DuPont Manual defeated Frederick Douglass 35-28 in overtime. Thos was a game of runs as Frederick Douglass took a 14-0 lead but Manual rallied to lead 28-14 before Frederick Douglass scored a late touchdown to force overtime. DuPont Manual got the ball first and took a 35-28 lead on a 10 yard run by Gerian Traynor and a conversion kick by Parker Friedman. Frederick Douglass then got the ball but Dupont Manual stopped them on fourth game to ensure the victory. DuPont Manual recorded 18 first downs and 313 yards of total offense. The Crimsons were penalized five times for 35 yards, lost three fumbles, and had two passes intercepted. Frederick Douglass recorded 10 first downs and 168 yards of total offense. Frederick Douglass was penalized 12 times for 209 yards and had a pass intercepted.

Gerian Traynor led DuPont Manual’s ground game with 94 yards and three touchdowns on 21 carries. Kaden Mack carried the ball seven times for 37 yards and a touchdown. Kaden Mack completed 13 of 21 passes for 187 yards and one touchdown with one interception. Brayland Miles caught five passes for 66 yards and a touchdown. Gerian Traynor added two receptions for 51 yards. W. Nofsinger recorded three receptions for 14 yards. W. Nofsinger returned two punts for 21 yards with a long return of 13 yards and returned three kickoffs for 43 yards with a long return of 17 yards. Rashad High returned one kickoff for 21 yards. Parker Friedman kicked off five times for a 56.4 average with four touchbacks. B. Underwood led the defense with five solo tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a one yard loss. Devin Allen added four solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling five yards. Cameron Jessee recorded four solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling six yards. Leron Brown intercepted a pass he returned 37 yards.

TayTay Allen led Frederick Douglass’ ground game with 33 yards on five carries. Dakari Talbert carried the ball 10 times for 27 yards. Jaxon Strautman completed eight of 27 passes for 91 yards and three touchdowns. Aveion Chenault caught six passes for 60 yards and three touchdowns. Dakari Talbert caught one pass for 32 yards. Aveion Chenault returned two punts for 50 yards with a long return of 27 yards and returned one kickoff for 13 yards. Cionne Conn led the defense with six solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling five yards. Kaden Clay added five solo and one assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totaling five yards. Logan Busson and Elie Mongengo each recorded five solo tackles. Keenan Banther, Jimmy Dick, and Jarod Suter each recovered a fumble. Aveion Chenault intercepted a pass he returned 33 yards. Marco Hill intercepted a pass he returned 55 yards for a touchdown.

Lexington Christian Academy defeated Pikeville 40-26 in a game that had a combined 897 yards of total offense for the two teams. Lexington Christian Academy recorded 24 first teams and 414 yards of total offen se. The Eagles were penalized four times for 21 yards. Pikeville recorded 19 first downs and 483 yards of total offense. The Panthers were penalized twice for 10 yards, lost a fumble, and had two passes intercepted.

Leland Edwards led LCA’s ground attack with 114 yards and three touchdowns on 15 carries. Mac Darland carried the ball eight times for 77 yards. Daven Hood recorded 52 yards on six carries. Saxton Howard completed nine of 16 passes for 166 yards and one touchdown. Tyler King caught six passes for 95 yards and one touchdown. Sam Pearson added two receptions for 60 yards. Saxton Howard returned two kickoffs for 46 yards with a long return of 43 yards. Sam Pearson returned two kickoffs for 35 yards with a long return of 26 yards. Hunter Adams led the defense with five solo and six assisted tackles. Thomas Sizemore added four solo and four assisted tackles. Mac Darland recorded three solo and three assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a seven yard loss. Daven Hood chipped in with two solo and five assisted tackles and intercepted a pass. Jeremiah Burbage also intercepted a pass and Hayes Preston scored on an 83 yard fumble recovery return.

