Manual coach Jimmy Just started the following lineup: 6-1 Sr. Shy Heath, 6-2 Jr. Noel Eckman, 6-2 Jr. Quintez Sutton, 6-0 Jr. Bryan Repishti, and 6-0 Jr. Trey Wells.  Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown countered with 6-2 Sr. Trae Stewart, 6-0 Sr. Kendrick Prewitt, 6-6 Sr. Daniel Kiesling, 6-0 Sr. Brandon Nichols, and 5-9 Jr. Wes Kimball.

Henry Clay held a 43-21 advantage in rebounds and a 15-5 advantage in second chance points in a 68-57 victory over Manual.  Henry Clay shot 50.9% from the field including five of 13 from the three point line.  The Blue Devils connected on nine of 20 free throws, pulled down 43 rebounds, and scored nine points off 10 Manual turnovers.  Manual shot 43.6% from the field including six of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Crimsons connected on three of seven free throws, pulled down 21 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 14 Henry Clay turnovers.

Daniel Kiesling led five Henry Clay Blue Devils in double figures with 16 points and 11 rebounds.  Kiesling was six of eight from the field and four of four from the free throw line.  Wes Kimball added 14 points and six assists.  Kendrick Prewitt chipped in with 13 points and six rebounds.  Brandon Nichols added 12 points and 6-4 Fr. Jordan Green continues to impress with 12 points and nine rebounds.

Bryan Repishti led Manual with 15 points including three three point baskets.  Repishti was six of eight from the field including three of three from beyond the arc.  Quintez Sutton added 12 points.

Dominique Hawkins.  Lexington Christian Academy coach Tommy Huston countered with 6-1 Jr. Patrick Nickodem, 6-1 Sr. Joe Duncan, 6-5 Sr. Max Barjuca, 5-10 Sr. Carter Helton, and 6-2 Jr. Taylor Barnette.

LCA led 36-22 early in the third quarter and withstood a Madison Central rally in the final quarter to take a 62-59 decision over Madison Central.  LCA shot 45.5% from the field including three of 17 from the three point line.  The Eagles connected on 19 of 29 free thrpws. pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 15 Madison Central turnovers.  Madison Central shot 41.7% from the field including five of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Indians connected on 14 of 23 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 11 LCA turnovers.

Carter Helton led LCA with 21 points, six rebounds, and seven steals.  Helton was six of eight from the field and nine of 10 from the free throw line.  Taylor Barnette added 15 points.  5-9 So. Tyler Harville came off the bench to add 14 points including three three point baskets.

Dominique Hawkins came up big for Madison Central as he scored 29 points and pulled down six rebounds.  Hawkins was 10 of 14 from the field and eight of 10 from the free throw line.  John O’Bryan added 10 points including three three point baskets.  Nick Ford pulled down a game-high nine rebounds.

Quin Richardson, and 6-0 Sr. Trey Relford.  Lafayette coach Greg Coldiron countered with 6-5 So. Nick Trisko, 6-1 Sr. Dee Yarbrough, 6-7 Fr. Jackson Davis, 5-9 Fr. Charles “Snoop” Johnson, and 5-10 Sr. David Ross.

Scott County’s pressure defense forced 33 Lafayette turnovers which they converted into 29 points in a 71-56 victory over Lafayette.  Scott County shot 43.1% from the field including three of eight from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on 12 of 20 free throws and pulled down 32 rebounds.  Lafayette shot 48.8% from the field including two of nine from beyond the arc.  The Generals connected on 12 of 19 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 16 Scott County turnovers.  Lafayette attempted 22 less shots from the field (65-43) than Scott County.

Tamron Manning led Scott County with 20 points, eight assists, and four steals.  Tanner Shotwell added 16 points and six rebounds.

Dee Yarbrough led Lafayette with 17 points and six rebounds.  Jackson Davis added 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Kali Whiteside, 5-5 Fr. Destiny Stewart, and 5-11 Fr. Makenzie Cann.

Sacred Heart held on to defeat Anderson County by a score of 49-48.  Sacred Heart held a 47-39 lead but Anderson County rallied down the stretch.  Sacred Heart shot 42.6% from the field including one of seven from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on two of five free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 26 Anderson County turnovers.  Anderson County shot 43.2% from the field including two of five from beyond the arc.  The Lady Bearcats connected on eight of 15 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 19 Sacred Heart turnovers.

