Covington Catholic coach Scott Ruthsatz started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Brady Hussey, 6-0 Jr. Nolan Ruthsatz, 6-9 Sr. Caden Miller, 5-11 So. Cash Harney, and 5-11 So. Athens McGillis. Walton Verona coach Mike Hester countered with 6-4 Jr. Aiden Kerns, 6-3 Sr. Julian Dixon, 6-6 Jr. Aaron Gutman, 5-8 Sr. Landon Bach, and 6-2 Sr. Zach Smith.

Covington Catholic defeated Walton Verona by the score of 81-69. There were five lead changes and four ties in this game. Covington Catholic shot 57.9% from the field including six of 11 from the three point line. The Colonels connected on nine of nine free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 13 Walton Verona turnovers. Walton Verona shot 47.9% from the field including eight of 22 from beyond the arc. The Bearcats connected on 15 of 18 free throws, pulled down 21 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 14 Covington Catholic turnovers.

Cash Harney led Covington Catholic with 29 points including two three point baskets, five of five free throws, two rebounds, four assists, and four steals. Caden Miller added 22 points, nine rebounds, and two blocked shots. Athens McGillis recorded 19 points including three three point baskets, three rebounds, three assists, and three steals. Brady Hussey chipped in with nine points, five rebounds, and two assists. Nolan Ruthsatz recorded seven rebounds, two assists, and two steals.

Aaron Gutman led Walton Verona with 19 points including two three point baskets, five of eight free throws, eight rebounds, three assists, and three blocked shots. Julian Dixson added 18 points including six of six free throws, four rebounds, and two assists. Landon Bach recorded 13 points including three three point baskets, two rebounds, two assists, and four steals. Zach Smith chipped in with 10 points including four of four free throws. 5-9 Sr. Max Montgomery recorded six points on two three point baskets, and four assists.

Madison Central coach Scott True countered with 5-7 Sr. Eden Carter, 5-7 Jr. Brooke Campbell, 5-9 Jr. Cameryn Ridderikhoff, 5-7 Jr. Brittany Campbell, and 5-6 Jr. Nataya Strader.

Madison Central raced out to a 34-6 halftime lead on their way to a 51-17 victory over Lexington Catholic. Madison Central shot 45.5% from the field including six of 14 from the three point line. The Lady Indians connected on five of 13 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 28 points off 23 Lexington Catholic turnovers. Lexington Catholic shot 19.4% from the field including zero of eight from beyond the arc. The Lady Knights connected on five of seven free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored two points off eight Madison Central turnovers.

Nataya Strader led Madison Central with 14 points including two three point baskets, two rebounds, and two steals. Brittany Campbell added 10 points, five rebounds, two assists, and four steals. Cameryn Ridderikhoff recorded nine points, five rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Brooke Campbell chipped in with five points, three assists, and three steals. Eden Carter added five points, two rebounds, and five steals. 5-4 So. Skylar Collinsworth recorded five points.

Lydia Kennedy led Lexington Catholic with eight points, three rebounds, two blocked shots, and three steals. 5-9 So. Bella Bretz added four points and 10 rebounds.

Sidwell Friends Academy (DC) defeated Sacred Heart Academy by the score of 53-48. Sidwell Friends Academy (DC) shot 38.3% from the field including three of nine from the three point line. The Quakers connected on 14 of 18 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 21 Sacred Heart Academy turnovers. Sacred Heart Academy shot 31.3% from the field including two of 12 from beyond the arc. Brady Hussey connected on two free throws late in the game to give Covington Catholic a 60-59 victory over Lakota East. Covington Catholic led 40-25 in the third quarter but had to rally to earn the come-from-behind victory. The score was tied three times and there were six lead changes in the game. Covington Catholic shot 53.7% from the field including seven of 14 from the three point line. The Colonels connected on nine of 10 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 10 Lakota East turnovers. Lakota East shot 46% from the field including seven of 14 from beyond the arc. The Thunderhawks connected on six of 10 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 14 Covington Catholic turnovers.

Athens McGillis led Covington Catholic with 19 points including four of four free throws, and three steals. Cash Harney added 14 points including two three point baskets, eight assists, and four steals. Brady Hussey recorded 14 points including two three point baskets, and eight rebounds. Caden Miller chipped in with six points, six rebounds, nine blocked shots, and two steals. 6-2 Sr. Noah Johnson added six points on two three point baskets and two assists.

Corbin captured a big win on the road with a 66-63 victory over Franklin County. Corbin shot 42.6% from the field including nine of 21 from the three point line. The Lady Redhounds connected on 17 of 24 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and committed 12 turnovers. Franklin County shot 47.8% from the field including four of 16 from beyond the arc. The Lady Flyers connected on 15 of 24 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and committed 14 turnovers.

Kylie Clem led Corbin with 19 points including two three point baskets, three of four free throws, three rebounds, two assists, and three steals. Kallie Housley added 14 points including two three point baskets, three rebounds, four assists, and two steals. Bailey Stewart recorded 13 points including two three point baskets, and seven of eight free throws. 5-6 So. Great Crossing trailed Princeton 54-52 after three quarters but rallied to earn a 79-74 victory. The score was tied 11 times and there were 14 lead changes in this game. Great Crossing shot 58.5% from the field including two of nine from the three point line. The Warhawks connected on 15 of 20 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 14 Princeton turnovers. Princeton shot 53.7% from the field including 10 of 27 from beyond the arc. Lexington Christian Academy coach Tim Bradshaw started the following lineup: 5-6 Jr. Ella Gabbert, 5-6 So. Jenny Bertram, 5-9 8th Grade Koko Castle, 5-6 Jr. Chapel Brown, and 5-7 Jr. Claire Roberts. Berea coach Dammian Stepp countered with 5-7 Sr. Abigail Beard, 5-7 Sr. Sophie Brewer, 5-9 So. Kadence Stepp, 5-1 Sr. Maddy King, and 5-3 Sr. Miranda Thacker.

