Scott County pulled away in the second half to defeat Collins by the score of 41-23. Scott County recorded 16 first downs and 335 yards of total offense. The Cardinals were penalized 15 times for 140 yards. Collins recorded 25 first downs and 411 yards of total offense. The Titans were penalized 11 times for 67 yards, and had three passes intercepted.

Ali Hamdiyah led Scott County’s ground game with 95 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries. Jackson Damron added 89 yards and a touchdown on seven carries. Kayne Garrett recorded 73 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries. Timmy Emongo chipped in with 20 yards and a touchdown on four carries. Andrew Hickey completed two of three passes for 56 yards. Eli Lilly caught one pass for 41 yards. R. Thompson added one reception for 15 yards. Kayne Garrett returned one punt for 17 yards. Timmy Emongo returned one kickoff for 82 yards and a touchdown. Asher Brewer led the defense with five solo and two assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a one yard loss and intercepted two passes with 24 return yards. Jackson Damron added five solo and one assisted tackles. R. Thompson recorded four solo and two assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a three yard loss. Eli Lilly chipped in with four solo tackles. Colt Fields intercepted a pass.

Kade Goodin led the ground game with 115 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries. Kade Goodin completed 25 of 49 passes for 278 yards and two touchdowns with three interceptions. Logan Huelsman caught seven passes for 72 yards. Quitten Wooten added six receptions fo 90 yards. DaJari Hardy recorded four receptions for 29 yards and a touchdown. Aviyan Delaney chipped in with three receptions for 30 yards. Jason Hence caught three passes for 19 yards and a touchdown. DaJari Hardy returned three kickoffs for 52 yards with a long return of 21 yards. Zaiden Baker returned one kickoff for 19 yards. Clay England led the defense with four solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a four yard loss. Shia Gazaway added three solo and three assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a three yard loss. DaJari Hardy recorded four solo tackles.

Lafayette defeated Moore by the score of 16-6. Lafayette recorded 13 first downs and 191 yards of total offense. The Generals were penalized six times for 47 yards. Lost s fumbe, and had a pass intercepted. Moore recorded seven first downs and 84 yards of total offense. They were penalized 11 times for 73 yards.

CJ Young led Lafayette’s ground game with 52 yards on 11 carries. JJ Richardson carried the ball 11 times for 34 yards. Ranson Payton recorded 19 yards an da touchdown on four carries. Ranson Payton completed 12 of 20 passes for 98 yards and one touchdown with one interception. Triston Taylor caught four passes for 17 yards. G. Giannone caught two passes for 30 yards. Jackson Grantz added two receptions for 28 yards an da touchdown. Cale Locklar chipped in with two receptions for 16 yards. Triston Taylor returned two kickoffs for 49 yards with a long return of 29 yards. J. Stephens returned one kickoff for 21 yards. Jaxon Grantz kicked two extra points, punted four times for a 40.2 average with a long punt of 60 yards with one indide the 20 yard line, and kicked off three times for a 56.0 average with one touchback. Matthew Hardin led the defense with four solo and six assisted tackles with 3.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 10 yards. J. Stephens added four solo and three assisted tackles. CJ Young recorded four solo and two assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totalinf 10 yards. Jackson Grantz added four solo and one assisted tackles.

Maddox Knuckles led Moore’s ground game with 14 yards on 10 carries. Keyon Johnson carried the ball eight times for 11 yards. Keyon Johnson completed six of 17 passes for 58 yards, Alonte Thompson caught three passes for 22 yards. Tristan Jackson caught two passes for 31 yards. Javis Wallace returned one kickoff for 98 yards and a touchdown. Keyon Johnson led the defense with five solo and one assisted tackles. Reggie Palmer added three solo and four assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a one yard loss and recovered a fumble. Israel Hoff recorded three solo and four assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling four yards. Jordan Watkins intercepted a pass he returned 19 yards.

Lexington Christian dominated play tonight with a 53-0 running clock victory over Shawnee. Lexinton Christian Academy recorded 12 first downs and 239 yards of total offense. The Eagles were penalized twice for 20 yards. Shawnee recorded one first down and 39 yards of toyal offense. They were penalized three times for 17 yards, lost a fumble, and had two passes intercepted.

Saxton Howard led LCA’s ground game with 64 yards and two touchdowns on three carries. Bennett Gudalis carried the ball three times for 26 yards and a touchdown. Daven Hood added 24 yards and a touchdown on three carries. Tyler King carried the ball once for 19 yards. Mac Darland added five yards an da touchdown on two carries. Saxton Howard completed five of five passes for 61 yards. Carter Penix and Bryce Bentley each completed their only pass for 10 and six yards respectively. Sam Pearson caught three passes for 30 yards. Jeremiah Burbage added one reception for 16 yards, Cam King recorded one catch for 10 yards. Paxton Gray returned one kickoff for 80 yards and a touchdown. Isaac Collins kicked off eight times for a 58.6 average with six touchbacks. Mac Darland and Thomas Sizemore each recorded two solo and one assisted tackles to lead the defense. Jackson Dillow added two solo tackles and scored on a 38 yard interception return. Hunter Adams intercepted a pass he returned 14 yards. Dorron Riddick recovered a fumble.

