Lexington Catholic made quick work of an injury riddled Lexington Christian Academy squad with a 42-6 victory in this year’s version of the “Holy War.” LCA was missing among others two of their top stars on offense Cutter Boley and Drew Nieves. Lexington Catholic recorded 14 first downs and 275 yards of total offense. The Knights were penalized eight times for 57 yards and lost a fumble. LCA recorded11 first downs and 168 yards of total offense. The Eagles were penalized five times for 59 yards and lost a fumble.

Walker Hall led Lexington Catholic’s ground game with 67 yards and three touchdowns on 21 carries. Jackson Wasik completed 13 of 18 passes for 187 yards with two touchdowns. Max DeGraff caught five passes for 107 yards and a touchdown. Hunter Foster added four receptions for 34 yards. Tanner Pedroche caught three passes for 37 yards and a touchdown. Sam Clements returned two punts for 54 yards with a long return of 31 yards. Max DeGraff kicked off seven times woth six touchbacks. Hayden Dawahare led the defense with six solo and three assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 19 yards. Sam Clements added four solo and three assisted tackles. S. Bennington recovered a fumble for a touchdown.

BJ Evans led LCA’s ground game with 30 yards on eight carries. Mac Darland carried the ball six times for 21 yards. Will Nichols completed seven of 12 passes for 100 yards and one touchdown. Parker Chaney caught four passes for 82 yards and a touchdown. Evan Brown returned one kickoff for 48 yards. Hunter Adams led the defense with six solo tackles and recovered a fumble. Jackson Dillow added five solo tackles. Johnny Drake recorded two solo and two assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 12 yards.

Bryan Station outscored Tates Creek 19-0 over the last eight minutes to pull away for a 40-19 victory over the Commodores. Bryan Station recorded 13 first downs and 289 yards of total offense. The Defenders were penalized five times for 66 yards. Tates Creek scored 12 first downs and 332 yards of total offense. The Commodores were penalized 14 times for 154 yards and lost two fumbles.

B. Benit led Bryan Station’s ground game with 61 yards on nine carries. Jeremiah Mundy-Lloyd carried the ball 10 times for 43 yards and two touchdowns. Trenton Cutwright added 24 yards on four carries. Trenton Cutwright completed eight of 15 passes for 161 yards and two touchdowns. JT Haskins Jr. caught six passes for 140 yards and two touchdowns. Damin Green added one reception for 17 yards. Damin Green returned two punts for 91 yards including one return of 65 yards and a touchdown and returned one kickoff for 24 yards. JT Haskins returned two kickoffs for 42 yards including a long return of 22 yards. JT Haskins led the defense with seven solo tackles. Jason Hocker added five solo and one assisted tackles with 4.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling five yards. Dahvon Frazier recorded four solo and two assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 12 yards. Jahvon Frazier and Trayvon Mason each recovered a fumble.

Marquevion Smth added Tates Creek’s ground game with 44 yards and a touchdown on three carries. Andrew Witherington completed 17 of 32 passes for 264 yards and one touchdown. Ke’shon Douthitt caught nine passes for 195 yards and a touchdown. Marquevion Smith returned one punt for 70 yards and a touchdown. Ke’shon Douthitt returned three kickoffs for 42 yards including a long return of 26 yards. Cooper Jackson returned two kickoffs for 38 yards with a long return of 21 yards. Logan Julian led the defense with four solo and four assisted tackles. Josiah Green added five sollo tackles. Thomas Seigler recorded three solo and one assisted tackles.

Madison Central, despite bring without the services of stars Brady Hensley and Kenyatta Hardge due to injuries defeated Lafayette by the score of 46-0 on Homecoming night. The win may prove costly because star WR/DB Jayden West who had caught two touchdown passes and scored on an interception return was ejected for an excessive celebration penalty which was hotly contested by Coach Mike Holcomb and barring an overturn on appeal will have to miss two additional games. Madison Central recorded 16 first downs and 376 yards of total offense. The Indians were penalized 11 times for 133 yards and lost a fumble. Lafayette recorded four first downs and 71 yards of total offense. The Generals were penalized four times for 31 yards and had three passes intercepted.

