin turnovers.

Kylie Clem led Corbin with 23 points including two three point baskets, five of five free throws, two rebounds, three assists, and three steals. Kallie Housley added 17 points including eight of eight free throws, seven rebounds, and six assists. Raegan Walker recorded nine points, eight rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Mahayla Jordan chipped in with seven points, eight rebounds, and two assists. Darcie Anderson recorded six points, three rebounds, five assists, two blocked shots, and two steals.

Bailey Hensley led Madison Central with 21 points, eight rebounds, and two assists. Nataya Strader added 20 points including two three point baskets, four of four free throws, four rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Brooke Campbell came up big tonight with 14 points including four three point baskets, nine rebounds, and five assists. 5-7 Jr. Olivia Metcalfe chipped in with six points on two three point baskets and three rebounds. Brittany Campbell recorded five rebounds, six assists, and three steals.

Bryan Station coach Champ Ligon Jr. countered with 6-7 Sr. Jaden Biggers, 6-3 Sr, Daeveon Adams, 6-6 So. Felix Gonzalez, 5-11 Fr. Amari Owens, and 5-11 So. Ethan Dunn.

Bryan Station pulled away in the final period to defeat Garrard County by the score of 69-59. The score was tied seven times and there were six lead changes in the game. Bryan Station shot 50.9% from the field including 11 of 20 from the three point line. The Defenders connected on four of 10 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 26 points off 15 Garrard County turnovers. Garrard County shot 45.8% from the field including seven of 19 from beyond the arc. The Golden Lions connected on eight of 14 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 12 points off nine Bryan Station turnovers.

Amari Owens led Bryan Station with 28 points including five three point baskets, six rebounds, four assists, and two steals. Felix Gonzalez added 13 points, seven rebounds, and two assists. 5-10 So. Rashaad Faulkner recorded 13 points including three three point baskets.

Ethan Cooper led Garrard County with 23 points including five three point baskets, four rebounds, and five assists. Mason Sulla added 11 points, nine rebounds, two assists, and three blocked shots. Austin Adams recorded 11 points including two three point baskets and six rebounds. Jaydon Noe chipped in with eight points.

Frederick Douglass defeated Lafayette by the score of 71-48. Frederick Douglass shot 41.5% from the field including 10 of 32 from the three point line. The Lady Broncos connected on seven of 12 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored 29 points off 21 Lafayette turnovers. Lafayette shot 40.5% from the field including six of 11 from beyond the arc. The Lady Generals connected on eight of 11 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored eight points off 16 Frederick Douglass turnovers.

Niah Rhodes led Frederick Douglass with 16 points including five three point baskets, two rebounds, and two assists. Sacred Heart Academy took advantage of Mercy Academy’s starting point guard Alyssa Murphy being unable to play tonight forcing 29 turnovers, and recording 20 steals in an 85-41 victory. Sacred Heart shot 54.4% from the field including six of 20 from the three point line. The Valkyries connected on five of 12 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 41 points off 29 Mercy Academy turnovers. Mercy Academy shot 36.6% from the field including four of 15 from beyond the arc. The Jaguars connected on seven of 12 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored two points off nine Sacred Heart turnovers.

Reagan Bender led Sacred Heart Academy with 22 points including four three point baskets, four assists, and five steals. ZaKiyah Johnson added 19 points, nine rebounds, four assists, and five steals. Great Crossing defeated Madison Southern by the score of 80-69. The score was tied four times and there were four lead changes in the game. Great Crossing shot 54.2% from the field including three of 15 from the three point line. The Warhawks connected on 13 of 18 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 24 points off 12 Madison Southern turnovers. Madison Southern shot 41.9% from the field including 12 of 29 from beyond the arc. Bullitt East defeated Madison Central 71-70 in overtime. Madison Central trailed by 19 points with 3:21 left in the second quarter and 50-40 after three quarters but Nataya Strader hit three free throws with four seconds remaining on the clock to force overtime. Bullitt East outscored Madison Central 10-9 in overtime to earn the victory. Bullitt East shot 42.9% from the field including five of 23 from the three point line. The Lady Chargers connected on 18 of 24 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 18 Madison Central turnovers. Madison Central shot 40.3% from the field including three of 20 from beyond the arc. The Lady Indians connected on 17 of 24 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 20 Bullitt East turnovers.

Lilly Reid led Bullitt East with 24 points including two three point baskets, six of eight free throws, nine rebounds, and seven assists. Scott County pulled away in the second half to defeat Berea by the score of 45-34. There were six lead changes and three ties in this game. Scott County shot 35.7% from the field including five of 20 from the three point line. The Cardinals connected on 10 of 16 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 16 Berea turnovers. Berea shot 30.3% from the field including two of eight from beyond the arc. Williamsburg coach Emily Downey started the following lineup: 5-10 8th Grade Madisyn Hopkins, 5-8 8th Grade Abby Moses, 5-11 Jr. Alexis Wilson, 5-3 Sr. Zoie Brown, and 5-7 8th Grade Presley Spicer. Lexington Christian Academy coach Tim Bradshaw countered with 5-6 Fr. Jentry Bertram, 5-7 So. Claire Roberts, 5-6 So. Ella Gabbert, 5-5 8th Grade Nia Carr, and 5-5 7th Grade Koko Castle.

Lexington Christian Academy defeated Williamsburg by the score of 74-56. There were three lead changes and one tie in this game. LCA shot 40.3% from the field including seven of 23 from the three point line. The Lady Eagles connected on 13 of 18 free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 20 Williamsburg turnovers. Williamsburg shot 40.4% from the field including four of 13 from beyond the arc. The Lady Jackets connected on 14 of 20 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored nine points off 11 LCA turnovers.

Nia Carr led LCA with 22 points including two three point baskets, seven rebounds, four assists, two blocked shots, and six steals. Claire Roberts added 16 points including seven of eight free throws, five rebounds, three assists, and five steals. Koko Castle recorded 15 points and seven rebounds. Ella Gabbert chipped in with 12 points on four three point baskets and three assists. Jentry Bertram recorded six points, 10 rebounds, and two assists.

Madisyn Hopkins led Williamsburg with 27 points including two three point baskets, nine of 13 free throws, five rebounds, four assists, three blocks, and three steals. Abby Moses added 10 points including two three point baskets. Presley Spicer recorded eight points and seven rebounds. 5-11 Jr. Alexis Wilson chipped in with eight points.