Blake Caudill led Pikeville’s ground game with 66 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries. Jayden Justice carried the ball 14 times for 37 yards. Isaac Duty recorded 16 yards and a touchdown on six carries. Isaac Duty completed 18 of 27 passes for 364 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions. Mikey Hager caught nine passes for 168 yards and two touchdowns. Deonte Stevens added two receptions for 34 yards. Cole Slone recorded two receptions for 24 yards. Kingston Braxton caught one pass for 81 yards. Kingston Braxton returned one kickoff for 31 yards. Cole Slone returned two kickoffs for 29 yards with a long return of 16 yards. Jaydon Muncy led the defense with 13 solo and two assisted tackles. Jayden Justice added six solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling four yards. Deonte Stevens recorded five solo and one assisted tackles. Jeremiah Anderson added three solo and four assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling nine yards.

The Purples were penalized 10 times for 95 yards, lost a fumble, and had one pass intercepted. Bryan Station recorded 17 first downs and 357 yards of total offense. The Defenders were penalized 17 times for 128 yards and lost two fumbles.

Nick Reed led the Bowling Green ground game with 43 yards on eight carries. Jaxen Smith carried the ball seven times for 22 yards and a touchdown. Deuce Bailey completed 17 of 29 passes for 230 yards and three touchdowns with one interception. Trevy Barber caught seven passes for 116 yards and two touchdowns. Jaxen Smith added five receptions for 45 yards. Ethan Kirkwood recorded two receptions for 33 yards. Montravion Graham added two receptions for 33 yards and a touchdown. Ethan Warder returned one punt for eight yards and returned two kickoffs for 33 yards with a long return of 18 yards. Malik Coburn led the defense with five solo and four assisted tackles with four of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 45 yards and recovered a fumble. Great Crossing defeated Henry Clay by the score of 48-0. Great Crossing recorded 26 first downs and 452 yards of total offense. The Warhawks were penalized 10 times for 80 yards, lost two fumbles, and had one pass intercepted. Henry Clay recorded three first downs and 30 yards of total offense. The Blue Devils were penalized eight times for 95 yards, lost two fumbles, and had two passes intercepted.

Luke Ballard led Great Crossing’s ground game with 227 yards and four touchdowns on 26 carries. Jeremiah Clark added 64 yards and a touchdown on six carries. Cole Spradlin recorded 26 yards and a touchdown on seven carries. Clayton Shaddix chipped in with 22 yards on three carries. Jeremiah Clark completed six of 12 passes for 97 yards and one touchdown with one interception. Sam Penn completed his only pass for 22 yards. Hunter Moody caught four passes for 68 yards and a touchdown. Britton Persley and JaVontae Dean each caught one pass for 22 and 20 yards respectively. North Oldham’s offense was clicking on all cylinders as they rolled over Tates Creek by the score of 54-12. North Oldham recorded 30 first downs and 538 yards of total offense. The Mustangs were penalized four times for 67 yards and lost two fumbles. Tates Creek recorded 12 first downs and 214 yards of total offense. The Commodores were penalized nine times for 63 yards and had a pass intercepted.

Zachary Mortenson led North Oldham’s ground game with 88 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries. Kingston Dugan carried the ball 10 times for 63 yards and a touchdown. Colin Daniels recorded 35 yards on six carries. Colin Daniels completed 21 of 25 passes for 274 yards and four touchdowns. Kingston Dugan completed two of two passes for 59 yards and a touchdown. Conner defeated Lafayette by the score of 38-0. Conner recorded 20 first downs and 333 yards of total offense. The Cougars were penalized six times for 50 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted. Lafayette recorded seven first downs and 121 yards of total offense. The Generals were penalized four times for 20 yards and had a pass intercepted,

Wyatt Hatfield led Conner’s ground game with 102 yards and three touchdowns on 15 carries. Cordion Abernathy carried the ball 11 times for 57 yards and a touchdown. Sheppard Dozier added 44 yards and a touchdown on eight carries. Grayson Montgomery chipped in with 23 yards on two carries. Wyatt Hatfield completed three of nine passes for 65 yards with one interception. Grayson Montgomery completed two of three passes for 26 yards. Chase Caplinger caught two passes for 55 yards. Wyatt Hatfield added two receptions for 26 yards. Wyatt Hatfield returned four punts for 43 yards with a long return of 19 yards and returned one kickoff for 20 yards. Andrew Herron kicked off seven times with seven touchbacks. Dylan Stewart led the defense with two solo and three assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling five yards. Nathan Karwacki added two solo and two assisted tackles. Kannon Lawson also recorded two solo and two assisted tackles. Wyatt Hatfield intercepted a pass.

