Henry Clay coach Ashley Garrard started the following lineup: 5-10 Jr. Lauren Thomas, 5-6 So. Timarri Miller, 5-11 Sr. Kennedy Williams, 5-2 Fr. Ariyana Sutton, and 5-7 So. Allison Stone.  Paris coach Aaron Speaks countered with 5-10 Jr. Jamie Cowan, 5-7 Jr. Sanaa Jackson, 6-0 Sr. Nia Kenney, 5-3 Fr. Tori Dumphord, and 5-6 Jr. Chloe Kemper.

 

Paris rallied in the second half to defeat Henry Clay 56-48.  Paris shot 40.5% from the field including three of seven from the three point line.  The Lady Greyhounds connected on 23 of 38 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 19 Henry Clay turnovers.  Henry Clay shot 32.2% from the field including zero of nine from beyond the arc.  The Lady Blue Devils connected on 10 of 19 free throws, pulled down 43 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 25 Paris turnovers.

 

Jamie Cowan led Paris with 16 points including eight of 11 free throws and seven rebounds.  Sanaa Jackson added 12 points and three assists.  5-11 Fr. Brooklyn White recorded 10 points.  Chloe Kemper chipped in with seven points including five of seven free throws and four rebounds.  Nia Kenney added six points, six rebounds, and two steals.

 

Allison Stone led Henry Clay with 14 points including four of five free throws, five rebounds, three assists, and three steals.  Kennedy Williams added 10 points and 13 rebounds.  Lauren Thomas recorded seven points, seven rebounds, three assists, three blocks, and three steals.

Madison Central coach Brad Lovely started the following lineup: 5-10 So. Bailey Hensley, 5-7 So. Eden Carter, 5-9 Sr. Kessaney Melton, 5-7 Fr. Brittany Campbell, and 5-6 Fr. Nataya Strader.  Berea coach Dammian Stepp countered with 5-9 Jr. Chesney Lovins, 5-8 Sr. Alexis Newman, 6-0 Sr. Madison Howell, 4-10 Sr. Isis Rodgers, and 5-6 Sr. Mati Stepp.

 

Madison Central led 24-17 at halftime but Berea made the adjustments at halftime to earn a 55-51 victory.  Berea shot 40% from the field including six of 18 from the three point line.  The Lady Pirates connected on 17 of 22 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and committed 22 turnovers.  Madison Central shot 37.5% from the field including one of 11 from beyond the arc.  The Indians connected on eight of 18 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and committed 22 turnovers.

 

Madison Howell led Berea with 18 points including three three point baskets, three rebounds, three assists, and three steals.  Mati Stepp added 12 points including six of seven free throws, and four assists.  Alexis Newman recorded 11 points including three three point baskets.  Chesney Lovins added six points and 12 rebounds.

 

Bailey Hensley led Madison Central with 18 points, 13 rebounds, and three assists.  Kessaney Melton added 12 points and seven rebounds.  Brittany Campbell recorded eight points, seven rebounds, four assists, and six steals.  Eden Carter chipped in with five points, four rebounds, three assists, and three steals.

Kailyn Gentry, 5-6 Jr. Makari Murphy, and 5-6 Jr. Emily Gomez.

 

Lexington Catholic earned a 68-62 come-from-behind victory over Bryan Station on the road.  There were 12 lead changes and two ties in the game.  Lexington Catholic shot 52.3% from the field including four of 10 from the three point line.  The Knights connected on 18 of 31 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 2 4 points off 22 Bryan Station turnovers.  Bryan Station shot 39.1% from the field including three of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Defenders connected on nine of 12 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 32 points off 26 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

 

Katherine Truitt led Lexington Catholic with 32 points on 10 of 13 from the field and 12 of 17 from the free throw line, five rebounds, four assists, and two steals.  Lydia Kennedy added 12 points, seven rebounds, two blocked shots, and five steals.  Hannah Carlisle recorded 10 points including two three point baskets, seven rebounds, five assists, and three steals.

 

Tania Woodall led Bryan Station with 20 points including two three point baskets and three steals.  Kailyn Gentry added 18 points, 16 rebounds, and six steals.

