Bowling Green defeated Cooper by the score of 37-20. Bowling Green was tough in the trenches tonight as the O-Line opened lanes for the Bowling Green ground game (238 yards and four touchdowns) and the D-Line pressure Cooper QB Cam O’Hara all night and recorded six sacks. Bowling Green recorded 19 first down and 371 yards of total offense. The Purples were penalized seven times for 63 yards and had one pass intercepted. Cooper recorded 20 first downs and 300 yards of total offense. The Jaguars were penalized four times for 22 yards and lost two fumbles.

Montravion Graham led Bowling Green’s ground game with 88 yards on 12 carries. Jaxen Smith added 79 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries. Deuce Bailey recorded 74 yards and three touchdowns on 11 carries. Deuce Bailey completed 13 of 18 passes for 133 yards with one interception. Trevy Barber caught seven passes for 99 yards. Trevy Barber returned one punt for 12 yards. Jaxen Smith returned two kickoffs for 56 yards with a long return of 39 yards. Christopher Sweeney returned one kickoff for 17 yards. Grayson Newman led the defense with five solo and three assisted tackles. Jaxen Smith added four solo and three assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 17 yards and recovered a fumble. Montrez Trussell recorded two solo and three assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in an 11 yard loss and recovered a fumble. Brandon Gurley chipped in with two solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 14 yards. Isaiah Johnson led Cooper’s ground game with 19 yards on four carries. Cam O’Hara completed 18 of 27 passes for 262 yards and three touchdowns. Jaiden Combs caught seven passes for 72 yards and a touchdown. Isaiah Johnson added five receptions for 89 yards and a touchdown. Ryker Campbell recorded three receptions for 79 yards. Austin Alexander added three receptions for 29 yards and a touchdown. Ryker Campbell returned three kickoffs for 57 yards with a long return of 26 yards. Jaiden Combs returned one kickoff for 20 yards. Max Wethington led the defense with eight solo and five assisted tackles. Mike Mullvihill added six solo and four assisted tackles. Dax Bolen recorded five solo and five assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a two yard loss. Ryker Campbell added six solo tackles and intercepted a pass he returned 25 yards. Trinity fell behind 14-0 in the first quarter but rallied to defeat Ryle by the score of 42-23. Ryle only trailed 21-17 after three quarters but two “pick sixes” by Trinity in the final quarter settled the issue for the Shamrocks. Trinity recorded 19 first downs and 336 yards of total offense. The Shamrocks were penalized eight times for 65 yards and lost a fumble. Ryle recorded 16 first downs and 358 yards of total offense. The Raiders were penalized 10 times for 78 yards and had two passes intercepted.

Jamaurion Berry led Trinity’s ground game with 81 yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries. Chris. Wilson added 77 yards on 13 carries. Zane Johnson completed 18 of 24 passes for 195 yards and two touchdowns. Mason Scherer caught six passes for 69 yards and one touchdown. Nation Roe-McBroom added five receptions for 46 yards. Jason Hagan recorded four catches for 53 yards and a touchdown. Chris. Wilson caught two passes for 25 yards. Myles Howze led the defense with seven solo and two assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling two yards. Sekou Kamara added seven solo and one assisted tackles. AJ Hughes recorded three solo and four assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a one yard loss. Bailey Vance added three solo and two assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a two yard loss and scored on a 15 yard interception return. Caleb Ricks recorded three solo and one assisted tackles and scored on a 35 yard interception return. John Wilson chipped in with three solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 11 yards. Sonny Bratcher-Gray added three solo tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a 12 yard loss.