Kyresse McAtee led Shawnee’s ground game with 20 yards on four carries. Dylan Braun completed two of eight passes for 29 yards with two interceptions. Darrell Board caught two passes for 29 yards. Zayuanh Hines returned one kickoff for 30 yards. Christian Single returned one kickoff for nine yards. Jaymont Ware led the defense with three solo and one assisted tackles. DaWayne Smith added three solo tackles. Masiah Keys recorded two solo and one assisted tackles. Zayuanh Hines chipped in with two solo tackles.

Newport remained undefeated and improved to 4-0 with a big 32-30 road victory over Ludlow but it didn’t come easy. Newport took a 12-0 lead after the first quarter and led 20-8 at halftime. Newport led 26-16 after three quarters and seemed to ice the game with a 70 yard interception return by Kyle Lee to make the score 32-24 with less than a minute on the clock but the conversion kick failed leaving Ludlow a glimmer of hope. The Panthers took advantage and scored on an 18 yard TD pass from Miller Reed to Carson Evans with less than 10 seconds remaining on the clock. Ludlow attempted a run for the 2-point conversion and the tie but the play was stopped short allowing Newport to escape with the victory. Newport recorded 199 yards of total offense, was penalized 12 times for 103 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted. Ludlow recorded 359 yards of total offense, was penalized six times for 60 yards, lost two fumbles, and had two passes intercepted.

Carvonta Roper led Newport’s ground game with 40 yards on seven carries. Kyle Lee carried the ball six times for 21 yards. Kyle Lee completed nine of 14 passes for 115 yards and three touchdowns with one interception. Keegan Farrell caught three passes for 68 yards and one touchdown. Carvonta Roper added one reception for 29 yards and a touchdown. Kendall Buck-Barber added three receptions for nine yards and a touchdown. Sean Hurry led the defense with 10 solo and one assisted tackles. Jaylan Hartness added eight solo and two assisted tackles. Kayveion Sharp recorded eight solo and one assisted tackles, recovered a fumble, and intercepted a pass. Amontae Lowe chipped in with seven solo tackles. Keegan Farrell added one solo and six assisted tackles. Dallas Harrington scored on a 98 yard fumble recovery return. Kyle Lee scored on a 70 yard interception return.

Aiden Smith-Baxley led Ludlow’s ground attack with 151 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries. Dameyn Anness carried the ball 18 times for 101 yards. Jackson Mays completed four of five passes for 50 yards. Miller Reed completed five of nine passes for 41 yards and one touchdown with two interceptions. Carson Evans caught three passes for 48 yards and a touchdown. Spencer Brandenburg, Dameyn Anness, and Kaedon Moore each caught two passes for 17, 15, and 12 yards respectively. Dameyn Anness scored on a 78 yard punt return. Spencer Brandenburg led the defense with four solo and three assisted tackles. Matt Brock added three solo and three assisted tackles. Kaedon Moore recorded two solo and three assisted tackles. Dameyn Anness chipped in with two solo and two assisted tackles. Kamdin Yates recovered a fumble and Jayden Stone intercepted a pass.

Central defeated Bullitt East by the score of 28-14. Tonight was the Cortez Stone show as he ran for three touchdowns, scored on a two point conversion run and threw a 13 yard touchdown pass to Avaion Johnson-McNeal. Bullitt East actually led 14-13 after three quarters but Central scored 15 unanswered points in the final quarter. Central recorded 311 yards while Bullitt East was limited to 173 yards of total offense.

Cortez Stone led Central’s ground game with 165 yards and three touchdowns on 19 carries. Jermaine Walker carried the ball 10 times for 85 yards. Justin Brents recorded 45 yards on five carries. Cortez Stone completed his only pass for a 13 yard touchdown. Avairon Johnson-McNeal caught one pass for 13 yards and a touchdown. Dustin Basemore, Avairon Johnson-McNeal, and Jaylon Benning Wyatt each recorded seven solo tackles to lead the defense. Micah Williams added six solo tackles. Amontez Woolfolk intercepted a pass.

Alec Britt led the Bullitt East ground game with 37 yards on 14 carries. Cayden Cowan carried the ball twice for seven yards. Cole Cornell completed 11 of 26 passes for 137 yards and two touchdowns with one interception. Cayden Cowan caught five passes for 53 yards and a touchdown. Evan Butler added two receptions for 53 yards. Caden Bostock recorded three receptions for 29 yards and a touchdown. Baron Hardesty led the defense with six solo and five assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in negative yardage. Ryan Rayhill added seven solo and two assisted tackles. Tyler O’Bryan chipped in with four solo and four assisted tackles. Brady Cornell recorded three solo and two assisted tackles and had a QB sack.

