Scott County defeated Bryan Station 40-20 in a game where both teams combined for 27 penalties totaling 253 yards.  Scott County recorded 20 first downs and 349 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized 14 times for 120 yards, lost three fumbles, and had one pass intercepted.  Bryan Station recorded 14 first downs and 352 yards of total offense.  The Defenders were penalized 13 times for 133 yards and had two passes intercepted.

Dieries Dumphord led Scott County’s ground game with 195 yards and a touchdown on 32 carries.  Kevo Edwards carried the ball 13 times for 68 yards.  Clay McKee completed three of six passes for 43 yards and a touchdown with one interception.  Scott Daniel caught two passes for 26 yards and a touchdown.  Je. Christopher led the defense with six solo tackles.  Patrick Murray added four solo and one assisted tackles and intercepted a pass.  Grayson Miller recorded two solo and three assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 18 yards.

S. Harrington led Bryan Station’s ground game with 15 yards on seven carries.  Ora Johnson completed 20 of 50 passes for 339 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions.  Kenyon Hipps caught seven passes for 169 yards and two touchdowns.  Marcus Floyd added seven passes for 124 yards.  Elijah Burdette led the defense with eight solo and three assisted tackles.  Jam. Robertson added six solo and four assisted tackles.  Michael Morton recorded six solo and three assisted tackles and recovered a fumble.  Jayron Johnson added four solo and two assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 18 yards.

Tates Creek defeated George Rogers Clark by a score of 46-39 tonight in a high scoring shootout.  Tates Creek recorded 21 first downs and 347 yards of total offense.  The Commodores were penalized six times for 43 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.  George Rogers Clark recorded 25 first downs and 500 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized seven times for 56 yards, lost three fumbles, and had two passes intercepted.

Dennis Oxendine led Tates Creek’s ground game with 55 yards and two touchdowns on seven carries.  Casey Grimes carried the ball nine times for 39 yards.  Graham Gordon completed 19 of 24 passes for 232 yards and three touchdowns with one interception.  Dennis Oxendine caught seven passes for 109 yards and one touchdown.  R.J. Taylor added six receptions for 64 yards and a touchdown.  Tavon Dunn caught three passes for 30 yards and a touchdown.  Ryan Betlach led the defense with five solo and six assisted tackles.  Eamon Nasr added three solo and six assisted tackles.  Jay Rayford recorded two solo and seven assisted tackles and recovered a fumble.

C.D. Spight led George Rogers Clark’s ground game with 116 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries.  Luke Sharrock carried the ball 12 times for 89 yards and three touchdowns.  Davon Marshall added 70 yards on six carries.  Luke Sharrock completed 15 of 24 passes for 172 yards and one touchdown with two interceptions.  Davon Marshall caught seven passes for 75 yards.  Tanner Rose added three receptions for 45 yards.  Brent Stoneking caught two passes for 24 yards and a touchdown.  Jaylen Abbott led the defense with two solo and 10 assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 10 yards.  Wesley Wattenberger added four solo and three assisted tackles.  Anthony Lay recorded three solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 11 yards.

Paul L. Dunbar trailed 19-7 midway through the final period but rallied for a 22-19 victory over Henry Clay.  The fireworks began for the victors as Brandyn Duncan returned a punt 77 yards to the Henry Clay one yard line.  Antwan Williams scored on a six yard run and Levi Clark kicked the extra point to cut the deficit to five; 19-14 with 2:29 left on the clock.  Paul L. Dunbar recovered an onside kick on the ensuing kickoff and Trent Bauer connected with Emory Thompson and a two point conversion pass from Bauer to Brandyn Duncan to make the score 22-19.  Brandyn Duncan ensured the victory with an interception at the Dunbar eight yard line with 1:07 remaining on the clock.  Henry Clay was plagued with penalties (12 for 143 yards) and five turnovers tonight.

Paul L. Dunbar recorded 10 first downs and 195 yards of total offense.  The Bulldogs were penalized seven times for 51 yards, lost two fumbles, and had two passes intercepted.  Henry Clay recorded 20 first downs and 290 yards of total offense.  The Blue Devils were penalized 12 times for 143 yards, lost a fumble, and had four passes intercepted.

