Collins defeated Paul Laurence Dunbar 35-0 in a running clock shutout. Collins QB Kade Goodin a dual threat proved to be to much for the Dunbar defense as he accounted for all five Collins touchdowns and recorded all his statistics in the first half and set out after intermission. Collins recorded 14 first downs and 328 yards of total offense. The Titans were penalized seven times for 60 yards. Paul Laurence Dunbar recorded six first downs and 115 yards of total offense. The Bulldogs were penalized eight times for 55 yards, lost two fumbles, and had four passes intercepted.

Kade Goodin led Collins ground game with 112 yards and three touchdowns on 11 carries. Marcus Stoner carried the ball nine times for 39 yards. Aviyan Delaney recorded 32 yards on three carries. Kade Goodin completed nine of 12 passes for 122 yards and two touchdowns. Quinten Wooten caught two passes for 60 yards and a touchdown. Jason Hence added two receptions for 29 yards. Joshua Lainhart recorded two catches for 15 yards. Logan Huelsman caught a four yard touchdown reception. Dajari Hardy returned two kickoffs for 58 yards with a long return of 39 yards. A’Davion Dale led the defense with three solo and one assisted tackles and intercepted a pass. Marcus Stoner added two solo and two assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling two yards. Debry Larrison recorded three solo tackles. Dajari Hardy recovered a fumble and intercepted two passes with 18 yards of return yardage. Carter James intercepted a pass he returned for 14 yards. Wyatt Shafer recovered a fumble and recorded a safety.

Pacifique Nduwayo led Paul Laurence Dunbar’s ground game with 40 yards on eight carries. Steven Estepp completed five of 11 passes for 52 yards with three interceptions. Jett Derringer completed one of two passes for 28 yards with one interception. Jayshawn Crosby caught three passes for 34 yards. Conner Norsworthy added two receptions for 18 yards. Dominic Faulkner recorded one reception for 28 yards. Dominic Faulkner returned two kickoffs for 57 yards with a long return of 36 yards. Jayshawn Crosby returned two kickoffs for 41 yards with a long return 21 yards. Grayson Rogers led the defense with one solo and three assisted tackles. Moses Mafuta added three solo tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a one yard loss. Anthony Flynn recorded two solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a seven yard loss. Pacifique Nduwayo chipped in with two solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a four yard loss.

Covington Catholic utilized a punishing ground game and a ballhawking defense to defeat Simon Kenton by the score of 42-3. Covington Catholic recorded 23 first downs and 516 yards of total offense. The Colonels were penalized five times for 43 yards. Simon Kenton recorded 15 first downs and 261 yards of total offense. The Pioneers were penalized five times for 35 yards and had four passes intercepted.

Dylan Gaiser led Covington Catholic’s ground game with 210 yards and three touchdowns on 14 carries. Cash Harney carried the ball eight times for 126 yards. Andrew Bessler recorded 38 yards and two touchdowns on six carries. Cash Harney completed nine of 16 passes for 108 yards and one touchdown. Zach Brooks caught three passes for 40 yards. Dylan Gaiser added one reception for 31 yards. Owen Pitzer recorded an eight yard touchdown reception. Zach Brooks and Dylan Gaiser each returned one kickoff for 18 and 10 yards respectively. Nicholas Krallman and Andrew Bessler led the defense with six solo tackles each. Dylan Gaiser added five solo tackles. Jackson Payne recorded two solo and three assisted tackles. Zach Brooks, Tate Kruer, Henry Atkins, and Brady Guard each recorded an interception.

Torin Turner led Simon Kenton’s ground game with 22 yards on five carries. Landon Brown carried the ball twice for 18 yards. Brady Lee completed 16 of 27 passes for 216 yards with four interceptions. Grayson Harris caught 10 passes for 162 yards. Tyson Weaver added two receptions for 13 yards. Torin Turner caught two passes for 12 yards. Jackson Miller added one catch for 18 yards. Aven Bohms led the defense with seven solo and four assisted tackles. Tucker Ober added six solo and seven assisted tackles. Brayden Schoborg recorded six solo and two assisted tackles. Scott County defeated Urban Prep-Bronzeville/Urban Prep-Englewood (IL) by the score of 48-6 to put one in the win column after suffering two consecutive losses to start the season. Scott County recorded 13 first downs and 245 yards of total offense. The Cardinals were penalized four times for 25 yards. Urban Prep recorded 10 first downs and 137 yards of total offense. The Lions were penalized four times for 34 yards, lost a fumble and had a pass intercepted.

