Fleming County coach Lamont Taylor started the following lineup: 6-0 So. Jaden Waller, 5-10 Sr. Michael Todd, 6-0 So. Brad Glascock, 5-8 Sr. Ashton Hall, and 5-10 Sr. Stuart Huard. Lexington Catholic coach Brandon Salsman countered with 6-5 So. Zan Payne, 6-3 So. TC Price, 6-6 So. Max Sparkman, 5-11 Jr. Blake Scott, and 6-4 Jr. Luke Johnson.
Lexington Catholic outscored Fleming County 27-8 in the second quarter on their way to an 88-61 victory over Lincoln County. Lexington Catholic shot 54% from the field including four of 17 from the three point line. The Knights connected on 16 of 27 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored 24 points off 22 Fleming County turnovers. Fleming County shot 44.9% from the field including eight of 17 from beyond the arc. The Panthers connected on nine of 18 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 17 Lexington Catholic turnovers.
Luke Johnson led Lexington Catholic with 27 points, eight assists, and six steals. Johnson was nine of 11 from the field including two of three from beyond the arc, and seven of 10 free throws. Zan Payne added 18 points and 16 rebounds. Blake Scott recorded 16 points and five rebounds. Max Sparkman chipped in with 11 points and 10 rebounds.
Ashton Hall led Fleming County with 15 points and four rebounds. 6-0 So. Eugene Hamm added 11 points and six rebounds. 5-11 So. Josh Crump and Brad Glascock also scored 11 points each.
