Woodford county coach Scott Hundley started the following lineup; 6-2 Sr. Sawyer Scandore, 5-11 Jr. Michael Shelton, 6-3 Jr. Colton McCrady, 5-10 Sr. Grayson Graf, and 5-11 Sr. Eli Boggess.  Madison Southern coach Shane Buttry countered with 6-1 So. Stacy Burns, 6-1 Sr. Devante Linville, 6-2 Sr. Trevor Huff, 5-9 Fr. Michael Jefferson, and 6-0 So. Tanner Kidwell.

Madison Southern raced out to a 22-9 first quarter lead on their way to a 73-49 victory over Woodford County.  Madison Southern shot 57.5% from the field including six of 13 from the three point line.  The Eagles connected on 21 of 28 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 13 Woodford County turnovers.  Woodford County shot 25.5% from the field including one of nine from beyond the arc.  The Yellow Jackets connected on 22 of 35 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 15 Madison Southern turnovers.

Stacy Burns led Madison Southern with 20 points including eight of eight free throws.  Devante Linville added 11 points and seven rebounds.  Trevor Huff recorded eight points and five rebounds.  5-7 So. Brandon Sargent also scored eight points.

Colton McCrady led Woodford County with 11 points and 13 rebounds.  Michael Shelton added nine points and five rebounds.  Eli Boggess chipped in with eight points.

Augusta coach Jason Hinson started the following lineup:  6-2 Sr. Brent Bach, 6-2 So. Owens Crawford, 6-3 So. Camryn Snapp, 5-11 So. Connor Maddox, and 6-1 Sr. Dustin Freeman.  Paul Laurence Dunbar coach Scott Chalk countered with 6-3 So. Darius Williams, 6-0 Sr. Troy Black, 6-2 Sr. Jordan Hurst, 6-0 Sr. Donnie Lewis, and 6-0 Fr. Taveion Hollingsworth.

Dunbar trailed 48-46 in the final quarter but went on a 9-0 run to take a 55-48 lead on their way to a 61-58 victory over Augusta.  Augusta rallied but a 40 foot field goal attempt by Brent Bach for the tie at the buzzer failed to connect.  The score was tied seven times and there were six lead changes in the game.  Augusta got off to a fast start and led 31-26 at halftime on the strength of 66.7% field goal shooting in the first half.

Dunbar shot 47.3% from the field including five of 12 from the three point line.  The Bulldogs connected on four of eight free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 16 Augusta turnovers.  Dunbar attempted 18 more shots (55-37) from the field than Augusta.  Augusta shot 54.1% from the field including five of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Panthers connected on 13 of 14 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored seven points off eight Dunbar turnovers.

Darius Williams led Dunbar with 18 points.  Donnie Lewis added 16 points including three three point baskets and three steals.  6-0 Jr. PJ Corio recorded 14 points including two three point baskets and seven rebounds.

Brent Bach led Augusta with 27 points and four rebounds.  Camryn Snapp added 17 points including three three point baskets and six rebounds.  Connor Maddox chipped in with 10 points.

Knott County Central coach BB King started the following lineup: 6-3 Jr. Chance Cornett, 6-3 Jr. Simon Christon, 6-6 Jr. Evan Hall, 6-2 Sr. Keegan Sammons, and 6-2 Jr. Camron Justice.  Wayne County coach Rodney Woods countered with 6-3 Jr. Peyton Woods, 6-1 So. Corey Stearns, 6-5 So. Nick Gillespie, 5-9 So. Trey Blevins, and 5-10 Sr. Jason Perkins.

Wayne County trailed 68-52 with five minutes left in the game but rallied to defeat Knott County Central 81-77 and remain undefeated at 24-0.  Wayne County went on a 19-3 run to tie the game at 71-71.  Wayne County’s never-give-up attitude and Knott County Central’s foul woes sealed the Patriot’s fate today.  Camron Justice fouled out with 2:01 left in the game and Evan Hall was whistled to the bench with less than 30 seconds remaining on the clock.

Wayne County shot 42.1% from the field including 10 of 30 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on 23 of 29 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 33 points off 19 Knott County Central turnovers.  Knott County Central shot 56% from the field including six of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Patriots connected on 15 of 21 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored eight points off six Wayne County turnovers.

Trey Blevins led Wayne County with 28 points including five three point baskets.  Corey Stearns added 20 points and nine rebounds.  Peyton Woods recorded 16 points including 10 of 11 free throws and five rebounds.  Jason Perkins also reached double figures with 10 points.

Camron Justice led Knott County Central with 32 points including three three point baskets and nine rebounds.  Evan Hall added 22 points and nine rebounds.  Chance Cornett chipped in with 11 points and six rebounds.