George Rogers Clark scored 22 unanswered points in the final quarter to earn a 43-35 come-from-behind victory over Belfry tonight. Zaydin Turner scored on a 20 yard pass from JD Mastin and Hayden Cockrell kicked the extra point to give George Rogers Clark a 37-35 lead with 4:39 left on the clock. Belfry took the ball and marched down the field to potentially score a TD on field goal to earn the win. Belfry’s drive stalled and when facing a third and 10 from GRC’s 19 yard line with seconds remaining Chase Varney’s pass in the end zone was intercepted by GRC’s Camahni Johnson who returned it 104 yards for a touchdown to ensure the victory.

George Roger Clark recorded 390 yards of total poffense and lost three fumbles. Belfry recorded 377 yards of total defense and had one pass intercepted.

Zaydin Turner led GRC’s ground attack with 121 yards on 14 carries. Sam Clements carried the ball six times for 16 yards. JD Mastin recorded 12 yards and two touchdowns on six carries. JD Mastin completed 11 of 20 passes for 226 yards and three touchdowns. Kamden McAlpin caught three passes for 81 yards. Camahni John added two receptions for 56 yards and a touchdown. Athias Morris recorded two receptions for 35 yards and a touchdown. Trey Davis chipped in with two receptions for 34 yards. Zaydin Turner recorded two receptions for 22 yards and a touchdown. Stryker Davidson led the defense with three solo and 10 assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses. Cole Ross added three solo and seven assisted tackles. Sam Clements recorded seven solo and two assisted tackles. Najee Harris chipped in with five solo and four assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses. Camahni John added four solo and three assisted tackles plus his TD interception return of 104 yards which proved to be the proverbial “dagger in the heart” for the Belfry Pirates.

JJ Austin led Belfry’s ground game with 175 yards and one touchdown on 16 carries. Dante Davis carried the ball nine times for 66 yards and a touchdown. JB Woolum recorded 49 yards and two touchdowns on nine carries. Hunter Hylton chipped in with 25 yards on four carries. Chase Varney completed nine of 16 passes for 56 yards with one interception. Eli Caudill caught two passes for 29 yards. Ace Caudill added three receptions for 19 yards and JB Woolum caught four passes for eight yards. Hunter Hylton led the defense with six solo and eight assisted tackles with two sacks and recovered a fumble. Keaton Deskins added four solo and six assisted tackles. Tyler Bond recorded two solo and six assisted tackles. JJ Austin chipped in with one solo and four assisted tackles and recovered a fumble. Eli Caudill also recovered a fumble.

Bell County rallied in the second half to defeat Boyd County 36-31 in a real nail biter. Blake Burnett scored on a one yard run to give Bell County a 36-31 lead with 1:30 left in the game which was the Bobcats only lead of the game. However Boyd County refused to give up without a fight and appeared to be a mere yard away from victory on a 42 yard pass play to the Bell County one yard line. However Lady Luck smiled on the Bobcats as the play was called back due to a penalty and Bell County’s defense closed out the game for the victory. Bell County recorded 25 first downs and 443 yards of total offense. The Bobcats were penalized twice for 20 yards and had a pass intercepted. Boyd County recorded 15 first downs and 346 yards of total offense. The Lions were penalized nine times for 71 yards.

Kaleb Miller led Bell County’s ground game with 191 yards and four touchdowns on 31 carries. Hunter Everage carried the ball 10 times for 58 yards. James Neal recorded 32 yards on eight carries. Bleke Burnett chipped in with 29 yards and a touchdown on seven carries. Blake Burnett completed seven of 12 passes for 127 yards with one interception. Joseph Brigmon caught two passes for 70 yards. Blake Evans added two receptions for 33 yards. Kaleb Miller caught one pass for 14 yards. Hunter Everage led the defense with eight solo and one assisted tackles. Joseph Brigmon added six solo and two assisted tackles. Logan Greene recorded five solo and one assisted tackles. Hayden Dameron recorded four solo and one assisted tackles and recorded two sacks.

