Elizabethtown defeated Bullitt Central by a score of 42-21.  Elizabethtown recorded nine first downs and 388 yards of total offense.  The Panthers were penalized twice for 22 yards and lost a fumble.  Bullitt Central recorded 22 first downs and 469 yards of total offense.  The Cougars were penalized nine times for 71 yards, lost and lost two fumbles.

Berneil Cecil led Elizabethtown’s ground attack with 254 yards and four touchdowns on 17 carries.  Hunt. Sullivan completed three of six passes for 105 yards and a touchdown.  Peyton Payne caught an 88 yard touchdown pass.  Tyson Brown led the defense with three solo and 10 assisted tackles.  Ja. Washington added four solo and seven assisted tackles.  Jack Wilson chipped in with three solo and eight assisted tackles.

Trevor Carnell led Bullitt Central’s ground game with 272 yards and two touchdowns on 37 carries.  Cameron Dukes completed 12 of 21 passes for 78 yards.  Tyler McCarthy caught five passes for 89 yards.  Jason Johns led the defense with four solo tackles.  Austin Calhoun added three solo and one assisted tackles.

Lexington Catholic dominated play tonight in a game that the two teams combined for 10 turnovers to defeat Mercer County by a score of 34-6.  Lexington Catholic recorded 27 first downs and 534 yards of total offense.  The Knights were penalized 12 times for 140 yards, lost three fumbles, and had a pass intercepted.  Mercer County recorded five first downs and 82 yards of total offense.  The Titans were penalized four times for 20 yards, lost five fumbles, and had a pass intercepted.

Reese Ryan led Lexington Catholic’s ground game with 47 yards on seven carries.  Marcelis Logan carried the ball 11 times for 39 yards and two touchdowns.  Eli Mitchell chipped in with 34 yards on four carries.  Reese Ryan completed 23 of 35 passes for 321 yards and three touchdowns with one interception.  David Bouvier caught 10 passes for 158 yards and a touchdown.  Sam Letton added five receptions for 55 yards and a touchdown.  Marcelis Logan recorded four receptions for 52 yards and a touchdown.  Josh Messmer led the defense with seven solo and two assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling five yards and recovered two fumbles.  Marty Brown added seven solo and two assisted tackles with 5.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 19 yards.  Braxton Couch chipped in with three solo and two assisted tackles.  Noah Mitchell recorded two solo and one assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling seven yards and recovered two fumbles.

Kobe Ford led Mercer County’s ground game with 16 yards on seven carries.  Crawley-Goodman completed one of seven passes for 28 yards and a touchdown.  Layne Peavler caught two passes for 32 yards and a touchdown.  Russell Sims led the defense with six solo and two assisted tackles and recovered a fumble.  Juanya Johnson added six solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 11 yards.  Layne Peavler also recorded six solo tackles and intercepted a pass.  B. Bradshaw chipped in with five solo and three assisted tackles.

Henry Clay overcame a courageous effort by Lafayette to earn a 34-23 victory.  Lafayette was without the services of their top two quarterbacks Clay Bolin and Johnny Fangmeyer who were out with injuries.  Lafayette led 16-13 after three quarters by Henry Clay rallied in the final quarter with their final touchdown coming with no time left on the clock.  Henry Clay recorded 24 first downs and 555 yards of total offense.  The Blue Devils were penalized 13 times for 131 yards.  Lafayette recorded 14 first downs and 273 yards of total offense.  The Generals were penalized 10 times for 82 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

Elijah Bell led Henry Clay’s ground attack with 247 yards and three touchdowns on 31 carries.  Davion Jackson carried the ball 19 times for 112 yards and Rhoman James chipped in with 70 yards on two carries.  Sammy Carter completed five of 12 passes for 110 yards and two touchdowns.  Austin Black caught three passes for 59 yards and a touchdown.  Colby Barnes added a 49 yard touchdown reception.  Da. Robinson led the defense with four solo and four assisted tackles.  Sydney Hugle added three solo and two assisted tackles and intercepted a pass that he returned 22 yards.