Brock Eads led Madison Central’s ground game with 115 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries. Hagan Harrison carried the ball six times for 59 yards. Hagan Harrison completed nine of 14 passes for 169 yards and three touchdowns. Jayden West caught three passes for 82 yards and two touchdowns. Travis Grant added three receptions for 60 yards and one touchdown. Brocks Eads returned one kickoff for 88 yards and a touchdown and the final block came on a crushing downfield block by Jayden West. Parker Mullins led the defense with four solo and four assisted tackles. Cody Maggard added two solo and four assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling three yards. Jayden West intercepted two passes and returned on of the interceptions 31 yards for a touchdown. Trevor Dennis also intercepted a pass he returned 37 yards.

P. Thurman led Lafayette’s ground game with 18 yards on two carries. J. Stephens carried the ball 11 times for 17 yards. Isaac Barrow completed five of 12 passes for 12 yards with three interceptions. Kevin Amuri caught three passes for 11 yards. Terrazae Taylor returned three kickoffs for 81 yards with a long return of 33 yards. E. Pierre-Louis returned two kickoffs for 42 yards with a long return of 27. P. Thurman returned two kickoffs for 41 yards with a long return of 25 yards. Darian Kesner led the defense with three solo and three assisted tackles. Cael Green added two solo and four assisted tackles. Dane Washington recorded three solo and one assisted tackles. E. Pierre-Louis recovered a fumble.

Covington Catholic defeated Dixie Heights by the score of 47-14. Covington Catholic recorded 24 first downs and 423 yards of total offense. The Colonels were penalized eight times for 76 yards and lost two fumbles. Dixie Heights recorded 11 first downs and 163 yards of total offense. The Colonels were penalized 11 times for 94 yards and lost a fumble and had a pass intercepted.

Owen Leen led Covington Catholic’s ground game with 96 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries. Evan Pitzer carried the ball four times for 33 yards. Zaccary Roberts completed 12 of 14 passes for 179 yards and four touchdowns. Evan Pitzer completed four of six passes for 44 yards and a touchdown. Braylon Miller caught five passes for 77 yards and a touchdown. Willi Rodriguez added three receptions for 83 yards and three touchdowns. Ben McEvoy recorded three receptions for 30 yards and a touchdown. Braylon Miller returned two punts for 27 yards with a long return of 15 yards and returned three kickoffs for 67 yards with a long return of 32 yards. Tate Kruer led the defense with eight solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a one yard loss. Aiden Jones added seven solo and one assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totaling eight yards. Armani Gregg completed nine of 17 passes for 68 yards with one interception. Gavin Hudson caught two passes for 20 yards. Jonas McDaniel added two receptions for 17 yards. Trey Barnette chipped in with two receptions for 12 yards. David Anderson returned four kickoffs for 75 yards with a long return of 28 yards. Caleb Hinkle returned two kickoffs for 46 yards including a long return of 32 yards. Brach Rice led the defense with 12 solo and two assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a two yard loss. Bullitt East rolled up 527 yards of total offense in a 54-21 victory over Graves County. Bullitt East recorded 26 first downs and 527 yards of total offense. The Chargers were penalized eight times for 70 yards. Graves County recorded nine first downs and 239 yards of total offense. The Eagles were penalized four times for 40 yards and lost a fumble.

Travis Egan led Bullitt East’s ground game with 205 yards and four touchdowns on 12 carries. Mason Gauthier carried the ball 13 times for 122 yards and a touchdown. Travis Egan completed 15 of 22 passes for 201 yards and a touchdown. Camron Brogan caught three passes for 72 yards. Nolan Davenport added 53 yards and a touchdown on five carries. Austin Wilson recorded four receptions for 38 yards. Camron Brogan returned two punts for 25 yards. Nolan Davenport returned two kickoffs for 67 yards including one for 65 yards and a touchdown. Logan County defeated Franklin-Simpson by the score of 41-31. Logan County recorded 21 first downs and 400 yards of total offense. They were penalized 11 times for 110 yards. Franklin-Simpson recorded 20 first downs and 305 yards of total offense. They were penalized eight times for 75 yards and had one pass intercepted.