Kayne Garrett led Scott County’s ground game with 73 yards and a touchdown on four carries. Skyler Way carried the ball five times for 35 yards and a touchdown. Jayden Garrett recorded 27 yards on two carries. Timmy Emongo chipped in with 24 yards and two touchdowns on two carries. Ian Keeth carried the ball four times for 22 yards and a touchdown. Andrew Hickey completed two of three passes for 15 yards and two touchdowns. Charlie Ellison completed his only pass for 25 yards. Ryson Baker caught one pass for 25 yards. Eli Lilly caught one pass for 13 yards and a touchdown. Issac York caught one pass for two yards and a touchdown. DuPont Manual defeated Frederick Douglass 35-28 in overtime. Thos was a game of runs as Frederick Douglass took a 14-0 lead but Manual rallied to lead 28-14 before Frederick Douglass scored a late touchdown to force overtime. DuPont Manual got the ball first and took a 35-28 lead on a 10 yard run by Gerian Traynor and a conversion kick by Parker Friedman. Frederick Douglass then got the ball but Dupont Manual stopped them on fourth game to ensure the victory. DuPont Manual recorded 18 first downs and 313 yards of total offense. The Crimsons were penalized five times for 35 yards, lost three fumbles, and had two passes intercepted. Frederick Douglass recorded 10 first downs and 168 yards of total offense. Frederick Douglass was penalized 12 times for 209 yards and had a pass intercepted.

Gerian Traynor led DuPont Manual’s ground game with 94 yards and three touchdowns on 21 carries. Kaden Mack carried the ball seven times for 37 yards and a touchdown. Kaden Mack completed 13 of 21 passes for 187 yards and one touchdown with one interception. Brayland Miles caught five passes for 66 yards and a touchdown. Gerian Traynor added two receptions for 51 yards. W. Nofsinger recorded three receptions for 14 yards. W. Nofsinger returned two punts for 21 yards with a long return of 13 yards and returned three kickoffs for 43 yards with a long return of 17 yards. Rashad High returned one kickoff for 21 yards. Parker Friedman kicked off five times for a 56.4 average with four touchbacks. B. Underwood led the defense with five solo tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a one yard loss. Devin Allen added four solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling five yards. Cameron Jessee recorded four solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling six yards. Leron Brown intercepted a pass he returned 37 yards.

TayTay Allen led Frederick Douglass’ ground game with 33 yards on five carries. Dakari Talbert carried the ball 10 times for 27 yards. Jaxon Strautman completed eight of 27 passes for 91 yards and three touchdowns. Aveion Chenault caught six passes for 60 yards and three touchdowns. Dakari Talbert caught one pass for 32 yards. Aveion Chenault returned two punts for 50 yards with a long return of 27 yards and returned one kickoff for 13 yards. Cionne Conn led the defense with six solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling five yards. Kaden Clay added five solo and one assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totaling five yards. Logan Busson and Elie Mongengo each recorded five solo tackles. Keenan Banther, Jimmy Dick, and Jarod Suter each recovered a fumble. Aveion Chenault intercepted a pass he returned 33 yards. Marco Hill intercepted a pass he returned 55 yards for a touchdown.

Lexington Christian Academy recorded 24 first teams and 414 yards of total offen se. The Eagles were penalized four times for 21 yards. Pikeville recorded 19 first downs and 483 yards of total offense. The Panthers were penalized twice for 10 yards, lost a fumble, and had two passes intercepted.

