Tates Creek intercepted six passes in a 34-16 victory over Paul L. Dunbar despite losing four fumbles and being penalized 14 times for 206 yards.  Tates Creek recorded 19 first downs and 427 yards of total offense.  The Commodores were penalized 14 times for 206 yards and gave up four fumbles.  Paul L. Dunbar recorded 13 first downs and 254 yards of total offense.  The Bulldogs were penalized 15 times for 145 yards and had six passes intercepted.

Casey Grimes led Tates Creek’s ground attack with 101 yards on 17 carries.  Marcus Wilkerson carried the ball seven times for 56 yards.  Graham Gordon completed seven of 12 passes for 167 yards and one touchdown.  Jake Ryan completed three of four passes for 51 yards.  R.J. Taylor caught two passes for 97 yards and a touchdown.  Marcus Wilkerson added two receptions for 47 yards.  Eamon Nasr led the defense with four solo and seven assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling four yards.  Clint Boyte added five solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling four yards.  Ryan Betlach intercepted a pass and returned it 29 yards for a touchdown.  Martavius Carter intercepted two passes.

Darien Hardaway led Paul L. Dunbar’s ground game with 71 yards on 21 carries.  Emory Thompson completed 12 of 26 passes for 139 yards and two touchdowns with five interceptions.  Brandyn Duncan caught five passes for 31 yards.  Taylor Smith added four receptions for 98 yards and two touchdowns.  Brandyn Duncan led the defense with six solo and five assisted tackles.  Emory Thompson added seven solo and one assisted tackles and recovered a fumble.  Andre Jones recorded five solo and five assisted tackles and recovered a fumble.  Logan Hill added five solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 19 yards.

Madison Central led 20-0 after the first quarter on their way to a 44-24 victory over Henry Clay tonight.  Turnovers proved costly for the Blue Devils as three fumbles led to three Madison Central scoring drives.  Madison central recorded 18 first downs and 406 yards of total offense.  The Indians were penalized eight times for 41 yards.  Henry Clay recorded 14 first downs and 349 yards of total offense.  The Blue Devils were penalized five times for 54 yards and lost three fumbles.

Dominique Hawkins led Madison Central’s ground game with 103 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries.  Hunter Stocker completed 11 of 18 passes for 250 yards and four touchdowns.  Ken’Jah Bosley caught seven passes for 195 yards and three touchdowns.  Blake Broaddas led the defense with seven solo and one assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totaling seven yards.  Paul Couch added five solo tackles. 

Elijah Bell led Henry Clay’s ground attack with 116 yards and one touchdown o 19 carries.  Sammy Carter completed 14 of 19 passes for 142 yards and two touchdowns.  Colby Barnes caught six passes for 62 yards and a touchdown.  Austin Black added five receptions for 69 yards.  Logan Gross caught two passes for 67 yards and a touchdown.  Cole McCarty led the defense with eight solo and four assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling five yards.  Anthony Lindsey added five solo and two assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling five yards.

Casey County 42  McCreary Central 12 – Alex Bolin carried the ball 22 times for 340 yards including TD runs of 59, 57, 12, 1, 4, and 8 yards.

Nelson County 76  North Bullitt 36 – Nelson County QB Dylan Beasley completed 20 of 28 passes for 533 yards and nine touchdowns.

Bryan Station’s Elijah Burdette lived a defensive player’s dream tonight as he scored three touchdowns on interception returns to lead his team to a 56-8 victory over Tates Creek.  Tates Creek chances were further hampered by the loss of Dennis Oxendine with an injury in the first half.  Bryan Station recorded 17 first downs and 284 yards of total offense.  The Defenders were penalized 10 times for 71 yards.  Tates Creek recorded 16 first downs and 218 yards of total offense.  The Commodores were penalized seven times for 53 yards and had four passes intercepted.  Tates Creek was held scoreless until the last two plays of the game.

Ora Johnson led Bryan Station’s ground game with 63 yards and a touchdown on nine carries.  S. Harrington carried the ball six times for 59 yards and Curtis Sellers added 44 yards on seven carries.  Ora Johnson completed nine of 26 passes for 94 yards and two touchdowns.  Dallas Bruton completed three of four passes for 31 yards and a touchdown.  Marcus Floyd caught five passes for 80 yards and two touchdowns.  Elijah Burdette led the defense with five solo and two assisted tackles and intercepted three passes which he returned for touchdowns.  Austin Hendron added four solo and four assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 12 yards.

