Tates Creek coach Tina Winn started the following lineup: 5-8 Sr. Dominique Etling-Turner, 5-6 So. Haley Blackburn, 5-9 Sr. Katie Pippen,5-5 Sr. Lexi Whaley, and 5-6 Sr. Oney Harrison.  Lafayette coach Allison Denton countered with 6-0 Jr. Sarah Cooley, 5-11 So. Dee Givens, 6-3 So. Ashanti Thomas, 5-6 Jr. Megumi Nagahiro, and 5-7 Jr. Ken’yale Demus.

Lafayette’s size advantage was evident today as they enjoyed a 58-32 advantage in rebounds and held an 18-8 advantage in second effort points in a 71-53 victory over Tates Creek.  Lafayette shot 38.6% from the field including three of 14 from the three point line.  The Lady generals connected on 24 of 48 free throws, pulled down 58 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 20 Tates Creek turnovers.  Tates Creek shot 27.5% from the field including three of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Commodores connected on 22 of 30 free throws, pulled  down 32 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 19 Lafayette turnovers.

Ashanti Thomas led Lafayette with 19 points and 14 rebounds.  Ken’yale Demus added 17 points, nine rebounds, and five assists.  Dee Givens chipped in with 14 points, six rebounds, and five steals.  Sarah Cooley recorded seven points, 10 rebounds, and two steals.

Oney Harrison led Tates Creek with 15 points and four rebounds.  Dominique Etling-Turner added 13 points.  Katie Pippen chipped in with 12 points and eight rebounds. Lexi Whaley recorded 10 points and eight rebounds.

Scott County defeated Perry County Central by a score of 56-48.  Scott county shot 42% from the field including four of 17 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on 10 of 21 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 21 Perry County Central turnovers.  Perry County Central shot 36.1% from the field including three of nine from beyond the arc.  The Commodores connected on 19 of 32 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 13 Scott County turnovers.

Trent Gilbert led Scott County with 18 points including four three point baskets.  Quin Richardson also recorded 18 points.  6-2 Sr. Jalen Haddix added 11 points and seven rebounds.

Dalton Cornett led Perry County Central with 15 points, 14 rebounds, and three steals.  Braxton Beverly added 14 points and five rebounds.  Darryl Beatty chipped in with 10 points including two three point baskets.

Burton Blake, and 6-1 Sr. Taylor Gover.  Bryan Station coach Mike Allen countered with 6-1 Jr. Daquice Allen, 6-3 Sr. Tyler Smith, 6-0 Sr. Matthew Hunter, 6-0Jr. Jordan Henry, and 6-1 Jr. Marcellous Washington.

Bryan Station defeated Pulaski County by a score of 72-62.  Bryan Station shot 42.6% from the field including eight of 24 from the three point line.  The Defenders connected on 18 of 27 free throws, pulled down 46 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 11 Pulaski County turnovers.  Pulaski County shot 32.8% from the field including five of 25 from beyond the arc.  The Maroons connected on 25 of 27 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 13 Bryan Station turnovers.

6-3 Sr. Larry Morton led Bryan Station with 28 points and 10 rebounds.  Morton was seven of 13 from the field including two of five from beyond the arc, and 12 of 15 from the free throw line.  Marcellus Washington added 21 points including five three point baskets.  Washington was seven of 12 from the field including five of 10 from beyond the arc and two of three from the free throw line.

Kody Johnson led Pulaski County with 16 points and eight rebounds.  Taylor Gover added 15 points including three three  point baskets.  Tyler Goins recorded 12 points and 12 rebounds.

Anderson County raced out to an early lead and was never threatened in a 59-36 victory over Lexington Catholic.  Anderson County shot 39% from the field including 10 of 27 from the three point line.  The Lady Bearcats connected on three of five free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored nine points off 11 Lexington Catholic turnovers.  Lexington Catholic shot 37.8% from the field including two of 11 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Knights connected on six of 14 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored four points off six Anderson County turnovers.

MacKenzie Cann led Anderson County with 22 points including five three point baskets.  Eriel McKee added 10 points, eight rebounds, four assists, and three steals.  Alex Avitt chipped in with eight points and six rebounds.  Kali Whiteside recorded six points, 11 rebounds, three assists, and three blocked shots.