Raekwon Long, 6-1 Sr. Teddy Ware, and 6-2 Sr. Trent Gilbert.

Scott County led 35-14 in the second quarter and withstood a furious second half Trinity rally to defeat the number one ranked Shamrocks by a score of 70-65.  Scott County led 37-18 at halftime led by the laser-like accuracy of Teddy Ware who had 20 points by intermission fueled by five of six from beyond the arc.

Scott County shot 48.8% from the field including nine of 14 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on 19 of 27 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 11 points off nine Trinity turnovers.  Trinity shot 45.85 from the field including five of 16 from beyond the arc.  The Shamrocks connected on 16 of 24 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 10 Scott County turnovers.

Teddy Ware led Scott County with 29 points including seven three point baskets.  Ware was nine of 12 from the field including seven of eight from beyond the arc and four of seven from the free throw line.  Trent Gilbert added 17 points and three assists.  Tony Martini recorded nine points and 12 rebounds.  Matt Murray also scored nine points.

Michael Stafford led Trinity with 16 points.  Raymond Spalding added 14 points, nine rebounds, three assists, and two blocked shots.  Craig Owens recorded 12 points and 10 rebounds.  Trey Ivory also scored 12 points.

Robert Dence scored a layup on a beautiful assist from Jarod Griffin with three seconds left on the clock to give Lexington Catholic an 81-79 come-from-behind victory over Lafayette.  Lexington Catholic trailed 59-41 midway through the third quarter but rallied to earn the victory.

Lexington Catholic shot 50.8% from the field including six of 21 from the three point line.  The Knights connected on 15 of 21 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 16 Lafayette turnovers.  Lafayette shot 53.1% from the field including 10 of 19 from beyond the arc.  The Generals connected on 17 of 28 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 11 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Tanner Johnson led Lexington Catholic with 22 points including three three point baskets.  Reese Ryan added 17 points and seven assists.  Robert Dence recorded 13 points and eight rebounds.  Michael Talbott chipped in with 13 points and five assists.  Jarod Griffin added eight points and eight assists.

Lance Blakley led Lafayette with 28 points including six three point baskets and six rebounds.  Blakley was eight of 12 from the field including six of eight from beyond the arc and six of nine from the free throw line.  Jackson Davis added 21 points, 16 rebounds, and four assists.  Harrison Lane chipped in with 11 points including three three point baskets.

Marion County coach Anthony Epps started the following lineup: 5-8 Sr. Colleen Rakes, 5-6 Sr. Evelyn Taylor, 6-1 Sr. Alexus Calhoun, 5-3 Fr. Haeli Howard, and 5-5 Sr. Timera Burton.  Elizabethtown coach Tim Mudd countered with 6-2 So. Erin Boley, 5-8 Jr. Darien Huff, 6-2 Jr. Reauna Cleaver, 5-7 So. Rachel Warden, and 5-9 Jr. Livie Bowling.

Elizabethtown defeated Marion County by a score of 70-30.  Elizabethtown shot 53.7% from the field including four of 13 from the three point line.  The Lady Panthers connected on eight of 11 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored six points off 17 Marion County turnovers.  Marion County shot 26.8% from the field including three of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Knights connected on five of 12 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored two points off 10 Elizabethtown turnovers.

Darien Huff led Elizabethtown with 25 points, five rebounds, and three steals.  Huff was 11 of 14 from the field including two of three from beyond the arc and hit her only free throw.  Erin Boley added 14 points, 13 rebounds, three assists, and three steals.  5-5 Fr. Jada Stinson chipped in with 13 points.

5-2 Fr. Kaylee Wheatly led Marion County with eight points including two three point baskets.  Haeli Howard added seven points and five rebounds.

Lincoln County outscored McCreary Central 15-4 in the third quarter to take control in a 55-39 victory.  Lincoln County shot 41% from the field including three of 13 from the three point line.  The Lady Patriots connected on eight of 11 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and committed seven turnovers.  McCreary Central shot 26% from the field including two of 18 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Raiders connected on 13 of 20 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and committed 13 turnovers.

5-9 Jr. Tiandra Hocker led Lincoln County with 13 points and eight rebounds.  5-6 Jr. Spencer Sims added seven points.  5-2 Jr. Kelsi Honaker, 5-3 So. Caitlin Hall, and 5-3 Fr. Jenna King chipped in with six points each.

5-10 So. Kaylee Cotton continues to light up the scoreboard as she led McCreary Central with 33 points including 12 of 18 free throws and 13 rebounds.
