Covington Catholic pulled away in the second half to defeat Dixie Heights by the score of 47-28. Covington Catholic recorded 15 first downs and 402 yards of total offense. The Colonels were penalized four times for eight yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted. Dixie Heights recorded 13 first downs and 387 yards of total offense. The Colonels were penalized seven times for 57 yards and had one pass intercepted.

Cash Harney led Covington Catholic’s ground game with 173 yards and four touchdowns on seven carries. Dylan Gaiser carried the ball 19 times for 112 yards and a touchdown. Cash Harney completed six of nine passes for 110 yards and one touchdown with one interception. Donovan Bradshaw caught four passes for 51 yards and a touchdown. Dylan Gaiser added three receptions for 23 yards. Zach Brooks caught two passes for 13 yards. Zach Brooks returned one kickoff for 91 yards and a touchdown. Dylan Gaiser returned four kickoffs for 68 yards. Tate Kruer led the defense with seven solo and two assisted tackles. Brady Guard added five solo and three assisted tackles. Nicholas Krallman recorded four solo and one assisted tackles and recorded two sacks. Owen Pitzer chipped in with three solo and three assisted tackles. Zach Brooks added two solo and one assisted tackles and intercepted a pass.

Armani Gregg led Dixie Height’s ground game with 214 yards and three touchdowns on 22 carries. David Anderson carried the ball three times for 25 yards. JJ Kriger carried the ball once for 21 yards. Mason Fields completed 11 of 19 passes for 93 yards with one interception. Armani Gregg completed his only pass for 20 yards and a touchdown. David Anderson caught four passes for 53 yards. Duncan Linville added two receptions for 15 yards. JJ Kriger caught three passes for 14 yards. Leo Wogenstahl caught a 20 yard touchdown pass. JJ Kriger returned one punt for 11 yards and two kickoff returns for 21 yards. Armani Gregg returned three kickoffs for 70 yards. Tyler Morehead led the defense with solo tackles. Max Neal and Ben London each recorded four solo tackles. Carson Hehman recovered a fumble and TJ Gray intercepted a pass.

Ballard recorded 12 first downs and 211 yards of total offense. The Bruins were penalized four times for 25 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

Kalen Washington led Bryan Station’s ground game with 128 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries. Taeandre Clark carried the ball once for eight yards. James Davis completed 12 of 18 passes for 144 yards and a touchdown. Montae Ashford caught four passes for 62 yards. Taeshawn Adams added three receptions for 44 yards. Jordan Haskins caught a five yard touchdown reception. John Hannan kicked two extra points, kicked a 24 yard field goal, punted twice for a 40 yard average, and kicked off four times for a 59.0 average with three touchbacks. Demond Green returned one kickoff for 30 yards. Taeandre Clark led the defense with five solo and two assisted tackles. Keelan Adams added four solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a four yard loss. Jordan Haskins recorded two solo and four assisted tackles, recovered a fumble, and intercepted a pass he returned 19 yards.

Larry Irvin led Ballard’s ground game with 68 yards on eight carries. L. Hockersmith carried the ball 15 times for 65 yards and a touchdown. Will Elliott recorded 31 yards on seven carries. Larry Irvbin completed six of 12 passes for 43 yards with one interception. Will Elliott caught two passes for eight yards. David Jordan caught one pass for 17 yards. Jayden Barnes and L. Hockersmith each caught one pass for 11 yards. Leondre Martin returned one kickoff for 22 yards. A. Atkinson led the defense with seven solo and two assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a two yard loss. Javeon Jones added five solo and two assisted tackles with four of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 12 yards. Nolan Flores recorded four solo and three assisted tackles. L. Talbert recovered a fumble he returned 17 yards.

Boyle County defeated Scott County by the score of 56-26. The Rebels came up big tonight on both sides of the ball. Boyle County recorded 14 first downs and 337 yards of total offense. The Rebels were penalized 12 times for 93 yards and had a pass intercepted. Scott County recorded 18 first downs and 347 yards of total offense. The Cardinals were penalized five times for 32 yards, lost two fumbles, and had a pass intercepted.

