West Jessamine coach Damon Kelley started the following lineup: 6-3 Jr. Tanner Richards, 6-2 Sr. Robby Irgang, 6-4 Sr. Chase Fain, 6-0 Jr. Will Henderson, and 6-3 Jr. Daulton Peters. East Jessamine coach Chris O’Bryan countered with 6-2 So. Ronnie Carson, 6-0 Sr. Taylor Harper, 6-2 Sr. Timmy Bradshaw, 5-8 So. Hayden Smith, and 6-0 Sr. Mike Jones.
East Jessamine avenged an earlier loss to West Jessamine with a 74-68 victory over the Colts tonight. There were three lead changes and seven ties in this game. East Jessamine shot 44.9% from the field including a robust 13 of 26 from the three point line. The Jaguars connected on 17 of 21 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 11 points off eight West Jessamine turnovers. West Jessamine shot 45% from the field including four of 17 from beyond the arc. The Colts connected on 10 of 12 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 12 East Jessamine turnovers.
Taylor Harper led East Jessamine with 22 points and seven rebounds. Timmy Bradshaw added 21 points including six three point baskets and six rebounds. Mike Jones chipped in with 11 points. Ronnie Carson recorded nine points, eight rebounds, and 15 assists.
Daulton Peters led West Jessamine with 18 points. Chase Fain added 17 points, seven rebounds, and four assists. Will Henderson chipped in with 14 points, four rebounds, five assists, and four steals. Robby Irgang also reached double figures with 10 points.