Morgan Clemons led Sacred Heart with 20 points and eight rebounds.  Monica McGreal added 14 points and five steals.

Kali Whiteside led Anderson County with 17 points and 14 rebounds.  Makenzie Cann added 11 points including two three point baskets.  Caroline McDowell and Sydney Brown each scored nine points.

Mike Smith.  Frankfort coach Tony Wise countered with 6-1 So. Aaron Jackson, 6-0 Sr. Dylan Gilkey, 6-3 Jr. Jared Jones, 5-10 Sr. Doriyan Frazier, and 5-10 Sr. Dariyan Frazier.

Frankfort led 32-26 at halftime and pulled away in the second half for a 77-51 victory over Sayre.  Frankfort shot 43.8% from the field including seven of 21 from the three point line.  The Panthers connected on six of 12 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored 28 points off 24 Sayre turnovers.  Sayre shot 43.5% from the field including two of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Spartans connected on nine of 22 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 12 Frankfort turnovers.

Aaron Jackson led Frankfort with 20 points and 12 rebounds.  Dariyan Frazier added 16 points including two three point baskets.  Doriyan Frazier,  Dylan Gilkey, and 6-0 Sr. Ryan Reed chipped in with nine, eight, and eight points respectively.

Mike Smith led Sayre with 13 points and four steals.  Cabot Haggin added 11 points.  Ray Brewer recorded 10 points, 11 rebounds, and three blocked shots.

Marissa Prince hit a three point basket with 20 seconds left in the game to give Bryan Station a 54-52 lead on their way to a 55-52 victory over Lafayette.  Bryan Station shot 39.6% from the field including three of 13 from the three point line.  The Lady Defenders connected on 10 of 22 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 24 points off 33 Lafayette turnovers.  Lafayette shot 33.3% from the field including three of eight from beyond the arc.  The Lady Generals connected on 21 of 33 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 28 points off 25 Bryan Station turnovers.

6-0 Sr. Amber Crumbie led Bryan Station with 20 points.  5-7 Sr. Victoria Clark and Serena Sandusky added seven points each.

Shomari Kendrick led Lafayette with 28 points including 14 of 18 free throws, and pulled down 16 rebounds.  5-3 Sr. Jariana Gillespie added 10 points.

Marion County coach Trent Milby started the following lineup: 5-7 Sr. Shakila Goodin, 5-9 Jr. Bre Elder, 6-0 Fr. Alexus Calhoun, 5-7 So. Patrice Tonge, and 5-10 So. Makayla Epps.  Madison Central coach Robbie Cooksey countered with 5-11 So. Ashton Feldhaus, 5-9 Sr. Jenna Cornelison, 5-10 Jr. Kristin Congleton, 5-6 Jr. Ashley Hinkle, and 5-6 Sr. Erica Parks. (Note: 5-5 So. Larryn Brooks did not play today).

Marion County hit their free throws down the stretch to defeat Madison Central 55-50 in a hard fought battle today.  Marion County took a 35-18 lead in the third quarter and it appeared it would be an easy victory.  However Madison Central went on a 16-0 run behind the offensive firepower of Jenna Cornelison and Ashton Fieldhaus to pull within one: 35-34. 

Marion County led 37-35 after three quarters and Makayla Epps scored 12 points in the final quarter including eight free throws to secure the victory.

Marion County shot 33.3% from the field including three of 13 from the three point line.  The Lady Knights connected on 13 of 20 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 14 Madison Central turnovers.  Madison Central shot 35.3% from the field including five of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Indians connected on nine of 12 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored one point off 11 Marion County turnovers.

Makayla Epps led Marion County with 19 points, eight rebounds, four assists, and five steals.  6-1 So. Kyvin Goodin-Rogers added 17 points, 10 rebounds, and three blocked shots.

Jenna Cornelison led Madison Central with 17 points, seven rebounds, and five assists.  Ashton Feldhaus added 13 points including three three point baskets and pulled down five rebounds.  Ashley Hinkle pulled down a game-high eight rebounds.

Nelson County coach Kelly Wood started the following lineup: 5-7 Jr. Shelby Maupin, 5-6 Jr. Ashley Wimsett, 6-3 So. Cierra Drake, 5-7 So. AJ Lewis, and 5-5 Jr. Megan Mattingly.  Lexington Catholic coach Chelsea Chowning countered with 6-0 Jr. Alex Botkin, 5-10 Jr. Emily Johns, 6-0 Jr. Elizabeth Walton, 5-7 Jr. Bonnie Rhule, and 5-9 So. Octavia Wilson.