ZaKiyah Johnson, 5-11 Sr. Josie Gilvin, 6-0 Sr. Alex Wolff, 5-8 Jr. Triniti Ralston, and 5-10 So. Raegan Bender.

 

Sacred Heart Academy outscored Southwestern 21-6 in the third quarter on their way to a 74-43 victory.  There were four lead changes and three ties in this game.  Sacred Heart shot 41.9% from the field including four of 19 from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on 18 of 22 free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored 30 points off 28 Southwestern turnovers.  Southwestern shot 32.6% from the field including six of 23 from beyond the arc.  The Warriors connected on nine of 14 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 17 Sacred Heart turnovers.

 

Raegan Bender led Sacred Heart Academy with 19 points including three three point baskets, seven rebounds, two assists, and two steals.  ZaKiyah Johnson added 17 points, 10 rebounds, and four assists.  6-3 So. Angelina Pelayo recorded nine points and eight rebounds.  Alex Wolff chipped in with eight points and five rebounds.  Josie Gilvin added six points, five rebounds, and five steals.

 

Kinsey Molden led Southwestern with 14 points including three three point baskets, five rebounds, and three steals.  Payton Acey added nine points, seven rebounds, and three blocked shots.

Russellville defeated Bethlehem by the score of 34-21 to advance to the championship.  Russellville recorded 302 yards of total offense and lost two fumbles.  Bethlehem recorded 216 yards of total offense, lost a fumble, and had three passes intercepted.

Jovari Gamble led Russellville’s ground game with 180 yards and two touchdowns on 24 carries.  Lennon Ries completed eight of 12 passes for 145 yards and two touchdowns.  Anthony Woodard completed his only pass fro 45 yards.  Jackson Hampton caught three passes for 86 yards.  Anthony Woodard added four receptions for 82 yards and two touchdowns.  Anthony Woodard led the defense with seven solo and two assisted tackles and intercepted a pass he returned six yards for a touchdown.  Zach Dowlen added five solo and four assisted tackles.  Josh McMurry recorded four solo and two assisted tackles.  Braxton Baptiste recovered a fumble.  Lennon Ries intercepted a pass he returned seven yards and Chevis Elliott intercepted a pass he returned 20 yards.

Zane Wickliffe led Bethlehem’s ground game with 86 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries.  Cooper Stone completed 10 of 28 passes for 132 yards and two touchdowns with three interceptions.  Ladarion Montgomery caught five passes for 57 yards and a touchdown.  Eli Peake added two receptions for 48 yards and one touchdown.  Will Ray led the defense with three solo and four assisted tackles.  Martavious Smith added three solo and three assisted tackles.  Ladarion Montgomery recorded four solo and two assisted tackles and recovered a fumble.  Sean Mills also recovered a fumble.

Paducah Tilghman defeated Glasgow by the score of 39-20.  Paducah Tilghman recorded 23 first downs and 386 yards of total offense.  They were penalized eight times for 75 yards.  Glasgow recorded 20 first downs and 275 yards of total offense.  They were penalized five times for 35 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

Malachi Rider led Paducah Tilghman’s ground game with 172 yards and a touchdown on 32 carries.  Jack James and Kharentez Moore each ran for a touchdown.  Jack James completed 18 of 23 passes for 197 yards and three touchdowns.  Brian Thomas caught three passes for 78 yards and a touchdown.  Camdon Marshall added six receptions for 51 yards and a touchdown.  Leyton Patterson caught a five yard touchdown pass.  Turner Humphrey led the defense with nine solo and two assisted tackles.  Jequan Warren added five solo and two assisted tackles and intercepted a pass.  Uriah Virzi recorded seven solo and three assisted tackles.  Camdon Marshall chipped in with six solo and two assisted tackles.  Chris Allen and Paul McKnight each recovered a fumble.

Keiran Stockton led Glasgow’s ground game with 130 yards and a touchdown on 26 carries.  Andrew Phillips added 49 yards and a touchdown on eight carries.  John Myers chipped in with 20 yards an da touchdown on seven carries.  Easton Jessie completed one of four passes for 41 yards with one interception.  Javon Clark caught one pass for 41 yards.  Andrew Phillips returned three kickoffs for 54 yards.  Rico Crowder returned two kickoffs for 31 yards.

