Henry Clay’s defense held Bryan Station to 87 yards of total offense and four turnovers in a 36-6 victory.  Henry Clay recorded 16 first downs and 275 yards of total offense.  The Blue Devils were penalized five times for 39 yards and lost a fumble.  Bryan Station recorded three first downs and 87 yards of total offense.  The Defenders were penalized twice for 10 yards, lost two fumbles, and had two passes intercepted.

Tyree Clarke led Henry Clay’s ground game with 104 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries.  Darrin Van Horn completed five of 11 passes for 60 yards and two touchdowns.  Tyree Clarke caught two passes for 35 yards and a touchdown.  Isaiah Adkins caught a 13 yard touchdown pass.  Graham Wald punted twice for a 46.5 average with a long punt of 57 yards with one kick inside the 20 yard line.  Ramond Jackson led the defense with five solo and two assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 16 yards and intercepted a pass he returned 25 yards for a touchdown.  Dakota Kimes and Chris Dabney each recovered a fumble and Langston Jackson intercepted a pass. 

Jalen Burbage led Bryan Station’s ground game with 47 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries.  Burbage completed six of 10 passes for 13 yards with two interceptions.  Terrance Clayton-Murphy caught four passes for nine yards.  Jalen Burbage returned two kickoffs for 81 yards with a long return of 43 yards.  Anthony Cox led the defense with eight solo and four assisted tackles.  Brandon Fields added five solo and six assisted tackles.  Dayvon Moore recorded five solo and two assisted tackles and recovered a fumble.

Madison Central intercepted three passes tonight and the defense shut out Lafayette to earn a 21-0 victory.  Madison Central recorded 17 first downs and 336 yards of total offense.  The Indians were penalized five times for 56 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.  Lafayette recorded 13 first downs and 207 yards of total offense.  The Generals were penalized seven times for 51 yards and had three passes intercepted. 

Freddie Chenault led Madison Central’s ground game with 150 yards and a touchdown on 36 carries.  Ethan Hahn carried the ball nine times for 101 yards.  Antwaun Warford added 52 yards and a touchdown on six carries.  Derrick Miller completed three of five passes for 27 yards with one interception.  Antwaun Warford caught three passes for 30 yards.  Denton Witt led the defense with five solo and three assisted tackles and intercepted a pass he returned for 47 yards.  Jackson Juett added three solo and six assisted tackles.  Kenton Humphrey and Brandon Abner each intercepted a pass.

Cameron Morgan led Lafayette’s ground game with 54 yards on 14 carries.  Dekwan Edwards completed eight of 22 passes for 101 yards with three interceptions.  Austin Serafini caught four passes for 39 yards.  Caylon Williams added two receptions for 20 yards.  John Combs and Cameron Morgan each caught one pass for 21 yards.  Cameron Morgan returned three kickoffs for 70 yards with a long return of 46 yards.  Jaylen Lawson led the defense with seven solo and six assisted tackles.  Austin Blake added three solo and eight assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a seven yard loss.  Ean Shaw recorded four solo and four assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling six yards.  Jadus Smith added five solo tackles and recovered a fumble and Kuantaze Cooper intercepted a pass.

Boyle County dominated play tonight in a 48-17 victory over Lexington Catholic to improve their record to 7-1.  Boyle County recorded 31 first downs and 611 yards of total offense.  The Rebels were penalized 14 times for 129 yards.  Lexington Catholic recorded 17 first downs and 322 yards of total offense.  The knights were penalized eight times for 80 yards and had a pass intercepted.

Tanner Crawford led Boyle County’s ground game with 209 yards and four touchdowns on 22 carries.  Landen Bartleson carried the ball 14 times for 149 yards and a touchdown.  Reed Lanter completed 18 of 28 passes for 205 yards and two touchdowns.  Nick Walker caught seven passes for 71 yards.  Reese Smith added five receptions for 82 yards and two touchdowns.  Reiley Colwick caught four passes for 49 yards.  Reiley Colwick and Nathan Snyder led the defense with six solo tackles each.  Kaden Gervacio added four solo and three assisted tackles.  Ezarious Roller recorded five solo tackles and Reese Smith intercepted a pass.

Dameon Jones led Lexington Catholic’s ground game with 71 yards on 18 carries.  Beau Allen carried the ball twice for 19 yards.  Beau Allen completed 21 of 38 passes for 224 yards and two touchdowns with one interception.  Nathan Schnurr caught 14 passes for 127 yards and one touchdown.  Luke Powell added four receptions for 33 yards.  Dameon Jones caught a 43 yard touchdown pass.  Kevin Brown led the defense with 10 solo and two assisted tackles.  Henry Holthaus added 10 solo tackles.  Ray Smoot recorded six solo and two assisted tackles.

Casey County 70  McCreary central 30 – Preston Tucker carried the ball 17 times for 143 yards and two touchdowns.  Austin Campbell completed 19 of 30 passes for 268 yards and three touchdowns and carried the ball 10 times for 64 yards and a touchdown.

 

Covington Catholic 30  Bishop Chatard (IN) 7 – AJ Mayer completed 14 of 23 passes for 316 yards and three touchdowns.

 

Danville 37  Somerset 26 – D’Mauriae VanCleave carried the ball eight times for 207 yards and two touchdowns.

 

DeSales 21  Christian Academy of Louisville 3 – Demetri Scott caught an acrobatic one hand catch for a 13 yard touchdown and recorded five solo and three assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 13 yards and forced a fumble.

 

East Jessamine 28  Taylor County 20 – Storm Wilson ran for 87 yards and a touchdown, caught passes for 40 yards and a touchdown, and scored on an interception return to lead the Jaguars.

 

Hazard 37  Phelps 8 – Bailey Blair completed 17 of 26 passes for 227 yards and three touchdowns.

 

Highlands 47  Dixie Heights 0 – Nick Veneman caught five passes for 153 yards and four touchdowns.

 

Johnson Central 51  Greenup County 14 – Blake Gamble carried the ball 16 times for 108 yards and four touchdowns and Riley Preece added 169 yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries.

 

Kentucky Country Day 42  Louisville Holy Cross 37 – Ashton Robinson carried the ball 12 times for 162 yards and three touchdowns.

 

Lexington Catholic 71  Western Hills 49 – Dameon Jones carried the ball 24 times for 251 yards and four touchdowns and Beau Allen completed 15 of 19 passes for 259 yards and four touchdowns for Lexington Catholic.  Western Hills was paced by WanDale Robinson who carried the ball 18 times for 276 yards and five touchdowns, caught two passes for 56 yards and a touchdown and scored on a 96 yard kickoff return.

 

Ludlow 60  Dayton 8 – Justin Blackburn completed eight of 11 passes for 137 yards and two touchdowns and carried the ball 10 times for 145 yards and three touchdowns.

 

Male 37  Bryan Station 6 – Henry Vestal carried the ball 21 times for 143 yards and a touchdown and Cameron Chesher completed 18 of 26 passes for 170 yards and two touchdowns.