Casey Grimes led Tates Creek’s ground game with 55 yards  on 15 carries.  Graham Gordon completed 14 of 31 passes for 113 yards with one interception.  Jake Ryan completed three of nine passes for 27 yards and one touchdown with one interception.  R.J. Taylor caught seven passes for 48 yards.  Casey Grimes added four receptions for 16 yards and a touchdown.  Austin Yates led the defense with three solo and one assisted tackles.  Ryan Betlach added three solo tackles.

Frankfort defeated Lexington Christian Academy by a score of 43-14.  Frankfort recorded 16 first downs and 356 yards of total offense.  The Panthers were penalized five times for 45 yards.  Lexington Christian Academy recorded five first downs and 97 yards of total offense.  The Eagles were penalized eight times for 50 yards and had two passes intercepted.

Teantre McGee led Frankfort’s ground game with 100 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries.  Jalen Washington carried the ball eight times for 62 yards and a touchdown.  Chris Brooks added 52 yards and a touchdown on five carries.  Chris Hawkins completed 11 of 21 passes for 131 yards and two touchdowns.  Aaron Jackson caught five passes for 97 yards and two touchdowns.  Jalen Washington added five receptions for 34 yards.  Trevon Washington led the defense with 10 solo and one assisted tackles with five of his tackles resulting in losses.  Washington also intercepted a pass.

Sam Maybriar led Lexington Christian Academy’s ground game with 28 yards on six carries.  Lincoln Henzman completed two of six passes for 41 yards and a touchdown with one interception.  Dima Ballard completed three of 11 passes for 31 yards with one interception.  Ryder Brown caught three passes for 52 yards.  Brandon McLarney caught a 14 yard touchdown pass.  Nathan Brittain led the defense with five solo and one assisted tackles.  Lincoln Henzman and Adam Smith each recorded three solo and three assisted tackles.

Anderson County improved their record to 4-1 with a 27-8 victory over Montgomery County who falls to 4-1 for the season.  Anderson County recorded 23 first downs and 472 yards of total offense.  The Bearcats were penalized 11 times for 117 yards.  Montgomery County recorded eight first downs and 185 yards of total offense.  They were penalized four times for 37 yards and lost a fumble.

Granville Hayes led Anderson County’s ground attack with 126 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries.  Zach Carmichael carried the ball 14 times for 80 yards.  Zach Carmichael completed 17 of 25 passes for 243 yards and two touchdowns.  Granville Hayes caught 10 passes for 104 yards and a touchdown.  Dusty Puckett added 63 yards and a touchdown on four receptions.  Ross Cox caught two passes for 46 yards.  Nathan Cox led the defense with three solo and three assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling eight yards.  Huston Page added three solo and one assisted tackles.  Ross Cox recorded three solo tackles.

Blake Preston led Montgomery County’s ground game with 20 yards on six carries.  Matt Tuttle completed 14 of 22 passes for 154 yards and a touchdown.  Lance Lockridge caught four passes for 47 yards.  Joe Chism added three receptions for 45 yards.  Chas Newkirk caught three passes for 31 yards and a touchdown.  Chas Newkirk led the defense with 11 solo and eight assisted tackles.  Blake Preston added five solo and 10 assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling three yards.  Aaron Botts added seven solo and four assisted tackles.

Lexington Catholic outscored Mercer County 20-0 in the final quarter to record a 34-16 come-from-behind victory over the Titans.  Lexington Catholic recorded 19 first downs and 430 yards of total offense.  The Knights were penalized eight times for 63 yards, lost a fumble, and had two passes intercepted.  Mercer County recorded 12 first downs and 207 yards of total offense.  The Titans were penalized four times for 39 yards.

Amoh Kumengisa led Lexington Catholic’s ground game with 64 yards and three touchdowns on seven carries.  Noah Mitchell carried the ball three times for 38 yards.  Kyle Bolin completed 17 of 27 passes for 288 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions.  David Bouvier caught 10 passes for 159 yards.  Anthony Kersey added three receptions for 67 yards and a touchdown.  Casey Nash caught two passes for 49 yards and a touchdown.  Josh Mesmer led the defense with seven solo and eight assisted tackles with 3.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling four yards.  Sawyer Shelton recorded four solo and three assisted tackles.  Mike Lynch added four solo and one assisted tackles.

James Johnson led Mercer County’s ground game with 106 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries.  Darion Lewis carried the ball 18 times for 98 yards.  Darion Lewis completed one of six passes for seven yards.  Austin Sparrow completed one of two passes for 18 yards.  Lane Peavler caught one pass for 18 yards.  Jordan Elery led the defense with seven solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 11 yards.  Dylan Logue and Chris Goodman each recorded four solo tackles and Goodman added an interception.