Lexington Catholic utilized their pressure defense and some excellent work on the boards to defeat Nelson county by a score of 82-50.  Lexington Catholic held a 25-9 advantage in second chance points today.

Lexington Catholic shot 42.5% from the field including four of 12 from the three point line.  The Lady Knights connected on 16 of 26 free throws, pulled down 56 rebounds, and scored 37 points off 26 Nelson County turnovers.  Nelson County shot 34.6% from the field including two of 18 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Cards connected on 12 of 22 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 20 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Alex Botkin and Octavia Wilson led Lexington Catholic with 18 points each and pulled down eight and seven rebounds respectively.  Emily Johns recorded a double double with 15 points and 11 rebounds.  Elizabeth Walton chipped in with eight points and eight rebounds.

Shelby Maupin led Nelson County with 15 points.  Cierra Drake, AJ Lewis, 5-6 8th grader Caitlin Hagan, and 5-11 Fr. Kaylee Dickson each scored seven points.

McCallie outscored Lafayette 17-2 in overtime to earn a 68-53 victory.  McCallie shot 41.4% from the field including three of 17 from the three point line.  The Tornados connected on 17 of 23 free throws, pulled down 46 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 12 Lafayette turnovers.  Lafayette shot 32.2% from the field including four of 20 from beyond the arc.  The Generals connected on 11 of 13 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored eight points off 11 McCallie turnovers.

Terrance O’Donohue led McCallie with 21 points and six rebounds.  Chad Lee added 17 points and 13 rebounds.  Cordell James recorded 10 points and six rebounds.  CJ Reese chipped in with 10 points and six assists.

Dee Yarbrough led Lafayette with 23 points including nine of nine free throws.  Jackson Davis added 17 points eight rebounds, and three blocked shots.

Scott County shot 46.8% from the field including seven of 17 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on 27 of 36 free throws and pulled down 25 rebounds.  Lawrence North shot 56.6% from the field including six of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Wildcats connected on 12 of 16 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 13 Scott County turnovers.

Tanner Shotwell led Scott County with 32 points, 12 rebounds, four blocked shots, and six steals.  Shotwell was nine of 14 from the field including two of four from the three point line and 12 of 15 from the free throw line.  Isaiah Ivey, Tamron Manning, and Trey Relford added 19, 15, and 13 points respectively.

Lew Wallace coach Renaldo Thomas started the following lineup: 6-6 Sr. Brandon Dawson, 6-4 Sr. Aaron Abrams, 6-5 Jr. Laron Counce, 5-8 Sr. DeVonte Harris, and 5-10 Sr. Maurice Thurmond.  Scott County coach Billy Hicks countered with 6-4 Jr. Tamron Manning, 6-2 Jr. Isaiah Ivey, 6-4 Sr. Tanner Shotwell, 6-0 Sr. Trey Relford, and 6-0 So. Quin Richardson.

 Scott County utilized excellent free throw shooting going 42 for 51 (82.4%) to capture a hard earned 88-80 decision over a hot shooting (60.8%) Lew Wallace team.  The game was close throughout with eight lead changes and six ties.  Scott County led 61-60 at the end of three quarters and outscored the visitors 27-20 in the final quarter.

Scott County shot 35% from the field including four of 18 from the three point line.  The Cardinals pulled down 30 rebounds and scored 31 points off 27 Lew Wallace turnovers.  Lew Wallace shot 60.8% from the field including zero of five from beyond the arc.  The Hornets connected on 18 pf 30 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 14 Scott County turnovers.

Tamron Manning led Scott County with 32 points including two three point baskets and was 10 of 13 from the free throw line.  Manning also recorded nine rebounds and five steals.  Isaiah Ivey added 19 points including 10 of 14 free throws.  Tanner Shotwell recorded 15 points including 11 of 11 free throws and recorded six steals.  Trey Relford also reached double figures with 11 points including nine of 11 free throws.

Brandon Dawson led Lew Wallace with 22 points, 16 rebounds, and four steals.  Aaron Abrams added 18 points and 5-10 So. DeAndre Williams chipped in with 13 points.