Ryan Rayno led Logan County’s ground game with 141 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries. Junvontre Dillard carried the ball three times for 34 yards. Davin Yates completed 16 of 20 passes for 191 yards and four touchdowns. Harper Butler caught three passes for 73 yards and two touchdowns. Zane Batten added five receptions for 63 yards and a touchdown. Jack Delaney recorded two receptions for 24 yards and a touchdown. Dayton Blackford also caught two passes for 24 yards. Junvontre Dillard returned one kickoff for 34 yards. Hunter Holloway led the defense with five solo and four assisted tackles. Isaac Poe added seven solo and one assisted tackles. Peyton Taylor recorded four solo and three assisted tackles. Elijah Hawkins added three solo and four assisted tackles. Zane Batten intercepted a pass.

Blake McPherson led Franklin-Simpson’s ground game with 58 yard and a touchdown on nine carries. Collin Anderson carried the ball eight times for 39 yards. Hayden Satterly recorded 32 yards and a touchdown on nine carries. Brady Delk completed nine of 14 passes for 159 yards and a touchdown with one interception. Jalen Briscoe caught five passes for 96 yards and one touchdown. Daniel Klingman added two receptions for 62 yards. Isaac Callis returned three kickoffs for 69 yards. Collin Anderson returned four kickoffs for 64 yards. Atakis Allen led the defense with nine solo and three assisted tackles. Hayden Satterly added six solo and three assisted tackles. Spencer County utilized their “Winged-T” offense to defeat Collins by the score of 43-37. Spencer County recorded 15 first downs and 395 yards of total offense. They were penalized six times for 50 yards and lost a fumble. Collins recorded 20 first downs and 428 yards of total offense. They were penalized four times for 35 yards.

Camden Cardwell led Spencer County’s ground game with 180 yards and three touchdowns on 13 carries. Kellen Marksbury carried the ball seven times for 94 yards. Gabe Bowling recorded 49 yards and two touchdowns on nine carries. Gabe Bowling completed one of four passes for 47 yards and a touchdown. Brice Roark caught a 47 yard touchdown pass. Camden Cardwell returned two kickoffs for 48 yards.

Kenyon Goodin led Collins ground game with 198 yards and three touchdowns on 28 carries. Kenyon Goodin completed 11 of 21 passes for 189 yards and two touchdowns. Darius Evans caught five passes for 99 yards and a touchdown. Quinten Wooten added three receptions for 66 yards and a touchdown. Caleb Bailey returned two kickoffs for 42 yards. Darius Evans returned one kickoff for 26 yards. Joshua Lainhart led the defense with four solo and two assisted tackles and Kenyon Goodin added four solo and one assisted tackles. Antwon Delaney recorded three solo and one assisted tackles and recovered a fumble. Caleb Bailey and Hunter Klusch each chipped in with three solo and one assisted tackles each.

A combination of a strong CAL performance, five LCA turnovers, and the departure of LCA star QB Cutter Boley in the third quarter due to an ankle injury allowed CAL to earn a 49-14 victory. CAL led 21-14 at halftime but when Boley went down with an injury and their backup QB and star WR/RB Nieves out with an injury LCA was severely hampered. CAL recorded 18 first downs and 409 yards of total offense. The Centurions were penalized four times for 30 yards and had two passes intercepted. LCA recorded 16 first downs and 295 yards of total offense. He Eagles were penalized three times for 25 yards, lost three fumbles, and had two passes intercepted.

Gavin Copenhaver led CAL’s ground game with 89 yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries. Cole Hodge added 59 yards and a touchdown on nine carries. Cole Hodge complated eight of 17 passes for 216 yards and three touchdowns with two interceptions. Gavin Copenhaver caught three passes for 80 yards and two touchdowns. Darwin Cotton added two receptions for 89 yards and a touchdown. Isaac Patrick returned one punt for 12 yards. Justin Ruffin returned two kickoffs for 63 yards. Gavin Copenhaver led the defense with four solo and one assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses. Isaac Patrick added three solo and four assisted tackles and intercepted a pass. Darwin Cotton recorded two solo and five assisted tackles. McKade Battcher also intercepted a pass. Nathaniel Heidenrich, Nathan Ehrenborg, and Gunnar McKinley each recovered a fumble,

