Cody Wolfe threw for four touchdowns and ran for two other touchdowns to lead Eastern to a 45-6 victory over Paul L. Dunbar.  Eastern recorded 23 first downs and 411 yards of total offense.  They were penalized 11 times for 115 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.  Paul L. Dunbar recorded 10 first downs and 153 yards of total offense.  The Bulldogs were penalized 13 times for 113 yards, lost a fumble, and had one pass intercepted.

Greg Hayes led Eastern’s ground game with 91 yards on six carries.  Cody Wolfe completed 13 of 16 passes for 216 yards and four touchdowns.  Tre Harrison caught five passes for 83 yards and a touchdown.  Lucas Moses added four receptions for 87 yards and a touchdown.  Chauncey Johns led the defense with three solo and two assisted tackles.  Clint Singleton added three solo tackles.

Brandyn Duncan led Dunbar’s ground game with 42 yards on seven carries.  Emory Thompson completed four of 10 passes for 64 yards and a touchdown with one interception.  Taylor Smith caught a 33 yard touchdown pass.  Andre Jones led the defense with four solo and three assisted tackles.  Antwan Williams added four solo tackles.

Ryle took advantage of Henry Clay turnovers in a 28-20 victory over the Blue Devils.  Ryle scored their first touchdown on a fumble recovery in the end zone and another Henry Clay drive deep in Ryle territory was stopped by a fumble recovery in the final quarter. Ryle surprised Henry Clay by operating out of an I-formation tonight after opening the season operating out of the shotgun formation.  Ryle recorded 19 first downs and 317 yards of total offense.  The Raiders were penalized five times for 41 yards and lost a fumble.  Henry Clay recorded 15 first downs and 404 yards of total offense.  The Blue Devils were penalized three times for 15 yards, lost three fumbles, and had one pass intercepted.

Tanner Pulice led Ryle’s ground attack with 144 yards on 29 carries.  David Aulick carried the ball 14 times for 95 yards and a touchdown.  Nathan Davis completed four of five passes for 30 yards.  Tanner Pulice caught two passes for 13 yards.  Kevin Walker caught one pass for 17 yards.  Ryan Woolf led the defense with two solo and seven assisted tackles with one fumble recovery.  Dylan Plvan added two solo and five assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling nine yards.  Pvlan also recovered a fumble for a touchdown.

Elijah Bell led Henry Clay’s ground attack with 176 yards on nine carries.  Davion Jackson added 15 carries for 117 yards and a touchdown.  Rhoman James completed eight of 10 passes for 60 yards with one interception.  Austin Black caught five passes for 40 yards.  Cole McCarty led the defense with eight solo and eight assisted tackles with 3.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 23 yards.  Jack Hellmann added four solo and eight assisted tackles and recovered a fumble.

Harlan County’s running backs ran behind their large, talented offensive line for 532 yards and nine touchdowns in a 65-54 victory over Tates Creek.  Harlan County recorded 28 first downs and 535 yards of total offense.  The Black Bears were penalized 16 times for 115 yards and lost three fumbles.  Tates Creek recorded 17 first downs and 420 yards of total offense.  The Commodores were penalized 14 times for 80 yards and lost a fumble.

Jake Middleton led Harlan County’s ground game with 334 yards and six touchdowns on 42 carries.  Cole Wilson added 95 yards and a touchdown on seven carries.  Treyvon Long added 60 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries.  Austin Maggard completed his only pass for three yards.  Treyvon Long caught one pass for three yards.  Carson Whitehead led the defense with eight solo and two assisted tackles with three of his losses resulting in losses totaling 13 yards.  Austin Maggard added four solo and two assisted tackles.

Dennis Oxendine led Tates Creek’s ground game with 59 yards and two touchdowns on nine carries.  Graham Gordon completed 15 of 31 passes for 350 yards and five touchdowns.  Marcus Wilkerson caught four passes for 134 yards and a touchdown.  Dennis Oxendine caught four passes for 83 yards and a touchdown.  R.J. Taylor caught a 78 yard TD pass.  Zach Hinds led the defense with six solo and seven assisted tackles.  Jay Rayford added four solo and one assisted tackles.

Blue Tisdale scored on a one yard run on the final play of the second quarter to give Bowling Green a 21-14 halftime lead on their way to a 42-20 victory over Lafayette.  Bowling Green recorded 17 first downs and 346 yards of total offense.  The Purples were penalized nine times for 88 yards and had two passes intercepted.  Lafayette recorded 15 first downs and 249 yards of total offense.  The Generals were penalized 10 times for 65 yards.

