Eastern Kentucky defeated Austin Peay by a score of 51-13.  Eastern recorded 26 first downs and 421 yards of total offense.  The Colonels were penalized six times for 49 yards.  Austin Peay recorded 14 first downs and 250 yards of total offense.  They were penalized nine times for 70 yards, lost a fumble and had a pass intercepted.

Ethan Thomas led Eastern’s ground game with 59 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries.  Adam Lane carried the ball 13 times for 58 yards and a touchdown.  Bennie Coney completed 28 of 35 passes for 261 yards and one touchdown.  Kyle Romano completed three of four passes for 25 yards and a touchdown.  Devin Borders caught nine passes for 91 yards.  Joel Brown added seven receptions for 68 yards and a touchdown.  Ethan Thomas caught three passes for 30 yards.  Adam Lane also added three receptions for 29 yards.  Stanley Absanon returned one punt for 23 yards.  Noah Spence led the defense with two solo and six assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling six yards.  Tre’ Moore added three solo and two assisted tackles.  Thomas Owens scored a touchdown on a 17 yard interception return.

Kendall Morris led Austin Peay’s ground game with 75 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries.  Trey Taylor carried the ball 12 times for 37 yards and a touchdown.  Trey Taylor completed 15 of 26 passes for 99 yards with one interception.  Wesley Thomas caught five passes for 29 yards.  Jared Beard added four receptions for 32 yards.  Rashaan Coleman also caught four passes for 27 yards.  Devon Jones led the defense with three solo and seven assisted tackles.  Benedict Louis added six solo and two assisted tackles.

Franklin County’s Seiver Tandy kicked a 38 yard field goal with 21 seconds left in the game to give the Flyers a 31-28 victory over previously unbeaten Shelby County.  Shelby County had one final chance but Josh Edwards missed a 52 yard field goal attempt as time expired.  Franklin County led 28-14 at halftime but Shelby County tied the game early in the final quarter.  Franklin County recorded 21 first downs and 468 yards of total offense.  The Flyers were penalized 13 times for 139 yards, lost two fumbles, and had a pass intercepted.  Shelby County recorded 15 first downs and 370 yards of total offense.  The Rockets were penalized 10 times for 159 yards, lost a fumble and had a pass intercepted.

Denzell Vance led Franklin County’s ground game with 200 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries.  Barrett Sanderson completed 17 of 29 passes for 237 yards and three touchdowns with one interception.  DeMarcus Kennedy caught seven passes for 126 yards and a touchdown.  Landon Hurst added four receptions for 58 yards and a touchdown.  Denzell Vance caught two passes for 39 yards.  Makale Marks led the defense with six solo and one assisted tackles, recovered a fumble, and intercepted a pass.  Zack Janca added six solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling seven yards.  DeMarcus Kennedy recorded five solo and one assisted tackles.

Malik Manica led Shelby County’s ground game with 153 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries.  Michael Perry carried the ball six times for 84 yards and a touchdown.  Tyler Drane completed seven of 12 passes for 135 yards and two touchdowns with one interception.  Brandon Davis caught two passes for 54 yards and a touchdown.  Michael Perry added two receptions for 31 yards.  Devon Mantilla added a 29 yard touchdown reception.  Michael Perry led the defense with nine solo and two assisted tackles with 3.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 10 yards.  James Bradley added seven solo and one assisted tackles.  Jordy Orsoto chipped in with six solo tackles.  Malik Manica recorded five solo and one assisted tackles.

The score was tied 7-7 at halftime but Paul Laurence Dunbar continues to show improvement as they rallied in the second half to earn a 21-7 victory.  Dunbar recorded 15 first downs and 306 yards of total offense.  The Bulldogs were penalized twice for 20 yards and lost a fumble.  Anderson County recorded six first downs and 140 yards of total offense.  The Bearcats were penalized twice for 17 yards, lost a fumble and had two passes intercepted.

DeRante Sanders led Dunbar’s ground game with 113 yards and a touchdown on eight carries.  Jefferson Harkless carried the ball 20 times for 82 yards and a touchdown.  Nate Gay added 50 yards on 14 carries.  LaDarius Morton carried the ball six times for 24 yards and a touchdown.  Kendall Roberts completed two of four passes for 38 yards.  Dontell Brown caught one pass for 35 yards.  Nick Martin led the defense with six solo and one assisted tackles with four of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 24 yards.  DeRante Sanders added four solo tackles.

