Madison Southern coach Kent Miller started the following lineup: 5-8 Jr. Emma Kate Lawson, 5-5 Fr. Ellen Todd, 6-0 Fr. Olivia Coburn, 5-2 Fr. Lillian Kirk, and 5-3 Fr. Cami Duerson. Madison Central coach Scott True countered with 5-7 Sr. Brooke Campbell, 5-5 Jr. Jordynn Miles, 5-9 Sr. Cameryn Ridderikhoff, 5-7 Sr, Brittany Campbell, and 5-6 Sr. Nataya Strader.
Madison Central defeated an injury plagued Madison Southern squad by the score of 63-35. Madison Central shot 59.5% from the field including three of seven from the three point line. The Lady Indians connected on 16 of 23 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 26 points off 21 Madison Southern turnovers. Madison Southern shot 35.3% from the field including five of 15 from beyond the arc. The Lady Eagles connected on six of 11 free throws, pulled down 15 rebounds, and scored two points off 15 Madison Central turnovers.
Nataya Strader led Madison Central with 21 points including six of eight free throws, four rebounds, and six steals. Cameryn Ridderikhoff added 10 points, three rebounds, and two steals. Brittany Campbell recorded nine points, seven rebounds, two assists, and three steals. Jordynn Miles chipped in with seven points, two rebounds, and two steals. 5-6 Sr. Tiana Long added eight points on four of four from the field and two rebounds. 5-4 Jr. Skylar Collinsworth recorded six points on two three point baskets and three rebounds.
5-9 Jr. Laci Sandlin led Madison Southern with 17 points including two three point baskets and two steals. Emma Kate Lawson added five points and two rebounds.
