Woodford County pulled away late in the final quarter to defeat Pulaski County by the score of 49-28. Woodford County recorded 25 first downs and 436 yards of total offense. The Yellow Jackets were penalized 12 times for 120 yards. Pulaski County recorded 16 first downs and 239 yards of total offense. The Maroons were penalized nine times for 65 yards and lost three fumbles.

Preston Stacy led Woodford County’s ground game with 121 yards on 15 carries. Wyatt Crowe added 58 yards and a touchdown on three carries. Andrew Nason recorded 47 yards on seven carries. Abdul Bilal carried the ball four times for 34 yards and a touchdown. Kenyun Maxberry chipped in with 20 yards and a touchdown on six carries. Andrew Nason completed 16 of 22 passes for 150 yards and one touchdown. Aden Nelson caught seven passes for 85 yards. Preston Stacy added three receptions for 31 yards. Jabari Alexander caught a 14 yard touchdown pass. Kenyun Maxberry and Abdul Bilal each returned a kickoff for 20 and 14 passes respectively. Caleb Brown scored on a 12 yard fumble recovery return. Mekhi Smith and Matthew Sowards also rcovered fumbles.

Ethan Idlewine led Pulaski County’s ground game with 47 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries. Chandler Godby carried the ball twice for 39 yards. Brysen Dugger completed 13 of 26 passes for 159 yards and two touchdowns. Chandler Godby caught 10 passes for 131 yards and two touchdowns. Chandler Godby returned two kickoffs for 110 yards including a touchdown return of 90 yards. Harris Denmyer returned a kickoff for 21 yards. Jericho Dixon led the defense with eight solo and two assisted tackles. Layton Abbott added seven solo and four assisted tackles. Jay Bales recorded six solo and seven assisted tackles. Drew Inabnitt chipped in with four solo and five assisted tackles.

Trinity defeated Simon Kenton by the score of 51-20. Trinity recorded 22 first downs and 333 yards of total offense. The Shamrocks were penalized four times for 20 yards and lost a fumble. Simon Kenton recorded 14 first downs and 304 yards of total offense. The Pioneers were penalized once for five yards and had a pass intercepted.

Trinity’s ground game was led by Andrew Allen with 136 yards and a touchdown on 25 carries. Clinton Sansbury added 12 carries for 53 yards and a touchdown. Jeremiah Lynn recorded 44 yards and two touchdowns on six carries. Andrew Allen completed four of six passes for 38 yards. Noah Meyers caught three passes for 28 yards. Jeremiah Lynn returned punts for touchdowns of 60 and 55 yards. Kellen McLaughlin kicked field goals of 51, 38, and 39 yards, six of six conversion kicks, and kicked off seven times for seven touchbacks. Gabe Mingus intercepted a pass.

Chase Crone led Simon Kenton’s ground game with 132 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries. Jayden Lawson carried the ball 19 times for 48 yards. Chase Crone completed seven of 17 passes for 121 yards with one interception. Chase Williams caught five passes for 70 yards, Jayden Lawson added one reception for 42 yards. Nathan Kitchens scored on a 28 yard fumble recovery return.

Paintsville defeated Bishop Brossart by the score of 42-16. Paintsville recorded 24 first downs and 358 yards of total offense. The Tigers were penalized five times for 60 yards. Bishop Brossart recorded 11 first downs and 149 yards of total offense. They were penalized six times for 85 yards and had one pass intercepted.

Harris Phelps led Paintsville’s ground game with 155 yards and four touchdowns on 21 carries. Grayson Peters carried the ball seven times for 45 yards and a touchdown. Frederick James completed 11 of 14 passes for 173 yards and one touchdown. Harris Phelps caught four passes for 64 yards. Jonah Porter added two receptions for 35 yards. Connor Fugate added two receptions for 33 yards. Austin Allen added two receptions for 28 yards and a touchdown. Austin Allen returned one punt for 14 yards and returned one kickoff for 20 yards. Cain Grim led the defense with seven solo and two assisted tackles. Justin Ramey added four solo and one assisted tackles. Jonah Porter recorded four solo tackles.

Evan Orth led the Bishop Brossart ground game with 25 yards and a touchdown on nine carries. Derek Martin carried the ball twice for 16 yards. Frederick Douglass improves to 12-0 and continues to dominate competition in a 33-6 victory over Covington Catholic. Frederick Douglass recorded 15 first downs and 305 yards of total offense. The Broncos were penalized six times for 59 yards and lost a fumble. Covington Catholic recorded four first downs and 47 yards of total offense. The Colonels were penalized once for nine yards and had a pass intercepted.