Antwan Williams led the Dunbar ground game with 95 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries.  Trent Bauer completed seven of 24 passes for 118 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions.  Brandyn Duncan caught four passes for 32 yards.  Emory Thompson and Taylor Smith added touchdown receptions of 50 and 31 yards respectively.  Andre Jones led the defense with seven solo and seven assisted tackles.  Cameron Pergram added five solo and four assisted tackles.  Luke Daily recorded five solo and three assisted tackles with 3.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling eight yards.  Brandyn Duncan added three solo and five assisted tackles, recovered a fumble, and intercepted two passes.

Elijah Bell led Henry Clay’s ground attack with 162 yards and a touchdown on 29 carries.  Davion Jackson carried the ball 17 times for 104 yards and two touchdowns.  Sammy Carter completed four of 16 passes for 39 yards with four interceptions.  Austin Black caught three passes for 30 yards.  Jamaal Maddox led the defense with six solo tackles.  Cole McCarty added two solo and four assisted tackles.

Madison Central defeated Tates Creek 45-38 in an offensive shootout tonight.  Madison Central recorded 23 first downs and 509 yards of total offense.  The Indians were penalized 11 times for 79 yards and had one pass intercepted.  Tates Creek recorded 15 first downs and 314 yards of total offense.  The Commodores were penalized six times for 40 yards and lost a fumble.

Dominique Hawkins led Madison Central’s ground game with 207 yards and three touchdowns on 22 carries.  Ken’Jah Bosley carried the ball three times for 57 yards.  Hunter Stocker completed 10 of 20 passes for 186 yards and two touchdowns with one interception.  Ken’Jah Bosley caught five passes for 86 yards and two touchdowns.  Tucker Fair added two receptions for 58 yards.  Tucker Fair led the defense with five solo and five assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totaling seven yards.  Cam. Hatchett added six solo and two assisted tackles.  Brandon Parks recorded four solo and four assisted tackles with 3.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling nine yards.

Dennis Oxendine led Tates Creek’s ground game with 34 yards on eight carries.  Graham Gordon completed 15 of 29 passes for 201 yards and three touchdowns with.  Jake Ryan completed two of three passes for 69 yards and a touchdown.  R.J. Taylor caught seven passes for 118 yards and two touchdowns.  Tavon Dunn caught four passes for 55 yards and a touchdown.  Casey Grimes added three receptions for 73 yards and a touchdown.  Eamon Nasr led the defense with seven solo and four assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totaling seven yards.  Ryan Betlach added three solo and four assisted tackles. Jovan Blackburn recorded four solo and two assisted tackles.

Lafayette defeated George Rogers Clark by a score of 35-13.  Lafayette recorded 19 first downs and 373 yards of total offense.  The Generals were penalized eight times for 56 yards.  George Rogers Clark recorded nine first downs and 216 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized four times for 19 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

Kylan Nelson led Lafayette’s ground game with 119 yards and two touchdowns on 23 carries.  Garrett Peavler completed 17 of 27 passes for 260 yards and three touchdowns.  Darius Hughes caught six passes for 76 yards.  Brandon Epps added four receptions for 52 yards and a touchdown.  Josh Dunn added three receptions for 45 yards.  Kylan Nelson caught two passes for 52 yards and a touchdown.   Justin Carr led the defense with 11 solo and two assisted tackles with three of his losses resulting in losses totaling nine yards.  Drew Horseman added three solo and three assisted tackles.  Noah Brown recorded three solo and two assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling five yards.

Darian Skinner led George Rogers Clark’s ground game with 135 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries.  Davon Marshall carried the ball five times for 42 yards.  Luke Sharrock completed one of three passes for seven yards with one interception.  Brent Stoneking caught one pass for seven yards.  Davon Marshall led the defense with seven solo and two assisted tackles.  Jaylen Abbott added four solo and three assisted tackles with three of his losses resulting in losses totaling 11 yards.  Bobby Powell also recorded four solo and three assisted tackles.

Anderson county trailed 20-7 at halftime but rallied in the second half to defeat West Jessamine by a score of 41-39.  It was a study of contrasts tonight as Anderson County’s aerial attack accounted for 373 yards and four touchdowns while all of West Jessamine’s 408 yards came as a result of their powerful ground attack.  Anderson County recorded 20 first downs and 438 yards of total offense.  The Bearcats were penalized three times for 25 yards, lost a fumble, and had three passes intercepted.  West Jessamine recorded 16 first downs and 408 yards of total offense.  The Colts were penalized four times for 28 yards and lost two fumbles.