DeMauriah Brown led Boyle County’s ground game with 49 yards and a touchdown on nine carries. Montavin Quisenberry carried the ball twice for 45 yards and a touchdown. Baylor Murphy completed 12 of 18 passes for 216 yards and four touchdowns. Guy Turner completed three off five passes for 21 yards. Montavin Quisenberry caught five passes for 115 yards and one touchdown. Seneca Driver added four receptions for 65 yards and two touchdowns. Geordon Brown recorded two receptions for 18 yards. Maddox Hager caught a 26 yard touchdown reception. Jaysia Richards returned two kickoffs for 35 yards with a long return of 28 yards. Bryce Bullock led the defense with four solo and eight assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in an eight yard loss. Brock Driver added five solo and two assisted tackles and scored on a 15 yard fumble recovery return. Gage Feltner chipped in with four solo and two assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 14 yards. Jax Crowe added four solo and two assisted tackles. Jaysia Richards recorded four solo tackles, scored on a 20 yard fumble recovery return, and intercepted a pass he returned two yards.

Jayden Garrett led Scott County’s ground game with 70 yards on 11 carries. Kayne Garrett carried the ball 11 times for 65 yards. Timmy Emongo recorded 52 yards on seven carries. Nick Ranson chipped in with 51 yards on two carries. Jackson Damron carried the ball nine times for 40 yards and a touchdown. Eli Lilly carried the ball once for 10 yards and a touchdown. Andrew Hickey carried the ball eight times and scored two touchdowns. Andrew Hickey completed one of five passes for 33 yards with one interception. Charlie Ellison completed his only pass for 20 yards. Isaac York and Brayden Carter each caught one pass for 33 and 20 yards respectively. DeSales scored a late touchdown to earn a come-from-behind 17-14 victory over Lafayette. DeSales recorded 21 first downs and 364 yards of total offense. The Colts were penalized seven times for 40 yards and had a pass intercepted. Lafayette recorded 11 first downs and 216 yards of total offense. The Generals were penalized four times for 23 yards and had one pass intercepted.

K. Merritt led DeSales’ ground game with 113 yards on 15 carries. Levi Riordan carried the ball eight times for 43 yards. C. Bischoff completed 21 of 35 passes for 214 yards and two touchdowns with one interception. DaVon Martin caught seven passes for 71 yards and a touchdown. K. Merritt added six catches for 58 yards. Silas Jones recorded four catches for 32 yards and a touchdown. Brandon Malone returned two kickoffs for 48 yards with a long return of 36 yards. Silas Jones led the defense with six solo tackles. Desmond Richards and Levi Riordan each recorded five solo tackles with two of Richard’s tackles resulting in losses totaling three yards. DaVon Martin intercepted a pass he returned for 13 yards.

JJ Richardson led Lafayette’s ground game with 37 yards on 11 carries. Ransom Payton carried the ball seven times for 35 yards. Ransom Payton completed 11 of 20 passes for 141 yards and a touchdown with one interception. Jackson Grantz caught four passes for 86 yards and a touchdown. Triston Taylor caught four passes for 35 yards. C. Giannone returned one kickoff for 21 yards. J. Stephens returned one kickoff for 18 yards. Matthew Hardin led the defense with eight solo and two assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a seven yard loss. C. Lexington Christian Academy recorded 23 first downs and 460 yards of total offense. The Eagles were penalized three times for 39 yards and had a pass intercepted. Christian Academy of Louisville recorded 27 first downs and 618 yards of total offense. The Centurions were penalized nine times for 77 yards, lost a fumble, and had two passes intercepted.