Rhett Holbrook led Boyd County’s ground game with 38 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries. Erik Germann added 14 yards and one touchdown on two carries. Hunter Hedrick recorded 13 yards on three carries. Brody Castle chipped in with 11 yards on two carries. Rhett Holbrook completed 18 of 31 passes for 270 yards and two touchdowns. Thomas Crawford caught three passes for 82 yards and two touchdowns. Cole Hicks added five receptions for 69 yards. Brody Castle recorded four receptions for 56 yards. Erik Germann led the defense with 11 solo and nine assisted tackles. Brody Castle added nine solo and seven assisted tackles. Nate Manning recorded one solo and seven assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in lost yardage. John Jackson chipped in with five solo and three assisted tackles. Hunter Hedrick added three solo and four assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in lost yardage. Taryn Tackett recorded four solo and two assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in lost yardage.

Highlands rebounded from a 14-0 first quarter deficit behind a punishing ground attack to defeat Covington Catholic by the score of 32-22. Highland attack was fueled by a great effort by their talented offensive line. Highlands recorded 20 first downs and 373 yards of total offense. The Blueburds were penalized once for 15 yards, lost a fumble, and had two passes intercepted. Covington Catholic recorded 14 first downs and 371 yards of total offense. The Colonels were penalized once for 15 yards and had a pass intercepted.

Jack White led Highlands’ ground game with 148 yards and a touchdown on 24 carries. Gabe Williams carried the ball five times for 67 yards and a touchdown. Rio Litmer recorded 26 yards and a touchdown on six carries. Deven James carried the ball six times for 27 yards. Adam Surrey chipped in with 22 yards and a touchdown on three carries. Rio Litmer completed eight of 12 passes for 83 yards with two interceptions. Adam Surrey caught five passes for 46 yards. Tyus McCarter, Ian Garrahan, and Dominic Gregory each caught one pass for 16, 11, and 10 yards respectively. Gabe Williams returned one kickoff for 22 yards. Peyton Klosterman returned one kickoff for 16 yards. Adam Surrey returned two kickoffs for 16 yards. Tyus McCarter and Ethan Grimm led the defense with five solo and two assisted tackles each. Cash Harney led Covington Catholic’s ground game with 152 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries. Dylan Gaiser carried the ball 13 times for 37 yards. Cash Harney completed nine of 17 passes for 163 yards and one touchdown with one interception. Dylan Gaiser caught five passes for 43 yards. Nicholas Krallman caught a 75 yard touchdown pass. Tate Kruer added two receptions for 38 yards. Dylan Gaiser returned two kickoffs for 59 yards. Zach Brooks returned two kickoffs for 56 yards. Brady Guard led the defense with 11 solo and two assisted tackles. Andrew Bessler added 10 solo tackles. Tate Kruer recorded seven solo and three assisted tackles. Franklin County defeated Lexington Christian Academy by the score of 39-33. Franklin County recorded 17 first downs and 356 yards of total offense. The Flyers were penalized twice for 27 yards and lost a fumble. Lexington Christian Academy recorded 20 first downs and 382 yards of total offense. The Eagles were penalized four times for 40 yards and lost a fumble.

Christian Moore led Franklin County’s ground game with 148 yards and five touchdowns on 21 carries. Delano Collins added 101 yards on 10 carries. Carter Richardson completed six of eight passes for 93 yards. Jacob Taylor caught two passes for 17 yards. Delano Collins, Luke Toothaker, and Christian Moore each caught one pass for 30, 24, and 20 yards respectively. Juice Robinson returned one kickoff for 77 yards. Hunter Gotshall returned one kickoff for 15 yards. Easton Powell kicked off six times with six touchbacks, kicked four extra points, and added a 37 yard field goal. Kaden Campbell led the defense with six solo and three assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a three yard loss. Jacob Olds added five solo and five assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses titaling five yards. Saxton Howard led Lexington Christian Academy’s ground game with 100 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries. Leland Edwards carried the ball 14 times for 98 yards and two touchdowns. Paxton Gray recorded 38 yards on eight carries. Mac Darland chipped in with 26 yards on eight carries. Saxton Howard completed 12 of 15 passes for 120 yards and one touchdown. Sam Pearson caught four passes for 23 yards. Tyler King added three receptions for 50 yards and a touchdown. Paxton Gray recorded two receptions for 37 yards.