Madison Central’s defense held Paul L. Dunbar to -1 yard on the ground in a 44-20 victory over the Bulldogs.  Madison Central recorded 16 first downs and 347 yards of total offense.  The Indians were penalized five times for 39 yards, lost a fumble, and had two passes intercepted.  Paul L. Dunbar recorded three first downs and 131 yards of total offense.  The Bulldogs were penalized four times for 35 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

Dominique Hawkins led Madison Central’s ground game with 150 yards on 17 carries.  Hunter Stocker completed eight of 20 passes for 142 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions.  Sam Jones caught two passes for 38 yards and a touchdown.  Dominique Hawkins caught a 38 yard touchdown pass.  Tucker Fair led the defense with four solo and four assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling six yards.  Taylor Nunley added three solo and three assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling five yards.  Brandon Parks recorded two solo and two assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 19 yards.  Austin Coyle scored on a 60 yard fumble recovery return.

Brandyn Duncan led Paul L. Dunbar’s ground game with 15 yards on seven carries.  Emory Thompson completed four of eight passes for 132 yards and two touchdowns with one interception.  Taylor Smith caught two passes for 67 yards and a touchdown.  Brandyn Duncan caught a 62 yard touchdown pass.  Andre Jones led the defense with nine solo and eight solo tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 11 yards and scored on a 94 yard interception return.  Cameron Pergram added four solo and six assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling six yards.

Scott County continues to roll with a 40-6 victory over George Rogers Clark to improve their season record to 5-1.  George Rogers Clark falls to 0-5 for the year.  Scott County continues to get huge results from their ground game as they averaged 9.8 yards per carry on 37 rushing attempts.  QB Clay McKee had a productive night throwing for two touchdowns.  Scott County recorded 18 first downs and 447 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized 13 times for 92 yards and lost a fumble.  George Rogers Clark recorded 11 first downs and 237 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized six times for 60 yards and had a pass intercepted.

Kevo Edwards led Scott County’s ground game with 235 yards and three touchdowns on eight carries.  Dierries Dumphord added 80 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries.  Clay McKee completed four of five passes for 83 yards and two touchdowns.  Scott Daniel caught three passes for 33 yards and a touchdown.  Thomas Daniel caught a 50 yard scoring pass.  Jervon Christopher led the defense with six solo and two assisted tackles.  Damon Gray added five solo and three assisted tackles and Grayson Miller recorded five solo and two assisted tackles.  Palmer Ward also punted twice for a 46.5 yard average.

C.D. Spight led George Rogers Clark’s ground game with 74 yards and a touchdown on seven carries.  Luke Sharrock carried the ball 11 times for 42 yards.  Darian Skinner completed two of four passes for 47 yards with one interception.  Davon Marshall caught one pass for 40 yards.  Skylan Mayes led the defense with six solo and four assisted tackles.  Tevin Williams added four solo and two assisted tackles.

Henry Clay raced out to a 13-0 lead in the second quarter but it was all Lafayette the rest of the way as they captured a 42-21 decision over the Blue Devils to even their record at 3-3.  Henry Clay falls to 3-3 for the season.  Henry Clay fumbled the ball nine times tonight but only lost one fumble.  Lafayette recorded 17 first downs and 455 yards of total offense.  The Generals were penalized 11 times for 91 yards, lost a fumble, and had two passes intercepted.  Henry Clay recorded 14 first downs and 240 yards of total offense.  The Blue Devils were penalized five times for 65 yards, lost a fumble, and had three passes intercepted.

Kylan Nelson led Lafayette’s ground game with 140 yards and three touchdowns on 18 carries.  Garrett Peavler completed 15 of 26 passes for 299 yards and three touchdowns with two interceptions.  Tranard Chester caught six passes for 160 yards and three touchdowns.  Darius Hughes added three receptions for 55 yards.  Justin Carr led the defense with six solo and seven assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling four yards.  Nick Lincavage recorded six solo tackles, four assisted tackles, and two interceptions.  Malik Robinson recorded four solo and five assisted tackles.

Elijah Bell led Henry Clay’s ground game with 134 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries.  Rhoman James completed three of seven passes for 30 yards with one interception.  Sammy Carter completed two of five passes for 27 yards with two interceptions.  Elijah Bell caught two passes for 27 yards.  Logan Gross added two receptions for 20 yards.  Cole McCarty led the defense with five solo and three assisted tackles.  Jack Hellmann added three solo and four assisted tackles.  Dearion Jones scored on a 92 yard interception return.