TJ Horton led Frederick Douglass’ ground game with 57 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries. Ty Bryant carried the ball three times for 40 yards. DeVaun Hart carried the ball eight times for 10 yards and a touchdown. Cole Carpenter completed 15 of 24 passes for 207 yards and three touchdowns. Tylon Dunn caught seven passes for 76 yards. Tate Johnson added three receptions for 43 yards. Cameron Dunn recorded two receptions for 49 yards and two touchdowns. DeVaun Hart added a 22 yard touchdown reception. Ty Bryant returned four punts for 41 yards with a long return of 20 yards and returned one kickoff for 19 yards. Cameron Dunn returned one kickoff for 25 yards. Tresean Benford led the defense with five solo and two assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 11 yards. Darion Neal added five solo and two assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling eight yards. Brandon Brooks recorded three solo and three assisted tackles Isaiah Kenney added three solo tackles and intercepted a pass he returned 11 yards.

Owen Leen led Covington Catholic’s ground game with 30 yards on 14 carries. Zaccary Roberts completed three of seven passes for 14 yards with one interception. Owen Leen caught two passes for seven yards. Ben McEvoy added one reception for seven yards. Marcus Suwinski returned one kickoff for eight yards. Tate Kruer led the defense with five solo and four assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling six yards. Aiden Jones added six solo tackles with four of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 17 yards. Josh Flood recorded four solo and three assisted tackles and recovered a fumble for a touchdown.

Basketball on Grass”, “Fast Break Football” whatever you want to call it these two teams combined for 87 points, 45 first downs, and 1090 yards of total offense in a Madison Central 45-42 victory over Paul Laurence Dunbar. The two teams combined for 853 yards and nine touchdowns on the ground. Madison Central recorded 20 first downs and 509 yards of total offense. The Indians were penalized eight times for 71 yards, lost sfumble, and had two passes intercepted. Paul Laurence Dunbar recorded 25 first downs and 581 yards of total offense. The Bulldogs were penalized eight times for 78 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

Brady Hensley carried the ball 28 times for 323 yards and five touchdowns. (Hensley also had a 70 yard touchdown called back because of a penalty). Hagan Harrison carried the ball 13 times for 74 yards. Hagan Harrison completed three of eight passes for 109 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions. Jayden West caught three passes for 109 yards and a touchdown. Leo Sotelo returned three kickoffs for 39 yards with a long return of 27 yards. Jayden West returned one kickoff for 62 yards. Cody Maggard led the defense with seven solo and five assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling nine yards. Parker Mullins added six solo and four assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling five yards. Sam Farmer recorded five solo and five assisted tackles. Trevor Dennis chipped in with eight solo tackles and intercepted a pass he returned 19 yards.

Noah Chapman led Dunbar’s ground game with 260 yards and a touchdown on 33 carries. Cole Colony carried the ball 32 times for 194 yards and three touchdowns. Cole Colony completed eight of 19 passes for 128 yards and one touchdown with one interception. Harrison Simpson caught two passes for 46 yards and a touchdown. Trae Berry added two receptions for 45 yards. Jaden Commodore returned one kickoff for 90 yards and a touchdown. Colton Turlington led the defense with six solo and three assisted tackles and recovered a fumble. Kaylib Nelson added five solo and two assisted tackles and intercepted two passes he returned 19 yards. Grant Angel recorded four solo and three assisted tackles.

Lexington Catholic defeated Bourbon County by the score of 14-0. Lexington Catholic recorded 21 first downs and 308 yards of total offense. The Knights were penalized nine times for 95 yards, lost a fumble, and had one pass intercepted. Bourbon County recorded 11 first downs and 201 yards of total offense. The Colonels were penalized 13 times for 111 yards.

Max Mooring led Lexington Catholic’s ground game with 123 yardson 21 carries. Walker Hall added 74 yards on 11 carries. Jackson Wasik completed 15 of 21 passes for 109 yards and two touchdowns with one interception. Max DeGraff caught seven passes for 44 yards and one touchdown. Sam Clements added four receptions for 36 yards. Tanner Pedroche caught one pass for 23 yards and a touchdown. Spencer Bennington led the defense with seven solo and two assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling eight yards. John Moses added four solo and four assisted tackles. Sam Clements recorded three solo and three assisted tackles. Bennett Williams chipped in with one solo and two assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 12 yards.

Clay Estes led Bourbon County’s ground game with 33 yards on 13 carries. Clay Estes completed 13 of 24 passes for 160 yards. Cameron Santiago caught five passes for 48 yards. Marcus Floyd recorded four receptions for 58 yards. Josh Moody returned one punt for eight yards and returned one kickoff for 32 yards. Marcus Floyd returned one kickoff for 20 yards. Cameron Santiago returned one kickoff for 27 yards. Clay Estes led the defense with eight solo and one assisted tackles. DaMarius Ross added five solo and five assisted tackles. Ryan Lay recorded two solo and eight assisted tackles, recovered a fumble, and intercepted a pass.

