Lafayette outscored Madison Central 30-9 in three point points in a 66-53 victory.  There were seven lead changes and four ties in the game.  Lafayette shot 44.7% from the field including 10 of 26 from the three point line.  The Generals connected on 14 of 15 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 16 Madison Central turnovers.  Madison Central shot 38.5% from the field including three of 22 from beyond the arc.  The Indians connected on 10 of 17 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 24 points off 16 Lafayette turnovers.

 

Caroline Bennett led Lafayette with 27 points including five three point baskets and 15 rebounds.  Terri Abram added 16 points including 10 of 11 free throws and seven assists.  Lindi DeBilzan recorded 14 points, five rebounds, four assists, three blocked shots, and five steals.

 

Bailey Vanover led Madison Central with 20 points, 10 rebounds, two assists, and four steals.  Je’Kauri McKeithen added 16 points and nine rebounds.

Eastern Kentucky University defeated Tennessee tech by a score of 55-53 in a game that had four ties and six lead changes.  Jordan Brock tied the game at 53-53 with a three point basket with four seconds left on the clock.  Eastern Kentucky got a timeout with two seconds remaining and Shay Solomon hit A’Queen Hayes with a perfect high lob bass under the basket and Hayes laid the ball in at the buzzer for the win.

 

Eastern Kentucky shot 42.6% from the field including two of 11 from the three point line.  The Colonels connected on seven of 10 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 13 Tennessee Tech turnovers.  Tennessee Tech shot 42% from the field including six of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Golden Eagles connected on five of 10 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 12 Eastern Kentucky turnovers.

Scott County led 64-39 in the third quarter on their way to a 79-67 victory over Paul Laurence Dunbar.  Scott County shot 52.5% from the field including eight of 19 from the three point line.  The Lady Cardinals connected on nine of 12 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 12 Paul Laurence Dunbar turnovers.  Paul Laurence Dunbar shot 36.7% from the field including seven of 18 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Bulldogs connected on 16 of 21 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 12 Scott County turnovers.

 

Peyton Riddle led Scott County with 23 points including three three point baskets, 11 rebounds, three assists, and two blocked shots.  Maaliya Owens added 19 points including two three point baskets, six rebounds, three assists, and two steals.  Morgan DeFoor recorded 12 points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, and three assists.  6-2 So. Malea Williams chipped in with nine points, four rebounds, and two blocked shots.

 

Mashayla Cecil led Paul Laurence Dunbar with 34 points including five three point baskets and three steals.  Cheyenne Fullwood added 11 points and five rebounds.