Kylan Nelson led Lafayette’s ground attack with 106 yards on 16 carries.  Malik Robinson carried the ball six times for 82 yards and a touchdown and Robinson also scored on a 34 yard fumble recovery return.  Kylan Nelson added a touchdown on a 76 yard kickoff return.  Walker Wood completed six of 14 passes for 74 yards with one interception.  Mason Alstatt caught two passes for 42 yards.  Reagan Schlegel led the defense with seven solo and six assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 16 yards.  Mason Alstatt added seven solo and four assisted tackles with one tackle resulting in a two yard loss.  Kylan Nelson recorded six solo and four assisted tackles.

Scott County improves to 6-0 for the season with a 51-13 victory over George Rogers Clark.  Scott County recorded 22 first downs and 526 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized nine times for 103 yards and lost a fumble.  George Rogers Clark recorded 12 first downs and 234 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized six times for 38 yards, lost two fumbles, and had a pass intercepted.

Kevin Clausen led Scott County’s ground game with 126 yards and three touchdowns on 14 carries.  Theo Price carried the ball nine times for 117 yards and a touchdown.  Keith Guy added 115 yards and two touchdowns on four carries.  Clay McKee completed six of 14 passes for 112 yards and a touchdown.  Scott Daniel caught five passes for 68 yards.  Clark Griffith caught a 44 yard touchdown pass.  Thomas Daniel led the defense with one solo and two assisted tackles.  Zach Barber added three solo and two assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling five yards.  Grayson Miller recorded two solo and two assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a two yard loss.

Brent Stoneking led George Roger Clark’s ground game with 47 yards and a touchdown on three carries.  Luke Sharrock completed 12 of 23 passes for 149 yards and a touchdown with one interception.  Khmarkis Blanton caught four passes for 42 yards.  Brent Stoneking added three receptions for 59 yards and a touchdown.  Johnny Jarrett led the defense with seven solo and six assisted tackles.  Tanner Rose added four solo and four assisted tackles.

Bryan Station scored unanswered points to take a 34-3 lead on their way to a 42-32 victory over Tates Creek.  Bryan Station’s speed on both sides of the ball proved to be the difference over a Tates Creek squad that refused to give up as they rallied with three touchdowns to narrow the final margin.  Bryan Station recorded 22 first downs and 404 yards of total offense.  The Defenders were penalized 16 times for 135 yards and had a pass intercepted.  Tates Creek recorded 18 first downs and 318 yards of total offense.  The Commodores were penalized nine times for 66 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

K-CI Carmichael led Bryan Station’s ground attack with 59 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries.  Ora Johnson completed 18 of 30 passes for 266 yards and three touchdowns with one interception.  LaVelle Cloyd caught five passes for 98 yards.  CJ Walker Jr. added four receptions for 77 yards and a touchdown.  Tequan Claitt caught four passes for 60 yards and two touchdowns.  Shane Preston led the defense with three solo and six assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling nine yards.  Jam Robertson added three solo and four assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a one yard loss.  Jesse Tudor recorded five solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a three yard loss.  Greg Gerton chipped in with three solo and two assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling nine yards.

Casey Grimes led Tates Creek’s ground attack with 52 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries.  Graham Gordon completed 18 of 32 passes for 259 yards and three touchdowns with one interception.  RJ Taylor caught seven passes for 123 yards and two touchdowns.  Austin Rogers caught three passes for 54 yards and a touchdown.  Casey Grimes added three receptions for 52 yards.  Max Sweet led the defense with five solo and three assisted tackles.  Casey Grimes and Eamon Nasr each recorded four solo and four assisted tackles.  Kainen Bibb added two solo and two assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling seven yards.  Taiwan Hart also recorded two solo and two assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 20 yards.

Anderson County defeated Montgomery County by a score of 48-20.  Anderson County recorded 19 first downs and 348 yards of total offense.  The Bearcats were penalized five times for 50 yards and lost a fumble.  Montgomery County recorded 14 first downs and 363 yards of total offense.  The Indians were penalized 10 times for 184 yards and had two passes intercepted.

Zach Carmichael led Anderson County’s ground game with 91 yards and two touchdowns on nine carries.  Ross Cox carried the ball twice for 50 yards.  Zach Carmichael completed 11 of 16 passes for 116 yards and three touchdowns.  Tristin Ashburn caught three passes for 32 yards and two touchdowns.  Ross Cox added three receptions for 30 yards and a touchdown.  Ross Cox also scored on an 88 yard kickoff return.  Landon Searcy led the defense with five solo and two assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in an 11 yard loss.  Brayden Russell added three solo and two assisted tackles.  Ross Cox also recorded three solo and two assisted tackles and returned an interception 27 yards for a touchdown.