Blue Tisdale led the Bowling Green ground game with 85 yards and two touchdowns on 10 carries.  Devin Hayes completed 12 of 20 passes for 200 yards and three touchdowns with two interceptions.  Nacarius Fant caught five passes for 107 yards and a touchdown.  Spencer Renfro added two receptions for 44 yards and two touchdowns.  Lincoln Quick led the defense with six solo and two assisted tackles.  Shaw. Hutchins added five solo and three assisted tackles.

Kylan Nelson led Lafayette’s ground game with 50 yards on seven carries.  Garrett Peavler completed 24 of 36 passes for 207 yards and two touchdowns.  Darius Hughes caught eight passes for 66 yards.  Josh Dunn added seven receptions for 55 yards and a touchdown.  Tranard Chester caught four passes for 65 yards and a touchdown.  T.J. Broadus led the defense with six solo tackles.  Justin Carr added five solo and two assisted tackles and intercepted a pass.

Franklin County raced out to a 56-0 halftime lead on their way to a 63-0 victory over Western Hills.  Franklin County scored touchdowns on their first nine possessions. QB Logan Woodside was razor sharp tonight as he completed 10 of 11 passes for 251 yards and five touchdowns.  Franklin County recorded 13  first downs and 435 yards of total offense.  The Flyers were penalized nine times for 82 yards and lost two fumbles.  Western Hills recorded seven first downs and 142 yards of total offense.  The Wolverines were penalized seven times for 44 yards, lost three fumbles, and had one pass intercepted.

Logan Woodside led Franklin County’s ground game with 76 yards on one carry.  Ryan Timmons carried the ball four times for 43 yards and two touchdowns.  Logan Woodside completed 10 of 11 passes for 251 yards and five touchdowns.  Ryan Timmons caught three passes for 133 yards and two touchdowns.  Brandon Smith added two receptions for 61 yards and a touchdown.  Greg Maupin caught two passes for 51 yards and a touchdown.  Jared Marshall led the defense with three solo and six assisted tackles.  Greg Maupin added four solo and three assisted tackles.

Highlands rolled up 617 yards of total offense in a 60-37 victory over Scott County.  Highlands recorded 30 first downs and 617 yards of total offense including 453 yards on the ground.  The Bluebirds were penalized seven times for 62 yards and lost a fumble.  Scott County recorded 15 first downs and 414 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized 13 times for 85 yards, lost a fumble, and had two passes intercepted.

Zach Harris led Highlands’ ground attack with 122 yards and three touchdowns on 18 carries.  Jaylen Hayes carried the ball 12 times for 113 yards and two touchdowns.  Donovan McCoy added 104 yards and two touchdowns on 10 carries.  Donovan McCoy completed five of 10 passes for 103 yards and a touchdown.  Colin Seidl caught three passes for 28 yards.  Luke Turner added two receptions for 44 yards and a touchdown.  Ben Streeter led the defense with five solo and four assisted tackles.  Streeter also intercepted a pass.  Joe Paolucci added four solo and two assisted tackles.

Dumphord led the Scott County ground game with 121 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries.  Hunter Nelson carried the ball six times for 66 yards and a touchdown.  Clay McKee completed five of 11 passes for 158 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions.  Scott Daniel caught three passes for 53 yards and a touchdown.  Kevo Edwards caught an 80 yard touchdown pass.  Grayson Miller led the defense with seven solo and seven assisted tackles.  Damon Gray added four solo and nine assisted tackles.

Jonathan Polly scored on a two point conversion run to give Bell County a 32-31 overtime victory over Bryan Station tonight.  Bell County held a 17-7 lead at halftime but starting QB Corey Oslonian suffered an injury late in the first half.  Bryan Station rallied in the final quarter and took a 21-17 lead with 4:47 left in the game on a 69 yard fumble recovery return by Michael Morton and a conversion kick by Anthony Lopez.  The lead was short-lived as Jonathan Polly returned the ensuing kickoff 94 yards for a touchdown and Hayden Gilbert kicked the extra point to give Bell County a 24-21 lead with 4:35 left in the game.  Bell County recovered an onside kick but Bryan Station had one more chance and Anthony Lopez kicked a 36 yard field goal at the buzzer to tie the game at 24-24.  Bryan Station scored first in overtime on a four yard touchdown pass from Ora Johnson to Kenyon Hipps.  Anthony Lopez kicked the extra point to give Bryan Station a 34-31 lead.  Bell County scored on a10 yard run by Ryan Collett and won the game on Polly’s conversion run.