Boyle County defeated Logan County by the score of 54-16.  Boyle County recorded 18 first downs and 328 yards of total offense.  The Rebels were penalized once for 10 yards.  Logan County recorded eight first downs and 151 yards of total offense.  They were penalized four times for 20 yards, lost a fumble, and had two passes intercepted.

Avery Bodner led Boyle County’s ground game with 77 yards and two touchdowns on seven carries.  Sage Dawson carried the ball three times for 24 yards and a touchdown.  Jagger Gillis completed 11 of 12 passes for 173 yards and a touchdown.  Cole Lanter caught six passes for 61 yards.  Avery Bodner added two receptions for 42 yards.  Tommy Ziesmer recorded one reception for 39 yards and a touchdown.  Jayce Crowe led the defense with three solo and four assisted tackles.  Avery Bodner added three solo and three assisted tackles.  Cole Sims recorded four solo and one assisted tackles and intercepted a pass.  Cole Lanter intercepted a pass and Will Alexander recovered a fumble he returned 31 yards for a touchdown.

Pikeville defeated Raceland by the score of 36-7 to advance to the championship game.  Pikeville recorded 17 first downs and 445 yards of total offense.  The Panthers were penalized nine times for 75 yards and lost two fumbles.  Raceland recorded 14 first downs and 168 yards of total offense.  The Rams were penalized four times for 55 yards and had three passes intercepted.

Blake Birchfield led Pikeville’s ground game with 189 yards and three touchdowns on 22 carries.  Blake Caudill carried the ball once for 33 yards.  Isaac McNamee completed 10 of 15 passes for 187 yards and two touchdowns.  Wade Hensley caught five passes for 111 yards and a touchdown.  Zac Lockhart added four receptions for 74 yards and a touchdown.  Wade Hensley, Logan Reed, and Luke Ray each intercepted a pass.

Noah Wallace led Raceland’s ground game with 57 yards on eight carries.  Jules Farrow added 26 yards on eight carries.  Logan Lundy ran for one touchdown.  Logan Lundy completed nine of 13 passes for 50 yards with three interceptions.  Parker Fannin caught three passes for 30 yards.  Landyn Newman added two receptions for 15 yards.  Landyn Newman returned three kickoffs for 33 yards.  Cole Conlin led the defense with four solo tackles.

Lexington Christian Academy dominated tonight in a 58-0 victory over Middlesboro.  Lexington Christian Academy recorded 17 first downs and 338 yards of total offense.  The Eagles were penalized three times for 30 yards.  Middlesboro recorded five first downs and 51 yards of total offense.  The Yellowjackets were penalized twice for 15 yards and had three passes intercepted.

JVeontae Emerson led LCA’s ground game with 67 yards and a touchdown on three carries.  Xavier Brown added 46 yards and two touchdowns on three carries.  Saxton Howard recorded 42 yards and a touchdown on three carries.  Josh Tejerina carried the ball four times for 33 yards and a touchdown.  Drew Nieves completed one of three passes for 41 yards and a touchdown.  Parker Chaney caught one pass for 41 yards and a touchdown.  Parker Chaney and Mason Moore each returned one punt for 12 and 10 yards respectively.  Johnny Bruce Drake led the defense with three solo and two assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses.  Jeffrey Selby recorded six assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses.  Elijah Hammond, Nate Barnhardt, and Will Orberson each recorded a pass interception.

Caleb Bogonko led Middlesboro’s ground game with 44 yards on 12 carries.  Cayden Grigsby completed two of 11 passes for seven yards with three interceptions.  Eric Helton and Kameron Wilson each caught one pass for four and three yards respectively.  Logan Daniels and Jay West each caught one pass for 14 yards each.  Spencer Wheeler led the defense with four solo and three assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a loss.  Will Smith added four solo and two assisted tackles.  Eric Helton recorded one solo and four assisted tackles.
