Boyle County improves to 7-0 with a 22-13 victory over Lexington Catholic. Boyle County led 19-13 with approximately three minutes left in the game and Lexington Catholic in possession of the ball. Levi McKinney intercepted a Reese Ryan pass setting up and insurance 30 yard field goal by Addison Coffey with 30 seconds remaining on the clock to make the score 22-13. Boyle County recorded 12 first downs and 266 yards of total offense. The Rebels were penalized six times for 43 yards. Lexington Catholic recorded 14 first downs and 330 yards of total offense. The Knights were penalized seven times for 47 yards and had three passes intercepted.

Seph Burke led Boyle County’s ground game with 87 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries. Aiden Stewart-Hoskins added 49 yards on nine carries. Josiah Robbins completed six of 11 passes for 94 yards. Levi McKinney caught four passes for 67 yards. Addison Coffey punted four times for a 42.0 average with a long punt of 52 yards. Eric Brown led the defense with five solo and one assisted tackles and one interception. Justin Roution added five solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 17 yards. Levi McKinney recorded four solo and two assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a four yard loss and intercepted one pass.

Marcelis Logan led Lexington Catholic’s ground game with 93 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries. Carter Gray carried the ball three times for 31 yards. Reese Ryan completed 12 of 28 passes for 181 yards and a touchdown with three interceptions. David Bouvier caught five passes for 95 yards. Justin Brownell added two receptions for 36 yards. Sam Letton caught a 37 yard touchdown pass. Josh Messmer led the defense with nine solo and one assisted tackles. Marty Brown added seven solo and one assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling eight yards. Braxton Couch recorded seven solo and one assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling six yards.

Anderson County utilized their powerful ground game (54 carries 387 yards five touchdown) to roll over Woodford County by a score of 38-3. Anderson County recorded 20 first downs and 420 yards of total offense. The Bearcats were penalized three times for 20 yards. Woodford County recorded eight first downs and 189 yards of total offense. The Yellow Jackets were penalized twice for 10 yards, lost two fumbles, and had a pass intercepted.

Ross Cox led Anderson County’s ground game with 100 yards and a touchdown on six carries. Ryan Martin carried the ball five times for 95 yards and a touchdown. Zach Carmichael recorded 90 yards on 16 carries. Chris Toomey carried the ball 15 times for 69 yards. Sam Laytart added 23 yards and three touchdowns on eight carries. Zach Carmichael completed three of 10 passes for 33 yards. Dusty Puckett caught one pass for 22 yards. Ross Cox led the defense with four solo and one assisted tackles. Huston Page added two solo and three assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling five yards. Landon Searcy recorded seven assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling five yards.

Max Andreoni led Woodford County’s ground game with 75 yards on three carries. Trey Thurmond completed 12 of 24 passes for 104 yards with one interception. Kainan Hudson caught four passes for 53 yards. Cesar Mejia led the defense with eight solo and 12 assisted tackles. Emir Bernabe added three solo and eight assisted tackles. Logan Hart recorded two solo and 10 assisted tackles.

Tates Creek was held to a net 16 yards on the ground as Dixie Heights rolled to a 40-6 victory. Dixie Heights recorded 22 first downs and 400 yards of total offense. They were penalized five times for 25 yards. Tates Creek recorded 13 first downs and 224 yards of total offense. The Commodores were penalized three times for 15 yards, lost a fumble, and had three passes intercepted.

