Southwestern defeated Lexington Catholic by the score of 58-45.  Southwestern shot 46% from the field including eight of 27 from the three point line.  The Lady Warriors connected on four of seven free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored three points off five Lexington Catholic turnovers.  Lexington Catholic shot 27.6% from the field including four of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Knights connected on nine of 18 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 13 Southwestern turnovers.

Kinsey Molden led Southwestern with 23 points including three three point baskets, seven rebounds, and two assists.  Ayden Smiddy added nine points on three three point baskets, six rebounds, and five assists.  Payton Acey recorded six points, 13 rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Makayla Noritis recorded six points, five rebounds, four assists, and three blocked shots.  Kaylee Young chipped in with six points on two three point baskets, five rebound, five assists, and two blocked shots.  5-9 Sr. Taylor Nelson added eight points.

South Laurel raced out to a 35-11 first quarter lead on their way to an 80-47 victory over Scott County.  South Laurel shot 50.9% from the field including 12 of 24 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on 10 of 16 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 35 points off 25 Scott County turnovers.  Scott County shot 34.1% from the field including seven of 23 from beyond the arc.  The Cardinals connected on 10 of 12 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 14 South Laurel turnovers.
