RaShunda Jones led Indiana with 20 points including 10 of 12 free throws. Saige Stahl added 13 points and nine rebounds. Amber Tretter recorded 13 points, seven rebounds, and two blocked shots. Karsyn Norman chipped in with 12 points including three three point baskets. Ashlynn Shade recorded nine points, 12 rebounds, and four assists.

White Team coach Victor Raso started the following lineup: 6-10 Luke Hunger, 6-9 Leonard Miller, 6-11 Jeremy Foumena, 6-1 Jaden Clayton, and 6-1 Josiah Davis.  Red Team coach Charles Dube-Brais countered with 6-6 Elijah Fisher, 6-6 Elijah Mahi, 6-10 Isaac Jack, 6-4 DJ Jackson, and 6-1 Javier Gilgeous-Glasgow.

 

The Red Team defeated the white Squad by the score of 135-120.  Red Team shot 51.9% from the field including 11 of 32 from the three point line.  They connected on 12 of 26 free throws, pulled down 59 rebounds, and committed 28 turnovers.  The White Team shot 44.9% from the field including 11 of 37 from beyond the arc.  They connected on 55 rebounds, pulled down 55 rebounds, and committed 24 turnovers.

 

Elijah Fisher was named MVP for the Red Team and led them with 28 points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, and five assists.  Elijah Mahi added 22 points, four rebounds, and five assists.  6-11 Thierno Sylla recorded 21 points including three three point baskets and six rebounds.  6-4 Mambourou Mara chipped in with 15 points and 10 rebounds.  6-4 Zaiden Cross added 15 points including three three point baskets.  DJ Jackson added six points and 11 rebounds.

 

6-3 Vasean Allette was named MVP of the White Team and led them with 30 points including five three point baskets and seven steals.  Leonard Miller led 16 points and seven rebounds.  6-5 Wilguens Exacte Jr. recorded 13 points and four rebounds.  Jeremy Foumena chipped in with 12 points including two three point baskets and eight rebounds.  6-4 Cam Slaymaker added 11 points and four rebounds.  6-6 Roman Dean recorded 10 points and seven rebounds.  Luke Hunger tallied 10 points including six of six free throws.

Team USA trailed World Select 26-23 after the first quarter but outscored the visitors 28-19 in the second quarter to take control on their way to a 102-80 victory in this showcase event.  Team USA shot 51.9% from the field including 11 of 21 from the three point line.  They connected on 11 of 18 free throws, pulled down 45 rebounds, and committed 16 turnovers.  Team World shot 38.7% from the field including seven of 27 from beyond the arc.  They connected on 15 of 20 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and committed 18 turnovers.

 

6-6 Cam Whitmore led Team USA with 19 points on seven of eight from the field including two of three from beyond the arc, and three of four from the free throw line.  Dariq Whitehead added 17 points including five three point baskets, five rebounds, four assists, and three steals.  7-0 Kel’el Ware recorded 11 points and five rebounds.  Amari Bailey chipped in with 10 points, five rebounds, and four assists.  6-4 Nick Smith Jr. also scored 10 points.  Dillon Mitchell added six points, eight rebounds, and four assists.

 

Jean Montero led World Select with 23 points including four three point baskets, and five of six free throws.  6-8 Omaha Biliew added 12 points and six rebounds.  Leonard Miller recorded 11 points, five rebounds, two assists, and two blocked shots.  Vincent Iwuchukwu chipped in with nine points and six rebounds.

Ohio All-Stars 99  Kentucky All-Stars 84 (Girls)

 

Kentucky led 48-46 at halftime but Ohio roared back in the second half to earn a 99-84 victory.  Imarianah Russell was instrumental in the early minutes in the second half as she scored eight points to fuel a 12-2 run to propel Ohio to the lead.  Chance Gray came up big late as she hit some key three point baskets to allow Ohio to maintain their advantage. 

 

Chance Gray was named MVP for Ohio and paced the victors with 20 points including four three point baskets.  Imarianah Russell added 15 points and Claire Henson and Macie Taylor both reached double digits with 11 and 10 points respectively.  KK Bransford chipped in with nine points and had her normal all-around game.

 

Amiya Jenkins led the Kentucky All-Stars with 20 points including four three point baskets.  Jaileyah Cotton and Macie Feldman added 11 and 10 points respectively.