Brydon Labhart led Anderson County’s ground game with 28 yards and a touchdown on six carries.  Gunner Gillis completed seven of 20 passes for 116 yards with two interceptions.  Brydon Labhart caught three passes for 27 yards.  JP Garmon added two receptions for 33 yards.  Ryan Martin added one reception for 53 yards.  Braxton Bostic led the defense with 11 solo and five assisted tackles.  Caleb Boyles added five solo and three assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling four yards.  Cade Cotton recorded five solo and two assisted tackles.

Fairview defeated Lexington Christian Academy 50-34 in a game in which both Quarterbacks filled the air with footballs combining for 723 yards and nine touchdowns.  Fairview recorded 22 first downs and 534 yards of total offense.  They were penalized seven times for 60 yards and had two passes intercepted.  Lexington Christian Academy recorded 27 first downs and 539 yards of total offense.  The Eagles were penalized four times for 30 yards, lost a fumble and had two passes intercepted.

Dillon Wheatley led Lexington Christian Academy’s ground game with 136 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries.  Brayden Miller completed 31 of 43 passes for 380 yards and four touchdowns with two interceptions.  Ryan Stucky caught 12 passes for 143 yards and three touchdowns.  Kyle Paske added four receptions for 84 yards.  Dillon Wheatley added nine receptions for 77 yards.  Caelan Lebryk caught five passes for 73 yards and a touchdown.  Wade Drake led the defense with three solo and 10 assisted tackles.  Brett Wilkins also recorded three solo and 10 assisted tackles.  Clay Ach recorded six solo and four assisted tackles.  Ryan Stucky and Drayden Burton each intercepted a pass.

On a rainy homecoming night in Versailles Madison Central provided the thunder and lightning with a 55-0 victory over the home standing Yellow Jackets.  The thunder came in the form of the Madison Central defense which accounted for five turnovers including a 54 yard fumble recovery return for a touchdown by Jabari Huguely and a 56 yard interception return by Kody Kidd by a score.  The lightning came late in the game as Johan Williams took a handoff on his own two yard line and exploded for a 98 yard touchdown return.  Madison Central recorded 13 first downs and 375 yards of total offense.  The Indians were penalized five times for 29 yards.  The Indians only ran 29 offensive plays but averaged 12.9 yards per play compared to Woodford County’s 53 plays for a 2.8 average.  Woodford County recorded 13 first downs and 151 yards of total offense.  The Yellow Jackets were penalized once for five yards, lost four fumbles and had a pass intercepted.

Johan Williams led Madison Central’s ground game with 204 yards and three touchdowns on 14 carries.  Keenan Miller carried the ball four times for 91 yards and a touchdown.  Zach Hardin completed two of three passes for 66 yards and two touchdowns.  Lawrence Lee Jr. and John Williams caught touchdown passes of 34 and 32 yards respectively.  Tristan Moorehead led the defense with six solo and six assisted tackles.  Kenton Edwards and KJ Long each recorded two solo and six assisted tackles and each recovered a fumble.  Kody Kidd recorded four solo and one assisted tackles, recovered a fumble, and added an interception he returned 56 yards for a touchdown.

Emir Bernabe led Woodford County’s ground game with 48 yards on 13 carries.  Devontre Winkfield carried the ball nine times for 36 yards.  Jaylan Washington added 34 yards on seven carries.  Trey Thurman completed one of eight passes for five yards with an interception.  Devontre Winkfield caught one pass for five yards.  Dwayne Depp returned five kickoffs for 139 yards including a long return of 43 yards.  Jonathan Colley and Michael Eldridge led the defense with three solo and one assisted tackles each.

Cooper shut down Lexington Catholic tonight only allowing 82 yards of total offense including a net -1 yards on the ground and intercepting three passes on the way to a 28-0 victory.  Cooper recorded 17 first downs and 438 yards of total offense.  They were penalized six times for 45 yards, lost a fumble and had a pass intercepted.  Lexington Catholic recorded five first downs and 82 yards of total offense.  The Knights were penalized four times for 43 yards and had three passes intercepted.