Leland Edwards led LCA’s ground attack with 114 yards and three touchdowns on 15 carries. Mac Darland carried the ball eight times for 77 yards. Daven Hood recorded 52 yards on six carries. Saxton Howard completed nine of 16 passes for 166 yards and one touchdown. Tyler King caught six passes for 95 yards and one touchdown. Sam Pearson added two receptions for 60 yards. Saxton Howard returned two kickoffs for 46 yards with a long return of 43 yards. Sam Pearson returned two kickoffs for 35 yards with a long return of 26 yards. Hunter Adams led the defense with five solo and six assisted tackles. Thomas Sizemore added four solo and four assisted tackles. Mac Darland recorded three solo and three assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a seven yard loss. Bowling Green defeated Bryan Station by the score of 38-22. Bowling Green recorded 13 first downs and 302 yards of total offense. The Purples were penalized 10 times for 95 yards, lost a fumble, and had one pass intercepted. Bryan Station recorded 17 first downs and 357 yards of total offense. The Defenders were penalized 17 times for 128 yards and lost two fumbles.

Nick Reed led the Bowling Green ground game with 43 yards on eight carries. Jaxen Smith carried the ball seven times for 22 yards and a touchdown. Deuce Bailey completed 17 of 29 passes for 230 yards and three touchdowns with one interception. Trevy Barber caught seven passes for 116 yards and two touchdowns. Jaxen Smith added five receptions for 45 yards. Ethan Kirkwood recorded two receptions for 33 yards. Montravion Graham added two receptions for 33 yards and a touchdown. Ethan Warder returned one punt for eight yards and returned two kickoffs for 33 yards with a long return of 18 yards. Malik Coburn led the defense with five solo and four assisted tackles with four of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 45 yards and recovered a fumble. Montrez Trussell added five solo and three assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 10 yards. Grayson Newman recorded five solo and one assisted tackles. Taiyon Parker scored on an 18 yard fumble recovery return.

Kalen Washington led Bryan Station’s ground game with 107 yards on 16 carries. James Davis carried the ball 20 times for 32 yards. James Davis completed nine of 29 passes for 226 yards and three touchdowns. Kalen Washington caught two passes for 93 yards and a touchdown. Jordan Haskins added two receptions for 71 yards and a touchdown. Tayshaun Adams recorded one reception for 44 yards and a touchdown. Demond Green returned one punt for six yards and one kickoff for 16 yards. Jordan Haskins returned two kickoffs for 58 yards with a long return of 33 yards. Jordan Haskins led the defense with five solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a five yard loss and intercepted a pass he returned five yards. Fon Brunley added five solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 17 yards and recovered a fumble. Taeandre Clark also recorded five solo tackles. Kaleb Bailey chipped in with three solo and five assisted tackles.

Great Crossing defeated Henry Clay by the score of 48-0. Great Crossing recorded 26 first downs and 452 yards of total offense. The Warhawks were penalized 10 times for 80 yards, lost two fumbles, and had one pass intercepted. Henry Clay recorded three first downs and 30 yards of total offense. The Blue Devils were penalized eight times for 95 yards, lost two fumbles, and had two passes intercepted.

Luke Ballard led Great Crossing’s ground game with 227 yards and four touchdowns on 26 carries. Jeremiah Clark added 64 yards and a touchdown on six carries. Cole Spradlin recorded 26 yards and a touchdown on seven carries. Clayton Shaddix chipped in with 22 yards on three carries. Jeremiah Clark completed six of 12 passes for 97 yards and one touchdown with one interception. Sam Penn completed his only pass for 22 yards. Hunter Moody caught four passes for 68 yards and a touchdown. Britton Persley and JaVontae Dean each caught one pass for 22 and 20 yards respectively. Clayton Shaddix returned one kickoff for 15 yards. Wyatt Highly led the defense with six solo and four assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling two yards. Logan Clayton added four solo and two assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a four yard loss and recovered two fumbles. Carson Kidwell recorded three solo and two assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 14 yards. Jacob Johnson intercepted one pass he returned for 16 yards. Trey Campbell also intercepted a pass.