Leland Edwards led the LCA ground game with 173 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries. Saxton Howard carried the ball 11 times for 91 yards and three touchdowns. Mac Darland carried the ball five times for 49 yards. Saxton Howard completed four of five passes for 97 yards and one touchdown with one interception. Tyler King caught two passes for 40 yards. Sam Pearson caught one pass for 66 yards and a touchdown. Paxton Gray returned four kickoffs for 67 yards with a long return of 21 yards. Jeremiah Burbage chipped in with four solo and one assisted tackles. Sam Pearson recorded four solo and one assisted tackles and intercepted a pass he returned five yards. Hayes Preston recovered a fumble.

Garyon Hobbs led CAL’s ground game with 78 yards on six carries. Connor Hodge added 38 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries. Connor Hodge completed 35 of 51 passes for 495 yards and four touchdowns with two interceptions. Darwin Cotton caught 15 passes for 250 yards and three touchdowns. JaHyde Brown added nine receptions for 57 yards. Bryce Wilson recorded five catches for 52 yards. Garyon Hobbs added three receptions for 26 yards. George Rogers Clark defeated Henry Clay by the score of 50-7 in a game in which the Cardinals played a lot of players as they reached the running clock number before halftime. George Rogers Clark recorded 15 first downs and 326 yards of total offense. The Cardinals were penalized 10 times for 91 yards. Henry Clay recorded six first downs and 118 yards of total offense. The Blue Devils were penalized twice for 20 yards and had one pass intercepted.

Carter Muzic led George Roger Clark’s grond game with 30 yards on four carries. Zaydin Turner carried the ball three times for 22 yards and a touchdown. JD Mastin recorded 21 yards on three carries. Frederick Douglass’ quick strike big play capabilities proved to much for Tates Creek tonight as the Broncos earned a 50-14 victory on the road. Frederick Douglass recorded 17 first downs and 446 yards of total offense. The Broncos were penalized 10 times for 127 yards. Tates Creek recorded 13 first downs and 233 yards of total offense. The Commodores were penalized four times for 29 yards and had a pass intercepted.

Dakari Talbert led the Frederick Douglass ground game with 73 yards and a touchdown on one carry. Jaxon Strautman added 64 yards on four carries. Jeremiah Turner recorded 46 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries. Pharo Watts chipped in with 37 yards and a touchdown on six carries. Peyton Smith carried the ball five times for 33 yards and a touchdown. Jaxon Strautman completed five of 10 passes for 141 yards and two touchdowns. Dakari Talbert caught one pass for 86 yards and a touchdown. Pharo Watts added one reception for 27 yards and a touchdown. Marcus Newcomb added two solo and one assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 12 yards.

Luke Cooper caught seven passes for 72 yards. JT Cooper added five receptions for 69 yards and a touchdown. Marquis Hale recorded one reception for 29 yards. Marquis Hale returned three kickoffs for 48 yards with a long return of 18 yards. Skylar Clay returned one kickoff for 12 yards. Lazarey Warren led the defense with five solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling three yards. Johnson Central defeated Belfry 48-41 in another exciting battle in the mountains. Johnson Central’s Zack McCoart scored on a three yard run and Cory Hammond kicked the extra point with 45 seconds remaining in the game and Zack McCoart picked off a pass to stop Belfry’s final opportunity. Johnson Central recorded 458 yards of total offense and lost two fumbles. Belfry recorded 444 yards, lost two fumbles, and had a pass intercepted.

Zack McCoart led Johnson Central’s ground attack with 183 yards and three touchdowns on 20 carries. Logan Music carried the ball 15 times for 101 yards and one touchdown. Austin Slone recorded 81 yards and a touchdown on five carries. Logan Marrow added 54 yards on two touchdowns on 12 carries. Austin Slone completed his only pass for 31 yards. Gabe Conley caught one pass for 31 yards. Dalton Matney added the defense with 12 solo and five assisted tackles. Dylan LeMaster added seven solo and seven assisted tackles and recovered a fumble. Caleb Barnes resorded eifgr solo and four assisted tackles and recovered a fumble. Seth Davis chipped in with four solo and three assisted tackles. Braxton Perry recorded six solo and one assisted tackles. Zack McCoart recorded an interception.
