Bryan Station coach Serena Sandusky started the following lineup: 5-10 Sr. Tania Woodall, 5-8 Fr. Jailenn Green, 5-11 So. Kailyn Gentry, 5-6 Jr. Emily Gomez, and 5-6 Jr. Makari Murphy. Lafayette coach Allison Denton countered with 5-10 Sr. Olivia Cathers, 5-7 Sr. Lauren Walton, 6-1 Sr. Anaya Brown, 5-1 Sr. Catherine Jacobs, and 5-5 Jr. Gracyn Grantz.
Lafayette outscored Bryan Station 16-4 in the third quarter on their way to a 66-50 victory. There were five lead changes and two ties in this game. Lafayette shot 51.2% from the field including three of 12 from the three point line. Tania Woodall led Bryan Station with 17 points including six of six free throws, seven rebounds, and three steals. Makari Murphy added 11 points including three three point baskets. Jailenn Green recorded eight points, two assists, and three steals. Kailyn Gentry chipped in with seven points and six rebounds.
