Keevi Betts, and 5-0 Sr. Mallory James.  Boyle County Ryan Wiersma countered with 5-8 Jr. Ella Coffey, 5-8 Fr. Kendra Christopher, 5-10 So. Peyton Bugg, 5-6 So. Annabelle Tarter, and 5-2 Jr. Zoey Robbins.

 

Boyle County defeated Middlesboro by the score of 64-33.  Boyle County shot 46.8% from the field including 10 of 23 from the three point line.  The Lady Rebels connected on 10 of 18 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 35 points off 31 Middlesboro turnovers.  Middlesboro shot 32.4% from the field including three of 18 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Jackets connected on six of 10 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 21 Boyle County turnovers.

 

Peyton Bugg led a balanced Boyle County scoring attack with 15 points including six of eight free throws, four rebounds, six assists, and five steals.  Annabelle Tarter added 15 points including four three point baskets, four rebounds, and four steals.  5-6 So. Camryn Thompson recorded 13 points including three three point baskets.  Ella Coffey chipped in with 11 points, eight rebounds, and three assists.  Zoey Robbins added 10 points including two three point baskets and three steals.  Kendra Christopher recorded seven rebounds, three assists, and three steals.

 

Keevi Betts led Middlesboro with 17 points including three three point baskets, four rebounds, and two steals.  Kailey Owens added nine points, two rebounds, and two blocked shots.

Kylie Gayheart, and 5-2 Jr. Ally Hall.  Rockcastle County coach Chrysti Noble countered with 6-0 Jr. Keelee King, 5-7 Jr. Calleigh Burdette, 6-1 So. Talynne Shearer, 5-3 Jr. Karlee Smith, and 5-3 Sr. Addison McClure.

 

Rockcastle County trailed 31-20 at halftime but rallied to defeat Knott County Central by the score of 60-56.  The score was tied three times and there were two lead changes in the game.  Rockcastle County shot 46.8% from the field including seven of 18 from the three point line.  The Lady Tockets connected on nine of 15 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 14 Knott County Central.  Knott County Central shot 47.7% from the field including nine of 19 from beyond the arc.  They connected on five of nine free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 12 Rockcastle County turnovers.

 

Keelee King led Rockcastle County with 18 points including four three point baskets, three rebounds, and two assists.  Talynne Shearer added 14 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and one steal.  Calleigh Burdette recorded 10 points, six rebounds, and three assists.  5-4 So. Haven King chipped in with seven points and four rebounds.

Pulaski County defeated Madison Central by the score of 62-58.  The score was tied 11 times and there were eight lead changes in the game.  Free throw shooting doomed Madison Central today as they were only 11 of 27 from the charity stripe.  Pulaski County shot 34.5% from the field including five of 24 from the three point line.  The Lady Maroons connected on 17 of 21 free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 20 Madison Central turnovers.  Madison Central shot 40% from the field including three of 10 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Indians connected on 11 of 27 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 23 Pulaski County turnovers.

North Laurel coach Nate Valentine started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Caden Harris, 6-0 So. Brody Brock, 6-4 Jr. Ryan Davidson, 5-11 Sr. Clay Sizemore, and 6-3 Jr. Reed Sheppard.  Covington Catholic coach Scott Ruthsatz countered with 6-6 Jr. Chandler Starks, 6-2 Sr. Mekhi Wilson, 6-8 Sr. Mitchell Rylee, 5-11 Jr. Evan Ipsaro, and 6-1 Jr. Kascyl McGillis.

 

Covington Catholic defeated North Laurel 79-67 ti capture the KOB title.  Covington Catholic shot 58.5% from the field including seven of 20 from the three point line.  The Colonels connected on 10 of 16 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and committed seven turnovers.  North Laurel shot 53.2% from the field including six of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Jaguars connected on 11 of 13 free throws, pulled down 21 rebounds, and committed 10 turnovers.

 

Evan Ipsaro led Covington Catholic with 34 points including two three point baskets, six of six free throws, and seven assists.  Mitchell Rylee added 19 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, and two blocked shots.  Rylee was nine of 11 from the field and connected on one of two free throws.  6-1 So. Brady Hussey recorded 13 points including two three point baskets and two assists.  Chandler Starks chipped in with four points, 10 rebounds, and six assists.

 

Reed Sheppard led North Laurel with 25 points including three three point baskets, six of eight free throws, eight rebounds, nine assists, and three steals.  Ryan Davidson added 24 points including two three point baskets, and four assists.  Caden Harris recorded 10 points.