Chaiten Tomlin led Montgomery County’s ground attack with 56 yards on 11 carries.  Chaiten Tomlin completed 14 of 27 passes for 248 yards and three touchdown with two interceptions.  Chase Hall caught five passes for 98 yards and two touchdowns.  Braxton Hopkins added five catches for 70 yards,  Cody Parsley caught a 46 yard touchdown pass.  Jared Johnson led the defense with six solo and three assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a 16 yard loss.  Trey Estill added four solo tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a one yard loss.

These two teams combined for 761 yards on the ground as Franklin County earned a 42-32 victory over West Jessamine to improve to 6-0 for the season.  West Jessamine falls to 3-3 for the year.  Franklin County recorded 17  first downs and 457 yards of total offense (346 on the ground).  The Flyers were penalized four times for 26 yards, lost two fumbles, and had a pass intercepted.  West Jessamine recorded 19 first down and 491 yards of total offense (415 yards on the ground) as West Jessamine had 64 snaps on offense compared to 37 for Franklin County.  The Colts were penalized four times for 60 yards and lost three fumbles.

Chris Roberts led Franklin County’s ground attack with 208 yards and three touchdowns on 11 carries.  Landon Hurst carried the ball five times for 121 yards and two touchdowns.  Barrett Sanderson completed nine of 13 passes for 111 yards and one touchdown with one interception.  Lorenzo McCaskell caught three passes for 41 yards.  De. Kennedy added two receptions for 48 yards and a touchdown.  Jh. Rodriguez led the defense with seven solo and five assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a three yard loss.  De. Kennedy added three solo and six assisted tackles.  Isaiah Lee recorded four solo and two assisted tackles.

Devin Taylor led West Jessamine’s ground attack with 276 yards and two touchdowns on 39 carries.  Alex Penman carried the ball five times for 65 yards and two touchdowns.  Carter Hahn added 61 yards and a touchdown on seven carries.  Jackson Pearce completed three of seven passes for 76 yards.  Carter Hahn caught two passes for 17 yards.  Alex Penman added a 59 yard reception.  Ian Kossick led the defense with six solo and two assisted tackles.  Alex Penman added three solo tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a five yard loss and intercepted a pass which he returned 12 yards.

Paul Laurence Dunbar captured a big city win with a 21-16 decision over Lafayette.  Dunbar rolled up 310 yards on the ground and intercepted three passes.  Lafayette also had an unlucky break seconds before halftime.  The score was tied 7-7 and Dunbar attempted a 48 yard field goal that fell short and Lafayette’s Mason Alstatt returned the kick 99 yards for an apparent touchdown. However the play was called back for an illegal block and Lafayette missed a 46 yard field goal attempt with no time on the clock.  Dunbar recorded 12 first downs and 325 yards of total offense.  The Bulldogs were penalized six times for 41 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.  Lafayette recorded 15 first downs and 269 yards of total offense.  The Generals were penalized three times for 27 yards and had three passes intercepted.

AJ Williams led Dunbar’s ground attack with 122 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries.  Emory Thompson carried the ball seven times for 84 yards and a touchdown.  Emory Thompson completed one of four passes for 15 yards and a touchdown with one interception.  Cam Pergram caught a 15 yard touchdown pass.  Derante Sanders led the defense with eight solo and seven assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling seven yards.  Luke Daily added five solo and three assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling eight yards.  Nick Edge also recorded five solo and three assisted tackles.  Jmaurion Dunn, Cam Pergram, and Emory Thompson each intercepted a pass.

Malik Robinson led Lafayette’s ground game with 79 yards an 11 carries.  Kylan Nelson carried the ball 10 times for 44 yards and a touchdown.  Clay Bolin completed 12 of 23 passes for 113 yards with three interceptions.  D. Jackson caught five passes for 49 yards.  Taylor Cobb led the defense with five solo and one assisted tackles.  Evan Shaw added four solo and two assisted tackles.  Devon Quincey recorded two solo and two assisted tackles, recovered a fumble, and intercepted a pass.