Jacob Savage led Ryle’s ground game with 79 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries. Jaden Galicia carried the ball three times for 38 yards. Natahn Verax completed 14 of 36 passes for 269 yards and three touchdowns with two interceptions. Landon Lorms caught eight passes for 147 yards and three touchdowns. Gavin Lyons added three receptions for 55 yards. Dylan Lee recorded two catches for 59 yards. Dylan Lee returned two punts for 16 yards with a long returrn of 11 yards. Christian Academy of Louisville raced out to a 28-0 halftime lead on their way to a 42-21 victory over Union County. Christian Academy of Louisville recorded 19 first downs and 396 yards of total offense. The Centurions were penalized six times for 55 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted. Union County recorded 14 first downs and 247 yards of total offense. The Braves were penalized five times for 50 yards.

Connor Hodge led CAL’s ground game with 137 yards and four touchdowns on 18 carries. Garyon Hobbs carried the ball three times for 25 yards. Connor Hodge completed 13 of 17 passes for 225 yards and two touchdowns with one interception. Trey Cotton caught five passes for 114 yards and a touchdown. JaHyde Brown caught four passes for 44 yards. Bryce Wilson caught one pass for 38 yards and a touchdown. Micah Newsom led the defense with eight solo and two assisted tackles with 3.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 11 yards. Jackson Settle added eight solo and one assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 18 yards. Paducah Tilghman defeated Franklin County by the score of 27-20 to finish the season at 15-0 and earn a state championship. Paducah Tilghman recorded 24 first downs and 528 yards of total offense. The Blue Tornado were penalized 13 times for 112 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted. Franklin County recorded 19 first downs and 293 yards of total offense. The Flyers were penalized 10 times for 70 yards.

Michael Hinton led Paducah Tilghman’s ground game with 88 yards on seven carries. Vanzale Hinton carried the ball 13 times for 65 yards. Jack James recorded 13 yards and two touchdowns on nine carries. Matels Carter also ran for a touchdown. Jack James completed 27 of 31 passes for 352 yards and one touchdown with one interception. Martels Carter caught nine passes for 169 yards and a touchdown. Vanzale Hinton added five receptions for 68 yards. Joshua Campbell recorded five catches for 49 yards. Beechwood defeated Owensboro Catholic 50-34 to hand them their first loss of the year and add another state championship to their already crowded trophy case. Sayre completed a perfwect 15-0 season by defeating Raceland by the score of 27-22 to earn the Class 1A state championship. Brock Coffman had an excellent game on both sides of the ball to lead the Spartans. Sayre recorded 16 first downs and 254 yards of total offense. The Spartans were penalized six times for 33 yards and had one pass intercepted. Raceland recorded 18 first downs and 288 yards of total offense. The Rams were penalized eight times for 64 yards.

Charlie Slabaugh led Sayre’s ground game with 21 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries. Kemonte Braxton carried the ball once for 14 yards. Luke Pennington completed 21 of 27 passes for 219 yards and three touchdowns with one interception. Brock Coffman caught 12 passes for 143 yards and three touchdowns. Charlie Slabaugh added four receptions for 41 yards. Connor Evans recorded three receptions for 25 yards. Caden Jones returned two kickoffs for 23 yards with a long return of 13 yards. Kemonte Braxton returned one kickoff for 16 yards. Charlie Slabaugh and Har. Phillips led the defense with seven solo and eight assisted tackles each. Jacob Waller chipped in with 11 yards and a touchdown on five carries. Jacob Waller completed 10 of 12 passes for 81 yards. Jonah Arnett completed three of four passes for 10 yards and a touchdown. Jaxon Rister caught four passes for 25 yards and a touchdown. Parker Ison caught one pass for 32 yards. Jaxon Rister returned two kickoffs for 36 yards with a long return of 22 yards. Brady Atwell completed 20 of 25 passes for 303 yards and three touchdowns. Cameron Woodward caught five passes for 151 yards and a touchdown. Connor Hodge led CAL’s ground game with 61 yards on nine carries. Garyon Hobbs added 31 yards on seven carries. Tyree Stoner recorded eight yards and a touchdown on two carries. Connor Hodge completed 17 of 21 passes for 178 yards and four touchdowns. Jackson Burke completed three of four passes for 36 yards. Trey Cotton caught six passes for 74 yards and a touchdown.
