Lexington Christian Academy coach Ted Hall started the following lineup: 6-3 Jr. Tyler Hall, 6-1 Sr. Jeffrey Selby, 6-4 Sr. Pierce Ragland, 6-0 So. Brayden Mirus, and 6-1 Sr. Jack Preston.  Lexington Catholic coach Brandon Salsman countered with 6-4 Jr. Hudson Sparks, 6-2 Sr. Jack Gohmann, 6-10 Jr. Reece Potter, 6-0 Sr. Blake Busson, and 6-0 So. John Reinhart.

 

Lexington Catholic defeated Lexington Christian Academy by the score of 62-54.  The score was tied three times and there were seven lead changes in the game.  Lexington Catholic shot 59.4% from the field including three of 13 from the three point line.  The Knights connected on 21 of 30 free throws, pulled down 20 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 14 LCA turnovers.  LCA shot 50% from the field including eight of 19 from beyond the arc.  The Eagles connected on eight of nine free throws, pulled down 18 rebounds, and scored eight points off nine Lexington Catholic turnovers.

 

Reece Potter led Lexington Catholic with 29 points, seven rebounds, and two steals.  Potter was 11 of 11 from the field and seven of 10 from the free throw line.  Jack Gohmann added 12 points including seven of 10 free throws, two rebounds, eight assists, and four steals.  John Reinhart recorded 10 points including seven of 10 free throws.

 

Tyler Hall led LCA with 24 points including two three point baskets and six of seven free throws.  6-1 Fr. Andersen Green added 11 points including three three point baskets.  Jeffrey Selby recorded five points and six rebounds.

Lafayette defeated Tates Creek 55-53 in overtime.  The score was tied nine times and there were eight lead changes in this game.  Lafayette shot 37.2% from the field including six of 22 from the three point line.  The Lady Generals connected on 17 of 22 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 13 Tates Creek turnovers.  Tates Creek shot 26.9% from the field including five of 25 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Commodores connected on 20 of 31 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 20 Lafayette turnovers.

 

Anaya Brown led Lafayette with 30 points including two three point baskets, 14 of 15 free throws, 13 rebounds, two assists, two blocked shots, and three steals.  5-10 Fr. Tess Nelson added seven points, three rebounds, and five assists.  Olivia Cathers added six points and seven rebounds.  Savannah Simpson chipped in with four points and seven rebounds.  Catherine Jacobs added six points on two three point baskets, two assists, and two steals.

 

Maddie Kauffman led Tates Creek with 16 points including three three point baskets and five of six free throws.  5-6 So. Ashton Harris added 12 points and six rebounds.  Joyce Mukalamusi recorded 12 points including eight of 11 free throws.  Jada Bell chipped in with eight points including two three point baskets and four rebounds.

Bryan Station outscored Sayre 21-10 in the final quarter to earn a 57-50 come-from-behind victory over the Lady Spartans.  Bryan Station actually trailed 30-12 late in the second quarter.  There were four lead changes and three ties in this game.  Bryan Station shot 35.3% from the field including four of 16 from the three point line.  The Lady Defenders connected on 17 of 27 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 24 points off 22 Sayre turnovers.  Sayre shot 40.8% from the field including two of eight from beyond the arc.  The Lady Spartans connected on eight of 17 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 23 Bryan Station turnovers.

 

Victory Sledge led Bryan Station with 16 points including six of eight free throws, 13 rebounds, and two steals.  Jailenn Green added 14 points including five of eight free throws, four rebounds, two assists, and four steals.  Tania Woodall added nine points, eight rebounds, five assists, two blocked shots, and two steals.  5-6 Jr. Makari Murphy chipped in with nine points including two three point baskets, three rebounds, and three steals.

Ayanna-Sarai Darrington led Frederick Douglass with 16 points, 11 rebounds, and three steals.  Niah Rhodes added 15 points including three three point baskets.  Allison Wallace recorded 10 points including four of five free throws, seven rebounds, five assists, four blocked shots, and two steals.  Kate Baker chipped in with six points, two rebounds, two assists, and five steals.