Zach Carmichael led Anderson County’s ground game with 39 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries.  Zach Carmichael completed 21 of 28 passes for 373 yards and four touchdowns with three interceptions.  Ross Cox caught 10 passes for 221 yards and four touchdowns.  Granville Hayes added eight receptions for 103 yards.  Huston Page led the defense with two solo and 12 assisted tackles.  Landon Searcy added three solo and six assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling six yards.  Sam Laytart recorded two solo and eight assisted tackles.

Devin Taylor led West Jessamine’s ground game with 324 yards and four touchdowns on 36 carries.  Ryan Horne carried the ball seven times for 66 yards and a touchdown.  West Jessamine only attempted one pass and it was incomplete.  Luke Davis led the defense with four solo and two assisted tackles.  Hunter Knuckles added three solo and four assisted tackles and intercepted a pass which he returned 28 yards.  Te Gatobu recorded two solo and four assisted tackles and recovered a fumble.

Lexington Catholic earned a 56-14 victory on the road over Taylor County a week after losing star QB Kyle Bolin with an ACL injury.  Lexington Catholic improves to 7-1 while Taylor County falls to 4-3 for the season.  Lexington Catholic recorded 18 first downs and 476 yards of total offense.  The Knights were penalized 11 times for 152 yards, lost a fumble, and had two passes intercepted.  Taylor County recorded 12 first downs and 306 yards of total offense.  They were penalized five times for 36 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

Malik Guidry led Lexington Catholic’s ground game with 85 yards and a touchdown on three carries.  Jaylen Jones carried the ball three times for 78 yards and a touchdown.  Marcelis Logan carried the ball five times for 70 yards and two touchdowns.  Reese Ryan completed 12 of 23 passes for 162 yards and three touchdowns with one interception.  Casey Nash caught three passes for 58 yards.  David Bouvier added three receptions for 36 yards and two touchdowns.  Amoh Kumengisa caught two passes for 27 yards and a touchdown.  Alex Nash led the defense with five solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling six yards.  Chase Boling added three solo and three assisted tackles.  Chris Noll recorded two solo and five assisted tackles.  Sawyer Shelton scored a touchdown on a 29 yard interception return.

Daulton Turpin led the Taylor County ground game with 230 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries.  Hunter Christie completed one of three passes for 17 yards with one interception.  Daulton Turpin caught one pass for 17 yards.   Marquis Johnson led the defense with seven solo and one assisted tackles.  Josh Benningfield added four solo tackles and two interceptions.  Ryan Cox recorded three solo and one assisted tackles.

Scott County continues to march toward the playoffs with a 69-34 victory over Henry Clay to improve their record to 6-1 for the season.  Henry Clay falls to 3-5.  Scott County recorded 21 first downs and 499 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized eight times for 88 yards and lost a fumble.  Henry Clay recorded 19 first downs and 346 yards of total offense.  The Blue Devils were penalized four times for 18 yards, lost two fumbles, and had a pass intercepted.

Dierries Dumphord led Scott County’s ground game with 143 yards and two touchdowns on 23 carries.  Kevo Edwards carried the ball 11 times for 78 yards and two touchdowns.  Clay McKee completed six of seven passes for 224 yards and four touchdowns.  Scott Daniel caught three passes for 156 yards and two touchdowns.  Thomas Daniel added two receptions for 63 yards and two touchdowns.  Conner Owens led the defense with one solo and eight assisted tackles.  Scott Daniel added four solo tackles.  Grayson Miller recorded three solo and one assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 23 yards.  Miller also scored on a 26 yard fumble recovery return.

Elijah Bell led Henry Clay’s ground game with 158 yards and two touchdowns on 10 carries.  Davion Jackson carried the ball eight times for 70 yards.  Sammy Carter completed 12 of 20 passes for 225 yards and two touchdowns with one interception.  Austin Black caught six passes for 131 yards and a touchdown.  Elijah Bell added a 51 yard scoring reception.  Anthony Lindsey led the defense with four solo and five assisted tackles.  Jalen Ludwig and Elijah Gibbs added three solo and five assisted tackles each.
