Jazzy Meade.  Mercy Academy coach Nick Cann countered with 6-1 Jr. Emma Barnett, 5-10 Jr. Mary Smith, 6-2 Fr. Leah Macy, 5-5 Fr. Alyssa Murphy, and 5-5 Sr. Gracie Helm.

 

Mercy Academy defeated Shelby Valley by the score of 70-55.  Mercy Academy shot 4.45 from the field including eight of 25 from the three point line.  The Jaguars connected on eight of eight free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 14 Shelby Valley turnovers.  Shelby Valley shot 35.1% from the field including nine of 23 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Kats connected on six of 11 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 15 Mercy Academy turnovers.

 

Leah Macy led mercy Academy with 23 points including four of four free throws, 15 rebounds, three assists, and four blocked shots.  Emma Barnett added 14 points including two three point baskets, six rebounds, two assists, and three steals.  Alyssa Murphy recorded 13 points, six rebounds, and four assists.  Gracie Helm chipped in with 11 points including three three point baskets, three rebounds, and two assists.  Mary Smith dished out seven assists.

 

Cassidy Rowe led Shelby Valley with 27 points including six three point baskets, three rebounds, five assists, and four steals.  Alyssa Elswick added 14 points, 10 rebounds, and two steals.  Kyra Looney recorded six points on two three point baskets, three rebounds, and two steals.

Brianna Byars led GRC with 19 points, eight rebounds, three assists, two blocked shots, and two steals.  Ciara Byars added 12 points, five rebounds, four assists, and two blocked shots.  Tyra Flowers recorded 10 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and three steals.  Trinity Gay chipped in with 10 points including two three point baskets.
