Seth Carmichael threw four TD passes in the final quarter to erase a 37-10 deficit and lead Anderson County to a 38-37 victory over South Oldham.  This was a game of runs as Anderson County led 10-7 at halftime.  South Oldham roared back in the third quarter fueled by two touchdowns scored by the defense and a safety to take a 37-10 lead entering the final period.  However Anderson County scored 28 unanswered points in the final quarter to earn the victory.

Anderson County recorded 29 first downs and 467 yards of total offense.  The Bearcats were penalized six times for 75 yards, lost two fumbles, and had two passes intercepted.  South Oldham recorded 16 first downs and 343 yards of total offense.  They were penalized nine times for 106 yards and lost three fumbles.

Seth Carmichael led Anderson County’s ground game with 91 yards on 16 carries.  Carmichael completed 24 of 33 passes for 297 yards and four touchdowns with two interceptions.  Matt Sprague caught seven passes for 76 yards and a touchdown.  Neal Wells added five receptions for 64 yards.  Ethan Kelly caught two passes for 80 yards and a touchdown.  B. Curtsinger added three receptions for 25 yards and two touchdowns. Seth Carmichael led the defense with eight solo tackles.  Todd Dewoody added four solo and four assisted tackles.

Steward Williams led South Oldham’s ground game with 59 yards on seven carries.  Jack Sherry added 42 yards and a touchdown on seven carries.  Jack Sherry completed seven of 10 passes for 95 yards.  Jacob Lane caught four passes for 75 yards and a touchdown.  Cody Kollenberg led the defense with seven solo and one assisted tackles.  Jacob Lane added six solo and three assisted tackles.  Jared Good recorded three solo tackles, seven assisted tackles, and scored on a 37 yard interception return.  Reid Gilson scored on a 13 yard fumble recovery return.

Clark County took advantage of four Tates Creek turnovers and utilized the running of FB Mason Jones to defeat Tataes Creek by a score of 27-12.  Two Tates Creek fumbles in the first half led to touchdowns by Clark County.  The old injury bug hit Tates Creek again tonight as one of their top defenders Jonathon Meadors left early in the game with an injury.

Clark County recorded 19 first downs and 372 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized 13 times for 128 yards.  Tates Creek recorded 16 first downs and 235 yards of total offense.  The Commodores were penalized six times for 50 yards, lost two fumbles, and had two passes ntercepted.

Mason Jones led Clark County’s ground game with 138 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries.  Pokey Harris carried the ball 11 times for 55 yards.  Andrew Dini completed nine of 13 passes for 123 yards and one touchdown.  Darius Skinner caught three passes for 63 yards.  Corey Rogers added three receptions for 35 yards and a touchdown.  Mason Jones led the defense with four solo and six assisted tackles.  Reid Campbell added three solo and six assisted tackles including 2.5 tackles resulting in losses totalling 20 yards.

Jontez Jones led Tates Creek’s ground game with 132 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries.  Brandon Shrout carried the ball 10 times for 56 yards and a touchdown.  Dee Christopher completed five of nine passes for 49 yards with an interception.  Austin Crutcher and Martrell Berry each caught a pass for 20 and 17 yards respectively.  Jasir Rayyan led the defense with four solo and three assisted tackles.  Dennis Oxendine added four solo and two assisted tackles.  Tadar. Jemison recorded three solo and four assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totalling 23 yards.

QB Matt Britt threw three touchdown passes to Tanner Napier in Lafayette’s 35-25 victory over Bryan Station.  The Generals took a 28-0 lead early in the third quarter but Bryan Station rallied to pull close late in the game before Lafayette added an insurance TD.  Lafayette recorded 19 first downs nad 386 yards of total offense.  The Generals were penalized five times for 98 yards. Lost two fumbles, and had two passes intercepted.  Bryan Station recorded 20 first downs and 412 yards of total offense.  The Defenders were penalized three times for 35 yards, lost two fumbles, and had three passes intercepted.