Darion Washington led Dixie Heights ground attack with 120 yards and three touchdowns on 11 carries. Seth Caple carried the ball eight times for 81 yards and a touchdown. Ben Owens carried the ball seven times for 35 yards and two touchdowns. Drew Moore completed 12 of 15 passes for 128 yards. Seth Caple caught five passes for 54 yards. Cameron Farmer added three receptions for 43 yards. Ben Owens led the defense with six solo and four assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling four yards and recovered a fumble. Chris Risch added four solo and two assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling three yards. Luke Zajac chipped in with three solo and three assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling four yards. Jaren Shelby led Tates Creek’s ground game with 23 yards on seven carries. Graham Gordon completed 15 of 26 passes for 162 yards and a touchdown with three interceptions. TaVon Dunn caught five passes for 50 yards. Martavius Carter added four receptions for 59 yards. Eamon Nasr led the defense with five solo and four assisted tackles. Ryan Betlach added three solo and five assisted tackles. Jovan Blackburn chipped in with three solo and two assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 12 yards. Franklin County improved to 7-0 with a 45-0 victory over East Jessamine. Franklin County recorded 16 first downs and 382 yards of total offense. The Flyers were penalized nine times for 76 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted. East Jessamine recorded 10 first downs and 144 yards of total offense. The Jaguars were penalized three times for 22 yards, lost a fumble, and had two passes intercepted.

Lorenzo McCaskell led Franklin County’s ground attack with 92 yards and two touchdowns on seven carries. Isaiah Lee carried the ball nine times for 76 yards and a touchdown. Barrett Sanderson completed 10 of 16 passes for 130 yards and two touchdowns. De. Kennedy caught five passes for 38 yards. Malik Barrett caught two passes for 18 yards and a touchdown and Lorenzo McCaskell caught a 50 yard touchdown pass. Logan Duke led the defense wit five solo and two assisted tackles. Jh. Rodriguez added four solo and two assisted tackles. Malik Barrett scored on a 65 yard interception return.

Kahnan Leslie led East Jessamine’s ground game with 65 yards on 18 carries. Cory Garrett completed seven of 21 passes for 58 yards with two interceptions. Tyler Blue caught three passes for 28 yards. Kahnan Leslie led the defense with six solo and two assisted tackles. Traveon Gaines added six solo tackles and Jerry Parvin chipped in with five solo and one assisted tackles.

Lafayette took an early 14-0 lead early in the second quarter but Bryan Station exploded for 33 unanswered points to take a 33-14 halftime lead on their way to a 53-21 victory. Bryan Station recorded 18 first downs and 489 yards of total offense (444 in the first half). The Defenders were penalized four times for 54 yards, lost two fumbles, and had a pass intercepted. Lafayette recorded 21 first downs and 388 yards of total offense. Lafayette’s Malik Robinson had TD runs of 41 and 54 yards called back because of penalties. The Generals were penalized twice for 20 yards, lost three fumbles, and had a pass intercepted.

Ora Johnson led Bryan Station’s ground attack with 98 yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries. K-CI Carmichael carried the ball 13 times for 60 yards and two touchdowns. Ora Johnson completed 16 of 23 passes for 320 yards and three touchdowns with one interception. Tequan Claitt caught nine passes for 134 yards. CJ Walker Jr. caught two passes for 147 yards and two touchdowns. Keondre Bradley led the defense with six solo and three assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 14 yards. Chris Jackson added three solo and five assisted tackles. Andre Davis chipped in with five solo and two assisted tackles. Jam Robertson added three solo and four assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 11 yards. Shane Preston recorded two solo and five assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 12 yards. Walker Wood completed six of 13 passes for 111 yards with one interception. Michael Serafini and Dontavion Jackson each had two receptions for 68 and 41 yards respectively. Henry Clay rolled up 362 yards on the ground on 37 carries (9.8 average) to improve to 6-0 with a 41-21 victory over Madison Central. Henry Clay recorded 17 first downs and 508 yards of total offense. The Blue Devils were penalized five times for 55 yards. Madison Central recorded 17 first downs and 275 yards of total offense. The Indians were penalized three times for 17 yards and had a pass intercepted.

Davion Jackson led Henry Clay’s ground game with 157 yards and three touchdowns on six carries. Elijah Bell carried the ball 11 times for 147 yards and a touchdown. Sammy Carter completed six of 13 passes for 120 yards and a touchdown. Austin Black caught two passes for 69 yards and two touchdowns. Colby Barnes also caught two passes for 47 yards. Davonte Robinson led the defense with four solo and five assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling three yards. Lakwon Givens added three solo and five assisted tackles. Sydney Hugle recorded four solo and three assisted tackles and an interception that he returned 14 yards.