Covington Catholic utilized a strong ground game to pull away from Beechwood in the final quarter for a 49-28 victory. Beechwood’s high octane passing attack was hampered tonight by the absence of two talented receivers Tyler Fryman and Luke Erdman due to injuries. Covington Catholic recorded 23 first downs and 552 yards of total offense. The Colonels were penalized three times for 20 yards. Beechwood recorded 14 first downs and 223 yards of total offense. The Tigers were penalized twice for 11 yard, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

Dylan Gaiser led Covington Catholic’s ground game with 241 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries. Cash Harney carried the ball 16 times for 155 yards. Andrew Bessler recorded 70 yards and two touchdowns on six carries. Owen Pitzer chipped in with 24 yards and two touchdowns on four carries. Cash Harney completed seven of 12 passes for 62 yards and two touchdowns. Dylan Gaiser caught one pass for 18 yards and a touchdown. Nicholas Krallman and Oliver Link each caught one pass for 15 and 13 yards respectively. Brady Guard caught a six yard touchdown pass. Dylan Gaiser returned one kickoff for 51 yards. Tate Kruer led the defewnse with eight solo and one assisted tackles. Nicholas Krallman added four solo tackles. Andrew Bessler and Jackson Payne each recorded three solo tackles. Johnny Lind recovered a fumble and Gabe Weis intercepted a pass he returned 23 yards.

Chase Flaherty led Beechwood’s ground game with 59 yards on 17 carries. Clay Hayden completed 12 of 23 passes for 167 yards and two touchdowns with one interception. Nathan Pabst caught four passes for 54 yards. Chase Flaherty added four receptions for 52 yards and two touchdowns. James Cusick recorded two receptions for 34 yards. James Cusick punted three times for a 54.0 average with a long punt of 64 yards with two punts inside the 20 yard line. Nathan Pabst returned six kickoffs for 246 yards with touchdown returns of 96 and 89 yards. James Cusik returned two kickoffs for a 24.0 average with a long return of 27 yards. Jack Meier led the defense with seven solo and five assisted tackles. Brody Aylor added six solo and three assisted tackles. Brody Waddell recorded five solo and two assisted tackles. Caleb Arrasmith chipped in with three solo and one assisted tackles.

Braeden Kelley led Madison Southern’s ground game with 131 yards on 13 carries. Ethan Moore carried the ball five times for 25 yards and a touchdown. RJ Blair added 21 yards on three carries. P. Williams recorded 19 yards on five carries. Gabe Beard completed 12 of 21 passes for 187 yards and two touchdowns. Ethan Moore caught seven passes for 119 yards and a touchdown. Ethan Brook added two receptions for 18 yards and a touchdown. Brayden Hall recorded one catch for 36 yards. RJ Blair returned one kickoff for 23 yards. Madison Central recorded 14 first downs and 241 yards of total offense. The Indians were penalized three times for 24 yards, lost three fumbles, and had a pass intercepted.

Kayne Garrett led Scott County’s ground game with 78 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries. Ali Hamdiyah carried the ball 10 times for 61 yards and two touchdowns. Timmy Emongo recorded 56 yards on four carries. Andrew Hickey completed four of five passes for 64 yards and a touchdown. Issac York caught two passes for 44 yards and a touchdown. Eli Lilly added two receptions for 20 yards. Jackson Damron returned one kickoff for 55 yards. Ali Hamdiyah returned one kickoff for 11 yards. Jackson Damron led the defense with seven solo and five assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a two yard loss and scored on an 82 yard interception return. R. Lafayette had three scoring plays of over 80 yards in a 28-7 victory over West Jessamine. Lafayette took control of the game with 22 unanswered points in the second quarter to take a 22-0 lead at halftime. Lafayette recorded six first downs and 315 yards of total offense. The Generals were penalized twice for 10 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted. West Jessamine recorded 13 first downs and 220 yards of total offense. The Colts were penalized five times for 35 yards and had a pass intercepted.

CJ Young led Lafayette’s ground game with 102 yards and a touchdown on three carries. JJ Richardson carried the ball 12 times for 30 yards. Ranson Payton completed seven of 13 passes for 188 yards and two touchdowns with one interception. Christian Giannone caught three passes for 101 yards and one touchdown. Triston Taylor added three receptions for 83 yards and a touchdown. Jackson Stephens returned one punt for nine yards. Jackson Grantz led the defense with three solo and 11 assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a one yard loss. Jackson Stephens added six solo and four assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a two yard loss. Matthew Hardin recorded five solo and five assisted tackles.