Bubba Johnson led Lafayette’s ground game with 82 yards on 15 carries.  Matt Britt completed 11 of 23 passes for 256 yards and four touchdowns with two interceptions.  Tanner Napier caught six passes for 180 yards and three touchdowns.  Andy Hampton led the defense with seven solo and four assisted tackles.  David Kenner added four solo and seven assisted tackles.  Jalen Stith intercepted two passes.  Marlon Johnson intercepted one pass and scored a touchdown on a 77 yard fumble recovery return.

Loran Smith led Bryan Station’s ground game with 79 yards on 19 carries.  Loran Smith completed 11 of 20 passes for 211 yards and a touchdown with three interceptions.  Tyriq Roberts caught five passes for 144 yards and a touchdown.  Everett Talbert led the defense with two solo and eight assisted tackles.  Elijah Burdette added three solo and two assisted tackles.  Jaysuma Webb scored on a 25 yard interception return.

Henry Clay scored touchdowns on their first 10 possessions in a 70-30 victory over Madison Central.  The Blue Devils only ran 28 plays on offense but averaged 15.7 yards per play.  Henry Clay recorded 16 first downs and 439 yards of total offense.  The Blue Devils were penalized seven times for 47 yards and lost a fumble.  Madison Central recorded 21 first downs and 359 yards of total offense.  The Indians were penalized twice for 21 yards, lost two fumbles, and had one pass intercepted.

Vinny Miller led Henry Clay’s ground game with 125 yards and two touchdowns on six carries.  Bo Brooks carried the ball four times for 58 yards and a touchdown.  Vinny Miller completed all five of his pass attempts for 81 yards and two touchdowns.  Blake Green caught three passes for 74 yards and two touchdowns.  Charles McCarty led the defense with four solo and eight assisted tackles.  McCarty also recovered a fumble.  Anthony Lindsey recorded five solo and three assisted tackles with six of his tackles resulting in losses totalling 24 yards.  Anthony Benton scored a touchdown on a 79 yard interception return.

Jamez Chenault led Madison Central’s ground game with 106 yards and two touchdowns on 28 carries.  Nick Ford completed 17 of 36 passes for 232 yards and a touchdown with one interception.  Kenjah Bosley caught five passes for 100 yards and a touchdown.  Matt Withers led the defense with two solo and five assisted tackles.  George Walker added one solo and four assisted tackles.

Lexington Catholic’s Amoh Kumengisa scored on a 31 yard run and Jake Pumphrey kicked the extra point with one minute left in the game to give the Knights a 46-40 victory in a “Wild West Shootout” over East Jessamine.  East Jessamine had one more series on offense but were stopped on downs.  Lexington Catholic won the game despite a monster game by East Jessamine RB Cameron Thomas who ran for 355 yards including TD runs of 12, 39, 73, and 47 yards.

Lexington Catholic recorded 13 first downs and 376 yards of total offense.  The Knights were penalized four times for 26 yards and lost a fumble.  East Jessamine recorded 21 first downs and 474 yards of total offense (all on the ground).  The Jaguars were penalized four times for 27 yards and lost a fumble.

Amoh Kumengisa led Lexington Catholic’s ground game with 135 yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries.  Kyle Bolin added 68 yards and a touchdown on eight carries.  Kyle Bolin completed 14 of 22 passes for 160 yards and a touchdown.  Adam Bush caught six passes for 38 yards and a touchdown.  Luke Fish added four receptions for 49 yards.  Nate Letton caught two passes for 59 yards.  Adam Wachs led the defense with seven solo and four assisted tackles.  Jordan Artrip added eight solo and one assisted tackles.  Mich. Vogelsang recorded six solo and three assisted tackles.

Cameron Thomas led East Jessamine’s ground attack with 355 yards and four touchdowns on 36 carries.  Austin Hager carried the ball 20 times for 81 yards and a touchdown.  The Jaguars did not complete any passes tonight.  Tyler Nguyen led the defense with seven solo and three assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totalling 14 yards.  Justin Myers and Zach Templin each recorded three solo and three assisted tackles.
