Trinity raced out to an 18-7 first quarter lead on their way to a 58-50 victory over Henry Clay. Trinity shot 38.3% from the field including seven of 19 from the three point line. The Shamrocks connected on 15 of 21 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored eight points off six Henry Clay turnovers. Henry Clay shot 32.7% from the field including two of nine from beyond the arc.