Bell County recorded 21 first downs and 389 yards of total offense.  They were penalized six times for 47 yards and lost a fumble.  Bryan Station recorded 14 first downs and 275 yards of total offense.  They were penalized twice for 15 yards and lost a fumble.

Jonathan Polly led Bell County’s ground game with 164 yards on 23 carries.  Ryan Collett carried the ball 24 times for 127 yards and two touchdowns.  Corey Oslonian completed three of three passes for 30 yards.  Tyler Green caught two passes for 15 yards.  Jeffrey Saylor led the defense with five solo and two assisted tackles.  Corey Lee added three solo and three assisted tackles.

Curtis Sellers led the Bryan Station ground game with 139 yards on 11 carries.  Ora Johnson completed 14 of 21 passes for 113 yards and two touchdowns.  Lavelle Cloyd caught four passes for 38 yards.  Marcus Floyd added three receptions for 23 yards.  Darious Raglin led the defense with nine solo and one assisted tackles.  James Taylor added four solo and six assisted tackles and Jayron Johnson recorded six solo and one assisted tackles.

Lexington Catholic 21  Bell County 7 – QB Kyle Bolin completed 17 of 31 passes for 213 yards and three touchdowns with an interception to lead the Knights to victory.

John Hardin 44  Henry Clay 27 – John Hardin outscored Henry Clay 22-6 in the second half.  Patrick Anderson threw TD passes of 30, 57, 19, and 9 yards to lead John Hardin.  Wade Holtsclaw led the ground game with 163 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries.  Elijah Bell led Henry Clay with 190 yards on 10 carries including TD runs of 62 and 57 yards.

Lafayette 55  Mason County 6 – Kylan Nelson scored on punt returns of 81 and 87 yards to spark the Generals.

Franklin County 62  Nelson County 41 – QB Logan Woodside completed seven of 10 passes for 302 yards including TD strikes of 53, 65, 57, and 58 yards to lead the Flyers to victory.

Scott County 46  Seneca 14 – Kevo Edwards carried the ball 16 times for 148 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Cardinals.

Tates Creek 28  West Jessamine 9 – Tates Creek outscored West Jessamine 21-0 in the second half.  Graham Gordon completed 15 of 19 passes for 205 yards and a touchdown to lead the Commodores.

Elizabethtown 23  Ft. Knox 15 – Josh Williams carried the ball 42 times for 236 yards and a touchdown and scored on a 90 yard kickoff return to lead the victors.

Lexington Christian Academy 13  Christian Academy of Louisville 12 – Dima Ballard threw TD passes of 5 and 19 yards to Justin King to lead LCA.  Christian Academy of Louisville scored a late touchdown but failed to convert on a two point conversion attempt.

Pleasure Ridge Park 50  Fairdale 7 – PRP raced out to a 50-0 halftime lead.

Central 29  Manual 7 – QB Tae’Shawn Gibbs scored on runs of 2 and 21 yards and scored on a 93 yard kickoff return to lead the Yellowjackets.

Trinity 52  Brentwood Academy (TN) 23 – QB Travis Wright completed 21 of 31 passes for 291 yards and three touchdowns; James Quick caught eight passes for 116 yards and a touchdown, and Dalyn Dawkins carried the ball 1 times for 122 yards to lead the Shamrocks to victory.

Corbin 13  George Rogers Clark 12 – Matthew Jewell ran for 165 yards and two touchdowns and the Redhound defense stopped George Rogers Clark at the Corbin 1 yard line late in the game.

Highland 52  Boyle County 31 – Boyle county led 24-15 at halftime but Highlands depth prevailed in the second half.  QB Donovan McCoy carried the ball nine times for 100 yards and four touchdowns and Zach Harris added 112 yards on 19 carries to lead the victors.  Seph Burke carried the ball 28 times for 162 yards to lead Boyle County.

Lincoln County 35  Casey county 23 – Logan Martin ran for 153 yards including TD runs of 28, 2, 18, and 14 yards to lead the victors.  Alex Bolin carried the ball 20 times for 196 yards and two touchdowns to lead Casey County.

Warren Central 42  Mayfield 28 – QB Michael Bush threw TD passes of 10, 54, and 7 yards to lead the victors.

Male 48  Floyd Central (IN) 7 – Male rolled up 668 yards of total offense in their victory.