Jveontae Emerson led LCA’s ground game with 44 yards on 10 carries. Cutter Boley completed 16 of 23 passes for 201 yards and one touchdown with two interceptions. Parker Chaney caught eight passes for 103 yards. Evan Brown caught six passes for 61 yards. Will Bivens caught a 28 yard touchdown pass. Evan Brown returned three kickoffs for 20 yards. Major Brown led the defense with eight solo and three assisted tackles. Johnny Bruce Drake added two solo and four assisted tackles. Will Nichols and Evan Brown each intercepted a pass.

Henry Clay defeated Eastern by the score of 18-12. Henry Clay recorded eight first down and 237 yards of total offense. The Blue Devils were penalized seven times for 50 yards. Eastern recorded 14 first downs and 378 yards of total offense. The Eagles were penalized seven times for 60 yards and lost three fumbles.

Jacob Childress led Henry Clay’s ground game with 71 yards on 15 carries. Malcolm Paul carried the ball 12 times for 61 yards and a touchdown. Jayden Bailey recorded 20 yards and a touchdown on five carries. Malcolm Paul completed five of 13 passes for 104 yards and a touchdown. J. Kreutzer caught three passes for 65 yards. L. Barrentine caught one pass for 39 yards and a touchdown. J.Kreutzer returned two punts for 14 yards with a long return of 10 yards. Scyler Hersey returned two kickoffs for 25 yards with a long return of 15 yards. L. Barrentine led the defense with six solo and 10 assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a two yard loss recovered a fumble. Jayden Bailey added six solo and four assisted tackles. Donovan Cowan recorded four solo and three assisted tackles and recovered two fumbles.

Quintel Thomas led Eastern’s ground game with 212 yards and a touchdown on 27 carries. Tyson Huffman carried the ball 10 times for 96 yards and a touchdown. Noah Lherault completed five of 10 passes for 34 yards. Jayden Allen caught three passes for 27 yards. Joshua Shipley returned one punt for 21 yards. Noah Lherault returned two kickoffs for 18 yards with a long return of 21 yards. Nick Hiegel led the defense with five solo and four assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totaling four yards. Joshua Shipley added four solo and four assisted tackles.

Scott County rallied from a 20-0 deficit at halftime to earn a 21-20 victory over Bryan Station. Ellis Huguely scored on a one yard run and added a 2-point conversion pass from Andrew Hickey to pull Scott County to within six; 20-14 with 8:00 left in the game. Paul Garner intercepted a pass and returned it 18 yards to the Bryan Station to put Scott County back in business at the Bryan Station 16. Ali Hamdiyah followed up with a three yard TD run and Ian Stanley added the conversion kick to give Scott County a 21-20 lead with 5;54 left on the clock. Luke Valencia ensured the victory with a late interception. Scott County recorded 13 first down and 269 yards of total offense. The Cardinals were penalized 13 times for 70 yards and had a pass intercepted. Bryan Station recorded nine first downs and 225 yards of total offense. The Defenders were penalized five times for 37 yards and had two passes intercepted.

Jacob Fryman led Scott County’s ground game with 104 yards on 17 carries. Ali Hamdiyah carried the ball eight times for 66 yards and two touchdowns. Thomas Feickert recorded 45 yards on 10 carries. Andrew Hickey completed four of eight passes for 41 yards with one interception. Ellis Huguely caught two passes for 15 yards. Thomas Feickert caught one pass for 18 yards. Logan Jones returned two kickoffs for 60 yards with a long return of 38 yards. Buddy Collins returned one kickoff for 24 yards. Luke Valencia led the defense with five solo and two assisted tackles and intercepted a pass. Elijah Adams added three solo and four assisted tackles. Benit returned one kickoff for 38 yards. Jason Hocker led the defense with nine solo and one assisted tackles. Jahvon Frazier and Nikalos Dixon added five solo and one assisted tackles each. Jaiden Shegog intercepted a pass he returned 70 yards for a touchdown.
