Clay County coach Robert Marcum started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Stephon Lyttle, 6-2 Sr. Kody Reed, 6-3 Sr. Marty Bowling, 5-11 So. Tyler McDaniel, and 6-1 Sr. Jarrod Rice.  Knott County Central coach B.B. King countered with 6-3 So. Simon Christon, 6-3 So. Chance Cornett, 6-7 So. Evan Hall, 5-10 Sr. Corey Short, and 6-2 So. Camron Justice.

Knott County Central trailed 17-9 after the first quarter but rallied to outscore Clay County 22-6 to lead 31-23 at halftime on their way to a 68-54 victory.  Knott County Central outscored Clay County 25-10 from the free throw line and Clay County lost three starters Marty Bowling, Kody Reed, and Jarrod Rice via the foul route.  Knott County Central shot 40.4% from the field including five of 15 from the three point line.  The Patriots connected on 25 of 32 free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored three points off eight Clay County turnovers.  Clay County shot 31.1% from the field including six of 29 from beyond the arc.  The Tigers connected on 10 of 17 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 15 Knott County Central turnovers.

Camron Justice led Knott County Central with 29 points including 13 of 15 free throws, nine rebounds, and four assists.  Simon Christon added 12 points and eight rebounds.  Corey Short added 11 points including three three point baskets.  Chance Cornett recorded 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Tyler McDaniel led Clay County with 21 points and nine rebounds.  Jarrod Rice added 12 points and Kody Reed chipped in with 10 points.

Truman Salyer, 5-11 Jr. Slade McPeek, 6-8 Jr. Shane Hall, 5-6 So. Dalton Adkins, and 5-11 So. Braxton Blair.

Ballard attempted 29 more shots (69-40) from the field than Johnson Central in a 75-54 victory.  Ballard shot 43-5% from the field including four of 21 from the three point line.  The Bruins connected on 11 of 20 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 26 points off 25 Johnson Central turnovers.  Johnson Central shot 50% from the field including three of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Golden Eagles connected on 11 of 23 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored nine points off 14 Ballard turnovers.

Kelan Martin led Ballard with 22 points and eight rebounds.  Quinten Snider added 16 points, eight rebounds, and five assists.  Lavonne Holland chipped in with 12 points and six steals.

Shane Hall led Johnson Central with 28 points and eight rebounds.  Hall was 10 of 11 from the field and eight of 11 from the free throw line.  6-6 So. Kyle Gullett added 11 points and seven rebounds.  Braxton Blair chipped in with 10 points and four assists.

John Hardin coach Mark Wells started the following lineup: 6-4 Sr. Ricky Burns, 6-3 Sr. Daveon Greene, 6-4 Jr. Keon Williams, 5-9 Sr. Brandon Price, and 5-10 Jr. Patrick Anderson.  Fleming County coach Mark Starns countered with 6-3 Sr. Desmond McAdams, 6-1 Jr. Brady Saunders, 6-4 Jr. Troy Steward, 5-11 Jr. Darion Burns, and 6-1 Jr. Austin Crisp.

John Hardin controlled the boards outrebounding Fleming County 45-23 and holding a 22-8 advantage in second chance points in a 79-69 victory.  John Hardin shot 45.6% from the field including zero of five from the three point line.  The Bulldogs connected on 17 of 19 free throws, pulled down 45 rebounds, and scored 10 points off eight Fleming County turnovers.  Fleming County shot 48.1% from the field including two of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Panthers connected on 15 of 21 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 10 John Hardin turnovers.

Brandon Price led John Hardin with 20 points, four rebounds, and six assists.  Keon Williams added 19 points and 12 rebounds.  Daveon Greene chipped in with 14 points and seven rebounds.  Ricky Burns recorded 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Darion Burns led Fleming County with 20 points, five assists, and three steals.  Brady Saunders added 17 points and Troy Steward chipped in with 13 points and four blocked shots.  Austin Crisp also reached double figures with 11 points.

Montgomery County coach Happy Osborne started the following lineup: 6-6 Sr. Omar Prewitt, 6-3 Jr. Darius Jones, 6-4 So. Chase Hall, 6-0 Sr. Tyler Jones, and 6-0 Jr. Bryan Wallace.  Warren Central coach William Unseld countered with 6-3 Jr. Byron Carver, 6-1 Jr. Rondell Green, 6-4 Jr. Chris Porter-Bunton, 5-10 Sr. Nay Walker, and 5-11 Sr. Kaelon Dickerson.