Patrick Beya led Henry Clay’s ground game with 14 yards on 11 carries. F. Niyonyishu added 10 yards on five carries. Rohan Taylor completed five of 15 passes for 22 yards with two interceptions. Liam Marrs completed his only pass for 10 yards. Antoine Webb caught three passes for 14 yards. Charlie Pennell added one reception for 10 yards. Antoine Webb returned five kickoffs for 100 yards with a long return of 31 yards. Henry Morgan and Luke Helgerson each recorded four solo and three assisted tackles to lead the defense. Luke DiNardo added four solo tackles. J. Mangwele and Charlie Pennell each recovered a fumble and S. Brooks Davis intercepted a pass.

North Oldham’s offense was clicking on all cylinders as they rolled over Tates Creek by the score of 54-12. North Oldham recorded 30 first downs and 538 yards of total offense. The Mustangs were penalized four times for 67 yards and lost two fumbles. Tates Creek recorded 12 first downs and 214 yards of total offense. The Commodores were penalized nine times for 63 yards and had a pass intercepted.

Zachary Mortenson led North Oldham’s ground game with 88 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries. Kingston Dugan carried the ball 10 times for 63 yards and a touchdown. Colin Daniels recorded 35 yards on six carries. Colin Daniels completed 21 of 25 passes for 274 yards and four touchdowns. Kingston Dugan completed two of two passes for 59 yards and a touchdown. Gray Schmittel caught eight passes for 114 yards and four touchdowns. Lucas Tompkins added four receptions for 78 yards and a touchdown. Conner Nesmith recorded three receptions for 85 yards. George Rogers Clark scored 22 unanswered points in the final quarter to earn a 43-35 come-from-behind victory over Belfry tonight. Zaydin Turner scored on a 20 yard pass from JD Mastin and Hayden Cockrell kicked the extra point to give George Rogers Clark a 37-35 lead with 4:39 left on the clock. Belfry took the ball and marched down the field to potentially score a TD on field goal to earn the win. Belfry’s drive stalled and when facing a third and 10 from GRC’s 19 yard line with seconds remaining Chase Varney’s pass in the end zone was intercepted by GRC’s Camahni Johnson who returned it 104 yards for a touchdown to ensure the victory.

George Roger Clark recorded 390 yards of total poffense and lost three fumbles. Belfry recorded 377 yards of total defense and had one pass intercepted.

Zaydin Turner led GRC’s ground attack with 121 yards on 14 carries. Sam Clements carried the ball six times for 16 yards. JD Mastin recorded 12 yards and two touchdowns on six carries. JD Mastin completed 11 of 20 passes for 226 yards and three touchdowns. Kamden McAlpin caught three passes for 81 yards. Camahni John added two receptions for 56 yards and a touchdown. Athias Morris recorded two receptions for 35 yards and a touchdown. Trey Davis chipped in with two receptions for 34 yards. Zaydin Turner recorded two receptions for 22 yards and a touchdown. Stryker Davidson led the defense with three solo and 10 assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses. Cole Ross added three solo and seven assisted tackles. Sam Clements recorded seven solo and two assisted tackles. Najee Harris chipped in with five solo and four assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses. Camahni John added four solo and three assisted tackles plus his TD interception return of 104 yards which proved to be the proverbial “dagger in the heart” for the Belfry Pirates.

JJ Austin led Belfry’s ground game with 175 yards and one touchdown on 16 carries. Dante Davis carried the ball nine times for 66 yards and a touchdown. JB Woolum recorded 49 yards and two touchdowns on nine carries. Hunter Hylton chipped in with 25 yards on four carries. Chase Varney completed nine of 16 passes for 56 yards with one interception. Eli Caudill caught two passes for 29 yards. Ace Caudill added three receptions for 19 yards and JB Woolum caught four passes for eight yards. Hunter Hylton led the defense with six solo and eight assisted tackles with two sacks and recovered a fumble. Keaton Deskins added four solo and six assisted tackles. Tyler Bond recorded two solo and six assisted tackles. JJ Austin chipped in with one solo and four assisted tackles and recovered a fumble. Eli Caudill also recovered a fumble.