Lexington Christian Academy survived giving up a 10 point halftime lead, and an overtime period to defeat Berea 41-38 in overtime to capture the 11th Region title. Jenny Bertram hit two free throws down the stretch to ensure the victory. There were six lead chnges and four ties in this game. Lexington Christian Academy shot 37.5% from the field including five of 16 from the three point line. The Lady Eagles connected on six of 12 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored five points off three Berea turnovers. Berea shot 31.1% from the field including two of 13 from beyond the arc. The Lady Pirates connected on eight of 12 free throws, pulled down 21 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 13 LCA turnovers.

Koko Castle led Lexington Christian Academy with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Ella Gabbert added eight points on two three point baskets and five rebounds. Chapel Brown recorded eight points including two three point baskets, two rebounds, and four assists. Claire Roberts chipped in with seven points and eight rebounds. Jenny Bertram added four points, three rebounds, and two assists.

Abigail Beard led Berea with 12 points including five of six free throws, three rebounds, five assists, and three steals. Sophie Brewer added 10 points and three rebounds. Kadence Stepp recorded eight points and eight rebounds.

Bishop McNamara (MD) coach Ron James countered with 6-1 Sr. LaNae’ Corbett, 5-9 Jr, Vanessa Harris, 6-2 Jr. Zhen Craft, 5-7 Jr. Mary Amoateng, and 5-8 Sr. Madisen McDaniel.

Bishop McNamara defeated Sacred Heart Academy by the score of 66-60. Bishop McNamara took an early 22-9 lead but Sacred Heart rallied and led 52-51 after three quarters. However Bishop McNamara outscored the Valkyries 15-8 in the final quarter to earn the victory. There were four lead changes and four ties in this game. Bishop McNamara shot 47.1% from the field including six of 17 from the three point line. The Mustangs connected on 12 of 17 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 26 points off 22 Sacred Heart turnovers. Sacred Heart shot 42.6% from the field including five of 18 from beyond the arc. The Valkyries connected on 15 of 22 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 16 Bishop McNamara turnovers.

Madisen McDaniel led Bishop McNamara with 23 points including four of five free throws, four assists, and seven steals. Zhen Craft added 12 points, five rebounds, two assists, and two blocked shots. 5-7 Jr. Princess Moody recorded 11 points including three three point baskets, four rebounds, and three assists. 6-2 Fr. Qandace Samuels chipped in with nine points including two three point baskets, two blocked shots, and two steals. LaNae’ Corbett added eight points and three rebounds.

Lafayette coach Allison Denton countered with 5-8 Fr. Addison Combs, 5-8 Jr. Belle Combs, 5-10 Jr. Tess Nelson, 5-5 So. Anna Clay Denton, and 5-5 Jr. Abbey Popham.

Lafayette defeated Bath County by the score of 49-38. Lafayette shot 45.8% from the field including one of nine from the three point line. The Lady Generals connected on four of 11 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 15 Bath County turnovers. Bath County shot 26.5 % from the field including four of 14 from beyond the arc. The Lady Cats connected on eight of 12 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored five points off 12 Lafayette turnovers.

Belle Combs led Lafayette with 26 points and 11 rebounds. Abbey Popham added eight points, seven rebounds, and six assists. Tess Nelson recorded eight points, three rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Anna Clay Denton dished out eight assists.

Bayley French led Bath County with 15 points including two three point baskets, and five rebounds. Ashtyn Barrett added 10 points, eight rebounds, five assists, and three steals. Kyra Faried recorded four points and 12 rebounds.

Madison Central coach Scott True started the following lineup: 5-7 Sr. Eden Carter, 5-7 Jr. Brooke Campbell, 5-9 Jr. Cameryn Ridderikhoff, 5-4 So. Jordynn Miles, and 5-6 Jr. Nataya Strader. Scott County coach Steve Helton countered with 5-7 Jr. Maleiyah Moore, 5-7 Jr. Nmya Summers, 6-0 So. Kierstin Young, 5-7 Sr. Kaylen Perry, and 5-7 So. Dymon Percell.

Madison Central raced out to a 26-12 first quarter lead on their way to a 59-47 victory over Scott County. Madison Central shot 40.4% from the field including three of 11 from the three point line. The Lady Indians connected on 14 of 24 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 19 Scott County turnovers. Scott County shot 35.4% from the field including five of 16 from beyond the arc. The Lady Cardinals connected on eight of 13 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored six points off 12 Madison Central turnovers.

Nataya Strader led Madison Central with 28 points including five of eight free throws, five rebounds, and two assists. Cameryn Ridderikhoff added nine points, five rebounds, and two steals. Brooke Campbell recorded eight points including two three point baskets, eight rebounds, and two assists. Jordynn Miles chipped in with seven points and two rebounds. Eden Carter added five points, seven rebounds, and two steals. Brittany Campbell dished out five assists.

5-8 Jr. Allison Mosby led Scott County with 17 points including two three point baskets and seven rebounds. 5-8 So. Jessica Horn added 12 points and 10 rebounds. Maleiyah Moore recorded five points, two assists, and two steals. Dymon Percell chipped in with five points and two rebounds.