Montgomery County defeated Warren Central by a score of 71-63.  Warren Central rallied in the third quarter to cut the deficit to one; 51-50 after three quarters.  Montgomery County rallied in the final quarter for the victory.  Montgomery County shot 46.7% from the field including six of 10 from the three point line.  The Indians connected on nine of 14 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 13 Warren Central turnovers.  Warren Central shot 43.3% from the field including three of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Dragons connected on eight of 15 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored nine points off five Montgomery County turnovers.

Omar Prewitt led Montgomery County with 29 points including four three point baskets, 11 rebounds, and four blocked shots.  Bryan Wallace added 17 points and four steals.  Chase Hall chipped in with nine points and five rebounds.

Byron Carver led Warren Central with 20 points and nine rebounds.  Chris Porter-Bunton added 18 points and seven rebounds.  Rondell Green chipped in with eight points and 10 rebounds.  Kaelon Dickerson recorded eight points including two three point baskets.

Jaqualis Matlock, 6-5 Jr. Jamonte Davis, 6-1 Sr. T.J. Elam, and 6-2 So. Tra Edwards.

Hopkinsville shot a sizzling 64.4% from the field in a 74-52 victory over South Oldham.  Hopkinsville was six of 14 from the three point line.  The Tigers connected on 10 of 16 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 10 South Oldham turnovers.  South Oldham shot 29.2% from the field including six of 28 from beyond the arc.  The Dragons connected on eight of 13 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 17 Hopkinsville turnovers.

Jordan Majors led Hopkinsville with 20 points including three three point baskets.  Jaqualis Matlock added 18 points, 17 rebounds, and four assists.  Tra Edwards chipped in with 16 points.

Matthew Haysley led South Oldham with 14 points including three three point baskets and five rebounds.  6-0 Sr. Devonte Jones added seven points and five rebounds.  Shae Goodlett also scored seven points.

Ohio County coach Paul Decker started the following lineup: 6-4 Sr. Preston Lambrich, 6-4 Sr. Jonathan Wortham, 6-7 Jr. B.J. Morse, 6-0 Jr. Trevor Lewis, and 6-0 Jr. Trent Hall.  Graves County coach Terry Birdsong countered with 6-3 Jr. Peyton Puckett, 6-3 Jr. Zach Kimbler, 6-3 Jr. Jake Williams, 5-10 Sr. Mason Beale, and 6-2 Sr. Tyler Starkey.

Graves County took an early lead and responded to every Ohio County rally to earn a 74-60 victory.  Graves County shot 49% from the field including five of 10 from the three point line.  The Eagles connected on 21 of 32 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 13 points off nine Ohio County turnovers.  Ohio County shot 41.8% from the field including six of 19 from beyond the arc.  The Eagles connected on eight of 10 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 10 Graves County turnovers.

Zach Kimbler led Graves County with 23 points and nine rebounds.  Jake Williams also scored 23 points including three three point baskets and 12 of 13 free throws.  Peyton Puckett recorded 17 points and seven rebounds.  Mason Beale dished out nine assists.

Preston Lambrich led Ohio County with 19 points including three three point baskets.  Trevor Lewis added 15 points and five assists.  6-5 8th grade Trace Young chipped in with nine points.

Pleasure Ridge Park coach Dale Mabrey started the following lineup: 6-7 Jr. Lamontray Harris, 5-11 Sr. Richard Clemons, 6-6 Sr. Richard Sawyer, 5-10 Jr. Antonio McDaniels, and 6-1 Sr. Taywan Taylor.  Holmes coach Jason Booher countered with 6-2 Sr. Chris Englemon, 6-1 Sr. B.J. Coston, 6-4 Jr. Quinton Chames, 5-10 Sr. Daquan Palmer, and 5-11 So. James Bolden.

