North Laurel coach Nate Valentine started the following lineup: 6-4 Jr. Ryan Davidson, 6-3 Jr. Reed Sheppard, 6-2 Sr. Caden Harris, 5-11 Sr. Clay Sizemore, and 6-0 So. Brody Brock. Covington Catholic coach Scott Ruthsatz countered with 6-6 Jr. Chandler Starks, 6-1 Jr. Kascyl McGillis, 6-8 Sr. Mitchell Rylee, 5-11 Jr. Evan Ipsaro, and 6-1 So. Brady Hussey.
Covington Catholic outscored North Laurel 26-12 in the third quarter on their way to a 58-50 victory over the Jaguars.
