Madison Southern coach Josh Curtis started the following lineup: 5-8 Sr. Megan Correll, 5-5 So. Ashlan Estep, 5-11 Sr. Bella Moberly, 5-4 Fr. Hadley French, and 5-7 Sr. Tara Wooten. Lafayette coach Allison Denton countered with 5-5 Sr. Gracyn Grantz, 5-3 So. Kierstyn Kelly, 5-10 So. Tess Nelson, 5-4 8th Grade Layla Flynn, and 5-5 Fr. Anna Clay Denton.

Bella Moberly scored on a last second layup in overtime to give Madison Southern a 67-66 victory over Lafayette. Madison Southern trailed 38-24 at halftime but rallied to force overtime and won in overtime. There were eight lead changes and three ties in this game. Madison Southern shot 40% from the field including eight of 23 from the three point line. The Lady Eagles connected on 15 of 23 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 14 Lafayette turnovers. Lafayette shot 39.3% from the field including five of 15 from beyond the arc. The Lady Generals connected on 17 of 23 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 18 Madison Southern turnovers.

Bella Moberly led Madison Southern with 22 points, 13 rebounds, and two blocked shots. 5-10 Fr. Laci Sandlin added 16 points including three three point baskets, three rebounds, and two assists. Hadley French recorded 14 points includi ng four three point baskets and two assists. Ashlan Estep chipped in with seven points and four assists. Tara Wooten added five points, nine rebounds, eight assists, and three steals.

Anna Clay Denton led Lafayette with 17 points including 11 of 12 free throws, two assists, and three steals. Gracyn Grantz added 11 points, six rebounds, and five assists. Kierstyn Kelly recorded 10 points including two three point baskets. 5-8 So. Belle Combs chipped in with eight points and three rebounds. Tess Nelson added seven points and two rebounds. 5-7 Jr. Jackie Tishibangi chipped in with six points and six rebounds. Layla Flynn recorded four points, six rebounds, eight assists, and four steals.

Anderson County coach Clay Birdwhistell countered with 6-0 So. Lainey Johnson, 5-8 Jr. Jenna Beasley, 5-8 Jr. Faith Hyatt, 5-6 Sr. Jenna Satterly, and 5-8 So. Ella Baum.

Anderson County utilized excellent long range shooting (12 3’s) in a 72-40 victory over Lexington Catholic. Anderson County shot 47.1% from the field including 12 of 26 fron the three point line. The Lady Bearcats connected on 12 of 17 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 14 Lexington Catholic turnovers. Lexington Catholic shot 34.1% from the field including two of 12 from beyond the arc. The Lady Knights connected on eight of 15 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored eight points off 12 Anderson County turnovers.

Lainey Johnson led Anderson County with 39 points including seven three point baskets, six of eight free throws, 10 rebounds, three assists, and three steals. Jenna Satterly added 15 points, five rebounds, five assists, and two steals. Ella Baum recorded 11 points including three three point baskets and five rebounds.

Mary Martin Hampton led Lexington Catholic with 16 points, two rebounds, five assists, and four steals. Katherine Truitt added 14 points and five rebounds.

George Rogers Clark defeated Henry Clay by the score of 75-38. GRC shot 65.2% from the field including eight of 13 from the three point line. The Lady Cardinals connected on seven of 11 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 31 points off 22 Henry Clay turnovers. Henry Clay shot 35.7% from the field including three of 12 from beyond the arc. The Lady Blue Devils connected on five of eight free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored seven points off eight GRC turnovers.

Ciars Byars led a balanced GRC scoring attack with 15 points including two three point baskets, five rebounds, five rebounds, three assists, two blocked shots, and four steals. Brianna Byars added 15 points, four rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Kennedy Stamper recorded 15 points including three three point baskets, two rebounds, and two steals. Pineville raced out to a 20-5 first quarter lead on their way to a 79-58 victory over Scott County. Pineville shot 46.8% from the field including three of eight from the three point line. The Lady Lions connected on 18 of 26 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 27 points off 27 Scott County turnovers. Scott County shot 35.9% from the field including five of 20 from beyond the arc. The Lady Cardinals connected on seven of 10 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored four points off 16 Pineville turnovers.

Nadine Johnson led Pineville with 27 points including five of six free throws, 10 rebounds, four assists, and five steals. Rachel Howard added 15 points, 11 rebounds, two blocked shots, and two steals. Abigale Johnson recorded 14 points and three assists. Ava Arnette chipped in with nine points, six rebounds, and two steals.

Rockcastle County defeated Madison Southern 82-78 in a hotly contested game that had 11 ties and 11 lead changes. Rockcastle County shot 48.1% from the field including 11 of 23 from the three point line. The Rockets connected on 21 of 26 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 11 Madison Southern turnovers. Madison Southern shot 54% from the field including six of 18 from beyond the arc. The Eagles connected on 18 of 23 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 16 Rockcastle County turnovers.

Covington Catholic defeated DeSales by the score of 82-76. Covington Catholic shot 59.6% from the field including seven of 15 from the three point line. The Colonels connected on 13 of 16 free throws, pulled down 18 rebounds, and scored 14 points off nine DeSales turnovers. DeSales shot 56.9% from the field including five of 14 from beyond the arc. Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir started the following lineup: 6-0 So. ZaKiyah Johnson, 5-8 Jr. Claire Russell, 6-3 Jr. Angelina Pelayo, 5-8 Sr. Triniti Ralston, and 5-10 Jr. Reagan Bender. Christian Academy of Louisville coach Byron Wilkins Jr. countered with 5-10 Fr. Brianna Wilkins, 5-10 Fr. Ava Moore, 6-1 Jr. Mariah Knight, 5-7 So. Bailee Duck, and 5-8 Jr. Ella Daniels.

Sacred Heart Academy defeated Christian Academy of Louisville by the score of 73-52. Sacred Heart shot 46% from the field including four of 19 from the three point line. The Valkyries connected on 11 of 15 free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 19 CAL turnovers. CAL shot 39.6% from the field including five of 13 from beyond the arc. The Lady Centurions connected on five of seven free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 17 Sacred Heart turnovers.

Reagan Bender led Sacred Heart with 20 points, eight rebounds, and four assists. ZaKiyah Johnson added 17 points, four rebounds, seven assists, and four steals. Angelina Pelayo recorded 13 points, 11 rebounds, and two assists. Triniti Ralston added 12 points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, three assists, and three steals. Claire Russell recorded four points, 10 rebounds, and three assists.

Brianna Wilkins led CAL with 18 points including two three point baskets, nine rebounds, and two steals. Mariah Knight added 13 points, two rebounds, and two assists. Bailee Duck recorded eight points, two rebounds, and two steals.