Holmes raced out to a 17-10 first quarter lead and held on down the stretch to defeat Pleasure Ridge Park by a score of 65-60.  Holmes shot 38.1% from the field including seven of 12 from the three point line.  The Bulldogs connected on 26 of 35 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored nine points off seven Pleasure Ridge Park turnovers.  Pleasure Ridge Park shot 36.1% from the field including three of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Panthers connected on 13 of 21 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 10 Holmes turnovers.

B.J. Coston led Holmes with 23 points including five three point baskets.  James Bolden added 13 points, five rebounds, and four assists.  Chris Englemon recorded 10 points and 18 rebounds.

Lamontray Harris led Pleasure Ridge Park with 20 points and 12 rebounds.  Antonio McDaniels added 19 points including two three point baskets.

Madison Central coach Allen Feldhaus Jr. started the following lineup: 6-4 Sr. Quan Taylor, 6-1 Sr. Daniel Parke, 6-4 Sr. Hunter Stocker, 5-11 Sr. Ken-Jah Bosley, and 6-1 Sr. Dominique Hawkins.  Wayne County coach Rodney Woods countered with 6-2 So. Peyton Woods, 6-1 Fr. Corey Stearns, 6-0 Sr. Dagan Shelton, 5-9 Jr. Jason Perkins, and 6-0 Fr. Trey Blevins.

The veteran Madison Central squad held a 48-21 advantage in rebounds over a very young Wayne County team and attempted 19 more shots (68-49) from the field in an 81-56 victory.  Madison Central shot 47.1% from the field including six of 14 from the three point line.  The Indians connected on 11 of 22 free throws, pulled down 48 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 14 Wayne County turnovers.  Wayne County shot 40.8% from the field including six of 20 from beyond the arc.  The Cardinals connected on 10 of 15 free throws, pulled down 21 rebounds, and scored eight points off 11 Madison Central turnovers.

Dominique Hawkins led Madison Central with 25 points.  Hawkins was 11 of 17 from the field including one of three from beyond the arc, and two of two from the free throw line.  Ken-Jah Bosley added 19 points and eight rebounds.  Quan Taylor recorded 13 points, 15 rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Daniel Parke chipped in with eight points, three rebounds, four assists, and two steals.

Peyton Woods led Wayne County with 14 points.  Corey Stearns and Trey Blevins added 10 points each.  Jason Perkins chipped in with eight points.

Anderson County rallied from a 10 point deficit late in the fourth quarter to tie the game on an Eriel McKee basket in the closing seconds to tie the game at 63-63.  Anderson County outscored the Lady Pioneers 7-5 in overtime to claim a 70-68 victory.  It looked like Simon Kenton had the game in hand in the closing minutes of regulation but some missed free throws and key turnovers opened the door for Anderson County and the Lady Bearcats took advantage for the win.

5-10 Jr. Eriel McKee led Anderson County with 24 points.  6-0 Sr. Kali Whiteside added 17 points and 19 rebounds.  6-0 Jr. Makenzie Cann also recorded 17 points including four three point baskets.  5-2 So. Corrin Robinson chipped in with 10 points including two three point baskets.

5-2 Jr. Abby Owings led Simon Kenton with 22 points including two three point baskets.  5-5 Jr. Christina Cook added 14 points.  5-10 Sr. Paige Bosse chipped in with 13 points.  5-7 So. Kelsey Schmiade recorded 11 points including two three point baskets.

Marion County showed why they deserve their lofty ranking with an 82-60 victory over a young, but tall and talented squad from LaRue County.  Marion County is a seasoned, veteran squad who appears to be poised for a run at a state title this season while LaRue County had a great season they appear to have their best days ahead of them.  Marion County shot 45.4% from the field including five of 12 from the three point line, connected on 17 of 25 free throws, and pulled down 28 rebounds.  LaRue County shot 38.5% from the field including two of five from beyond the arc, connected on 18 of 21 free throws, and pulled down 44 rebounds.

5-11 Sr. Makayla Epps led Marion County with 28 points and 10 assists.  5-9 Sr. Logan Powell added 27 points and 10 rebounds.  5-4 8th grade Haeli Howard chipped in with 11 points and 5-7 Sr. Patrice Tonge added 10 points and six rebounds.

6-0 Jr. Ivy Brown led LaRue County with 30 points and 15 rebounds.  5-10 So. Alexis Brewer added 24 points and eight rebounds.