Bryan Station defeated Tates Creek by the score of 45-14. Bryan Station recorded 22 first downs and 362 yards of total offense. The Defenders were penalized four times for 79 yards and lost a fumble. Tates Creek recorded three first downs and 108 yards of total offense. The Commodores were penalized six times for 75 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

Jeremiah Mundy-Lloyd led bryan Station’s ground game with 115 yards and three touchdowns on 21 carries. Bayubahe Benit carried the ball 15 times for 62 yards and two touchdowns. Trenton Cutwright completed 14 of 24 passes for 168 yards and one touchdown. JT Haskins Jr. caught seven passes for 119 yards and a touchdown. Damin Green added five receptions for 51 yards. Damin Green returned two punts for 34 yards with a long return of 23 yards. JT Haskins Jr. returned one punt for 76 yards and returned one kickoff for 34 yards. Jason Hocker led the defense with four solo and two assisted tackles. Nikalos Dixon added three solo and one assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling six yards. Z. Dabney recorded three solo tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a two yard loss. M. Baker-Thomas also recorded three soo tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a one yard loss. JT Haskins Jr. intercepted a pass.

M. Smith led the Tates Creek’s ground game with four yards on eight carries. Andrew Witherington completed six of 13 passes for 103 yards and two touchdowns with one interceptions. Ke’shon Douthitt caught two passes for 72 yards and two touchdowns. Jason Bell added two receptions for 25 yards. M. Smith returned two kickoffs for 15 yards with a long return of 15 yards. Mason Jackson returned one kickoff for 13 yards, Kobe Middleton returned one kickoff for 21 yards. Thomas Seigler returned one kickoff for nine yards. Logan Julian led the defense with nine solo and three assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 10 yards. Cartez Guy added six solo tackles. Jaysean Layne recorded two solo and one assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting In losses totaling 22 yards. Cooper Jackson recovered a fumble.

Scott County defeated Highlands by the score of 29-23. Scott County recorded 22 first downs and 346 yards of total offense. The Cardinals were penalized seven times for 90 yards and lost a fumble. Highlands recorded 20 first downs and 315 yards of total offense. The Buebirds were penalized five times for 41 yards, lost a fumble, and had two passes intercepted.

Jacob Fryman led Scott County’s ground game with 154 yards and a touchdown on 29 carries. Thomas Feickert added 79 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries. Ellis Huguely recorded 39 yards on 12 carries. Andrew Hickey completed three of six passes for 56 yards and one touchdown. Isaacy York caught one pass for 27 yards. Ellis Huguely added one reception for 25 yards. Thomas Feickert caught a four yard touchdown pass. Jackson Damron returned one punt for 34 yards. DaQuis Brown returned one kickoff for 17 yards. Elijah Adams led the defense with seven solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a seven yard loss. Luke Valencia added four solo and two assisted tackles and recovered a fumble. Jackson Damron also recorded four solo ad two assisted tackles. Paul Garner and Logan Jones each intercepted a pass. Luke Valencia also scored on a six yard blocked punt return.

Brody Benke led Highlands’ ground game with 62 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries. Dawson Hosea carried the ball four times for 28 yards and a touchdown. Brody Benke completed 17 of 33 passes for 190 yards and a touchdown. Lincoln Hicks was zero of three with two interceptions. Charlie Noon caught six passes for 72 yards. Matteo Matteoli added four receptions for 56 yards and a touchdown. D. Hinegardner recorded two receptions for 26 yards. Charlie Noon returned three kickoffs for 53 yards with a long return of 22 yards. D. Hinegardner returned two kickoffs for 46 yards with a long return of 26 yards. Adam Dunn led the defense with 17 solo and four assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a one yard loss. Sam Robinson added nine solo and three assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totaling nine yards. Adam Bowman recorded five solo tackles. C. Schwalbach recovered a fumble.

The Warhawks were penalized three times for 46 yards and had two passes intercepted.

Owen Leen led Covington Catholic’s ground game with 88 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries. Zacc. Roberts carried the ball nine times for 52 yards and a touchdown. Zacc. Roberts completed 22 of 32 passes for 198 yards with two interceptions. Ben McEvoy caught six passes for 46 yards. Braylon Miller added five receptions for 45 yards. Braylon Miller returned one kickoff for 18 yards. Josh Flood led the defense with seven solo tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totaling eight yards. They were penalized 14 times for 140 yards, lost two fumbles, and had a pass intercepted. Shelby County recorded 22 first downs and 403 yards of total offense. The Rockets were penalized eight times for 80 yards, lost a fumble, and had three passes intercepted.

Kellen Marksbury led Spencer County’s ground game with 316 yards and three touchdowns on 18 carries. Gabe Bowling carried the ball 11 times for 116 yards and one touchdown. Wade Hutt added 105 yards on 15 carries. Gabe Bowling completed three of four passes for 57 yards and two touchdowns. Kellen Marksbury caught three passes for 57 yards and two touchdowns. Wade Hutt returned two kickoffs for 97 yards including a 78 yard return for a touchdown. Justin Kendrick led the defense with eight solo and three assisted tackles and recovered a fumble.