Kentucky All-Stars rallied from a 38-30 deficit at halftime to nip Ohio 85-84 on a free throw by Darien Lewis with 7.3 seconds remaining in overtime.  Ohio’s Tom House misses a last second three point attempt and Kentucky held on for the win.  Kentucky trailed for most of the game until they rallied in the final quarter. 

 

Turner Buttry led the Kentucky All-Stars with 13 points including two three point baskets.  Jabrion Spikes also reached double digits with 11 points.  Makur Bar, Mitchell Rylee, Dez Lindsey, and Victor Lado added nine, eight, eight, and seven points respectively.

 

Javan Simmons led the Ohio All-Stars with 13 points including seven free throws.  Tom House added 12 points including two three point baskets and Bowen Hardman recorded 11 points including three three point baskets.  Jagger Landers chipped in with nine points on three three point baskets.

East defeated West by the score of 95-75.  East shot 36.8% from the field including 14 of 35 from the three point line.  They connected on 11 of 14 free throws, pulled down 52 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 21 West turnovers.  West shot 37.8% from the field including six of 19 from beyond the arc.  They connected on 13 of 17 free throws, pulled down 56 rebounds, and scored nine points off 10 East turnovers.

The East team raced out to a 58-38 halftime lead on their way to a 105-81 victory over the West squad.  The East team shot 59.2% from the field including nine of 25 from the three point line.  They connected on six of 22 free throws, pulled down 53 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 12 West turnovers.  West shot 37.8% from the field including eight of 28 from beyond the arc.  They connected on five of 10 free throws, pulled down 45 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 15 East turnovers.

Montverde Academy coach Special Jennings started the following lineup: 6-4 Sr. Janiah Barker, 6-0 Sr. Fernanda Ovalle, 6-5 Sr. Fatima Diakhate, 5-10 Jr. Mjracle Sheppard, and 6-0 Jr. Rusne Augustinaite.  New Hope Academy coach Sam Caldwell countered with 6-2 Sr. Alphonsio Elechio, 6-0 Sr. Jalyn Brown, 6-2 Jr. Laila Reynolds, 5-8 Sr. Kennedy Fauntleroy, and 5-9 Sr. Taniya Lawson.

 

Montverde Academy finished the game on a 15-4 run to earn a 61-57 victory over New Hope Academy.  The score was tied 10 times and there were four lead changes in this game.  Montverde Academy shot 38.8% from the field including four of 11 from the three point line.  The Lady Eagles connected on 19 of 24 free throws, pulled down 43 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 12 New Hope Academy turnovers.  New Hope Academy shot 39.3% from the field including six of 16 from beyond the arc.  They connected on seven of 11 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 22 Montverde Academy turnovers.

 

Fernanda Ovalle led Montverde Academy with 21 points including two three point baskets, three of four free throws, three rebounds, two blocked shots, and three steals.  Mjracle Sheppard added 16 points including six of eight free throws, six rebounds, three assists, and two steals.  6-3 So. Vivian Iwuchuckwu recorded nine points, four rebounds, and two steals.  Janiah Barker chipped in with eight points, 12 rebounds, and three assists.

 

Kennedy Fauntleroy led New Hope Academy with 18 points including two three point baskets, five rebounds, five assists, and five steals.  Jalyn Brown added 14 points including three three point baskets, three of four free throws, two rebounds, three assists, and four steals.  Alphonsio Elechio recorded nine points, five rebounds, and two steals.  Taniya Lawson chipped in with eight points, eight rebounds, two assists, and three steals.

Montverde Academy defeated Link Academy by the score of 60-49.  Montverde Academy shot 43.6% from the field including three of 15 from the three point line.  The Eagles connected on nine of 12 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 15 Link Academy turnovers.  Link Academy shot 32.1% from the field including six of 17 from beyond the arc.  They connected on nine of 10 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored four points off 12 Montverde Academy turnovers.

 

Dillon Mitchell led a balanced Montverde Academy scoring attack with 17 points, 12 rebounds, and three steals.  Dariq Whitehead added 14 points including four of our free throws, four rebounds, and six assists.  Malik Reneau recorded 14 points including four of six free throws, 12 rebounds, and three assists.  Kwame Evans chipped in with 11 points including three three point baskets.

 

Julian Phillips led Link Academy with 16 points including two three point baskets, four of four free throws, and eight rebounds.  Tarris Reed Jr. added seven points and four rebounds.  6-11 Sr. Felix Okpara recorded four points, four rebounds, and four blocked shots.