Jaden Jackson led Cooper’s ground game with 91 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries.  Torrey Cordell carried the ball 14 times for 82 yards.  Nathan Brown completed 13 of 27 passes for 258 yards and three touchdowns.  Dante Hendrix caught eight passes for 164 yards and three touchdowns.  Cole Hicks led the defense with seven solo tackles.  Aidan Keller added six solo and one assisted tackles.  J. Schlarman recorded four solo and one assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 24 yards.  Dante Hendrix intercepted two passes.

Jaylen Jones led the Lexington Catholic ground game with nine yards on 10 carries.  Kirk Fagot completed 14 of 28 passes for 69 yards with three interceptions.  Donovan Morris caught nine passes for 41 yards.  JJ Ogbogu added three receptions for 38 yards.  Andy Hickey led the defense with eight solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling six yards.  Jack Fagot added seven solo and two assisted tackles.  Eli Mitchell recorded six solo and two assisted tackles and intercepted a pass he returned 17 yards.  Sid Sharp added two solo and two assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 12 yards.

Scott County defeated George Rogers Clark by a score of 55-21.  Scott County recorded 23 first downs and 454 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized 12 times for 134 yards and lost two fumbles.  George Rogers Clark recorded 11 first downs and 147 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized eight times for 59 yards and had one pass intercepted.

Noah Hughes led Scott County’s ground game with 194 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries.  Kendrick Hamilton carried the ball eight times for 92 yards and three touchdowns.  Keith Guy added 51 yards and three touchdowns on 11 carries.  Josh Davis completed two of seven passes for 53 yards.  Cooper Robb completed his only pass for eight yards and a touchdown.  Glenn Covington caught two passes for 53 yards.  Cooper Watts caught an eight yard touchdown pass.  Tyler Braxton led the defense with four solo and four assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a nine yard loss.  Josh Smith added three solo and five assisted tackles.  Keeshon Brent recorded four solo and two assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling four yards.  Dylan Smith returned four punts for 63 yards with a long return of 53 yards.

Owen Irvin led George Rogers Clark’s ground game with 50 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries.  Owen Irvin completed six of 26 passes for 72 yards and a touchdown with one interception.  Trevon Jones caught three passes for 41 yards and a touchdown.  Micah Israel returned two kickoffs for 73 yards with a long return of 56 yards.  Ohmante Jenkins led the defense with seven solo and three assisted tackles.  Ronte Owens, Josiah Israel, and Brandon Kiniry each recorded four solo and one assisted tackles.  Trevon Jones scored on a 14 yard fumble recovery return.

Bryan Station rolled up 415 yards of total offense and took advantage of five Tates Creek turnovers to record a 54-21 victory.  Bryan Station recorded 20 first downs and 415 yards of total offense.  The Defenders were penalized eight times for 80 yards and lost a fumble.  Tates Creek recorded 20 first downs and 367 yards of total offense.  The Commodores were penalized five times for 30 yards, lost three fumbles, and had two passes intercepted.

Devon Key led Bryan Station’s ground attack with 136 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries.  Andre Davis carried the ball 13 times for 100 yards and a touchdown.  Andre Davis completed 10 of 15 passes for 152 yards and four touchdowns.  Rafael Few caught four passes for 74 yards and two touchdowns.  Devon Key added three receptions for 43 yards and a touchdown.  Mahari Sturgis led the defense with seven solo tackles.  Romel Croley added six solo and two assisted tackles.  Devon Key recorded five solo and one assisted tackles and returned an intercepted pass 100 yards for a touchdown.  Shane Preston added four solo and two assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 11 yards and recovered a fumble.

Laron Warner led Tates Creek’s ground game with 57 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries.  Jaren Shelby carried the ball 11 times for 38 yards.  Peyton Burke completed 16 of 30 passes for 267 yards and two touchdowns with one interception.  Turner Gentry caught five passes for 48 yards.  Robbie Lofton added four receptions for 131 yards and one touchdown.  Conner Gibson added four receptions for 42 yards.  Sakima Opsal led the defense with 12 solo and two assisted tackles.  Jerrod Martin added four solo and two assisted tackles.