Rachel Blake led Lexington Catholic with 10 points.  Octavia Wilson and Sara Cawood added seven points each.  Caroline Lynch recorded six points, five rebounds, and three assists.

Madison Central scored 41 points off 32 North Laurel turnovers in a 62-29 victory.  Madison Central shot 50.9% from the field including one of 12 from the three point line.  The Lady Indians connected on seven of 15 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and held a 12-0 advantage in bench scoring.  North Laurel shot 27.8% from the field including four of 13 from beyond the arc.  North Laurel shot only 10% from the field (2 of 20) in the second half.  The Lady Jaguars connected on five of nine free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored eight points off 16 Madison Central turnovers.

Ashton Feldhaus led Madison Central with 17 points and five assists.  Larryn Brooks added 15 points, five assists, and five steals.  Heather Hinkle chipped in with nine points.

Hannah Gray led North Laurel with 10 points.  Hannah Lawson added eight points and Ashley Wyatt pulled down eight rebounds.

Madison Central coach Robert Cooksey started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Ashton Feldhaus, 5-9 Sr. Heather Hinkle, 6-2 Jr. Shadae Bosley, 5-5 Jr. Bailey O’Bryan, and 5-5 Sr. Larryn Brooks.  Bryan Station coach Donna Murphy countered with 5-8 Sr. Deshante Clay, 5-10 Jr. Victoria McCoy, 6-1 Sr. Hallie Crumbie, 5-11 Fr. Bairesha Gill, and 5-8 Sr. Serena Sandusky.

Bryan Station led 26-15 in the second quarter and 46-39 early in the final quarter but Madison Central rallied behind a phenomenal effort by Larryn Brooks to earn a 62-57 victory.  Brooks tallied 35 points for the night including 26 points in the second half with 16 coming in the final quarter.  Bryan Station chances were hampered when Serena Sandusky fouled out with 4:41 to go in the game.

Madison Central shot 52.9% from the field including four of 10 from the three point line.  The Lady Indians connected on 22 of 31 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 18 Bryan Station turnovers.  Bryan Station shot 47.9% from the field including four of 10 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Defenders connected on seven of 14 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 20 Madison central turnovers.  Bryan Station held a 15-0 advantage in bench scoring.

Larryn Brooks led Madison Central with 35 points, five assists, and eight steals.  Brooks was 11 of 14 from the field including two of four from the three point line, and 11 of 11 from the free throw line.  Shadae Bosley and Heather Hinkle each recorded nine points and seven rebounds.  Ashton Feldhaus also recorded nine points.

Bairesha Gill led Bryan Station with 15 points and six rebounds.  5-9 Jr. Lakeysha Stennis also scored 15 points including three three point baskets.  Serena Sandusky added nine points.

Jeremiah Tisdale, and 6-1 Jr. Christen Cunningham.

Bullitt East outscored Henry Clay 22-6 in the third quarter on their way to a 58-55 victory.  Henry Clay trailed 48-35 after three quarters and withstood a Henry Clay rally in the final period.  Bullitt East shot 41.5% from the field including four of 14 from the three point line.  The Chargers connected on 10 of 12 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 17 Henry Clay turnovers.  Henry Clay shot 38.2% from the field including four of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Blue Devils connected on nine of 17 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 15 Bullitt East turnovers.

Ryan Schneider.

Franklin county led 47-41 at halftime but West Jessamine shot a blazing 74.3% from the field in the second half to rally for a 99-82 victory.  West Jessamine shot 70.7% from the field including three of eight from the three point line.  The Colts connected on 14 of 20 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 30 points off 25 Franklin County turnovers.  Franklin County shot 51.5% from the field including three of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Flyers connected on 11 of 16 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored 24 points off 19 West Jessamine turnovers.

6-2 Sr. Robby Irgang came off the bench to lead West Jessamine with 23 points.  Irgang was 11 of 13 from the field and one of two from the free throw line.  Daulton Peters added 18 points.  Chase Fain chipped in with 16 points and Will Henderson recorded 15 points and nine assists.  6-3 Jr. Tanner Richards also reached double figures with 10 points.

Conner Meyer led Franklin County with 17 points.  6-2 Jr. Sam MacKey and 6-3 Jr. Chris Roberts added 12 and 11 points respectively.  Jimmy Harrod and 6-0 Jr. Lorenzo McCaskell each recorded 10 points.
