Medina coach Jody Peters started the following lineup: Sr. Brandon Wilkens, Sr. Jake Hammel, Jr. Craig Randall, So. Jon Teske, and Jr. Zach Bennett.  Paul Laurence Dunbar coach Scott Chalk countered with 6-4 Sr. Vince Davis, 6-3 So. Darius Williams, 6-6 Sr. Kyle Clark, 6-0 Jr. PJ Corrio, and 6-0 Sr. Troy Black.

Medina outscored Dunbar 23-5 in the second quarter on their way to a 79-56 victory.  Medina shot 52.8% from the field including four of 18 from the three point line.  The Battling Bees connected on 19 of 27 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 11 Dunbar turnovers.  Dunbar shot 32.7% from the field including one of nine from beyond the arc.  The Bulldogs connected on 23 of 34 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 17 Medina turnovers.

Brandon Wilkens led Medina with 31 points and 10 rebounds.  Wilkens was 11 of 13 from the field  and nine of 13 free throws.  Jon Teske added 13 points, 10 rebounds, and four blocked shots.  Craig Randall also scored 13 points.

Darius Williams led Dunbar with 17 points.  PJ Corrio added 11 points.

LaRue County defeated Bardstown by a score of 71-32.  LaRue County shot 25 of 52 from the field, 15 of 23 from the free throw line, and pulled down 35 rebounds.  Bardstown shot 14 of 41 from the field including six of 14 from beyond the arc, and seven of 12 free throws, and pulled down 25 rebounds.

6-1 Sr. Ivy Brown led LaRue County with 35 points, 10 rebounds, eight assists, and seven steals.  5-10 Jr. Alexis Brewer added 19 points, five rebounds, and five assists.

Clay County defeated Perry County Central by a score of 55-37.  Clay County shot 15 of 38 (39%) from 2-point range and six of 12 from the three point line.  The Lady Tigers connected on seven of 16 free throws and pulled down 32 rebounds.  Perry County Central shot 12 of 53 (23%) from 2-point range and one of three from the three point line.  The Lady Commodores connected on 10 of 15 free throws and pulled down 31 rebounds.

5-5 Jr. Ajaycia Cotton led Clay County with 31 points including five three point baskets.  5-10 Sr. Sara Robinson added six points and 10 rebounds.

6-0 Sr. Kayla Rankin led Perry County Central with 22 points.

McCreary Central defeated Taylor County by a score of 65-63.  McCreary Central shot 47% from the field, connected on five of 10 from beyond the arc, and 17 of 22 free throws.  Taylor County shot 45% from the field, connected on seven of 10 from beyond the arc, and 14 of 23 free throws.

5-10 So. Kaylee Cotton came up big for McCreary Central tonight with 38 points and 15 rebounds.  5-8 Jr. Paige Neal added 10 points.

5-9 Jr. Hannah Howard led Taylor County with 20 points including six three point baskets.  5-5 Jr. Haley Wright added 18 points.

Montgomery County defeated Henderson County by a score of 64-57.  Montgomery County shot 52.3% from the field including three of seven from the three point line.  The Indians connected on 15 of 26 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 17 Henderson County turnovers.  Henderson County shot 37% from the field including five of 23 from beyond the arc.  The Colonels connected on 12 of 22 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 14 Montgomery County turnovers.  Henderson County held an 18-9 advantage in second effort points.

Deante Cisero led Montgomery County with 16 points and nine rebounds.  Xavier Pearsawl added 14 points.  Darius Jones chipped in with 13 points.  Bryan Wallace recorded nine points and five rebounds.

David Simmons led Henderson County with 14 points and eight rebounds.  Cain Cooper added 13 points and six rebounds.  DJ Washington chipped in with 11 points.  Kaleb Duckworth recorded 10 points and 11 rebounds.

Luke Chaney led Breathitt County with 16 points, 14 rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Wes Noble added 15 points, nine rebounds, and four assists.  Chris Baker chipped in with 12 points and six rebounds.  Braxton Whitmore recorded 10 points including three three point baskets.  Glenn Campbell pulled down eight rebounds.

Khmarkis Blanton led GRC with 22 points and 18 rebounds.  6-0 Jr. Braxton Greene added 21 points and five rebounds.  Damion King chipped in with 11 points and 12 rebounds.
