Paul Laurence Dunbar defeated Lafayette by the score of 16-14. Paul Laurence Dunbar recorded 23 first downs and 329 yards of total offense. The Bulldogs were penalized 12 times for 125 yards and had one pass intercepted. Lafayette recorded 16 first downs and 274 yards of total offense. The Generals were penalized 13 times for 112 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

Noe Kayembe led Paul Laurence Dunbar’s ground game with 107 yards and a touchdown on 29 carries. Kyan Hall carried the ball twice for 11 yards and a touchdown. Ethan Teall completed 18 of 28 passes for 228 yards with one interception. Harrison Simpson caught five passes for 52 yards. Trae Berry added four receptions for 48 yards. Connor Norsworthy recorded four catches for 46 yards. Mason VanDyke and Kotaro Nagano each recorded two receptions for 39 yards each. Harrison Simpson and Connor Norsworthy each returned a kickoff for 20 and 17 yards respectively. Colton Turlington led the defense with nine solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a one yard loss. Kyan Hall added six solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a one yard loss. Kotaro Nagano recorded four solo and one assisted tackles. Grayson Rogers added two solo tackles with his tackles resulting in losses totaling 16 yards. Amontae intercepted a pass and Logan Pittmon recovered a fumble.

KJ Jones led Lafayette’s ground game with 51 yards on 11 carries. Aj Nichols carried the ball three times for seven yards and a touchdown. DJ Walker completed 16 of 40 passes for 233 yards and a touchdown with one interception. Kevin Amuri caught eight passes for 152 yards and a touchdown. Nasir Andrews added three receptions for 12 yards. C, Giannone caught two passes for 28 yards. Mekhi Taylor added one reception for 23 yards. Casey Hurr punted three times for a 46.3 average, a long punt of 59 yards with two kicks inside the 20 yard line. Terraze taylor returned two kickoffs for 60 yards with a long return of 36 yards. Bryston Bliss led the defense with 11 solo and one assisted tackles. Felix Brady added nine solo and three assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling eight yards. AJ Nichols recorded eight solo tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a four yard loss. Cael Green chipped in with six solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a five yard loss.DJ Jones added three solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 13 yards. Nasir Andrews intercepted a pass.

Bryan Station rebounded from a loss to Frederick Douglass last week with a running clock 49-3 victory over Madison Central. Bryan Station recorded 15 first downs and 459 yards of total offense. The Defenders were penalized six times for 35 yards and lost a fumble. Madison Central recorded eight first downs and 163 yards of total offense. The Indians were penalized four times for 25 yards and had two passes intercepted.

Kalen Washington led Bryan Station’s ground game with 205 yards and three touchdowns on 13 carries. Bayubahe Benit carried the ball five times for 54 yards and a touchdown. Taeandre Clark scored on a three yard run. Trenton Cutwright completed five of nine passes for 152 yard sna two touchdowns. Jaxson Branham completed his only pass for 34 yards. JT Haskins Jr, caught three passes for 61 yards and a touchdown. Kamani Barbour caught one pass for a 75 yard scoring reception. Jirdan Haskins and Dahvon Frazier each caught one pass for 34 and 16 yards respectively. Kamani Barbour returned one punt for eight yards and Demond Green returned one kickopff for 15 yards. Jason Hocker led the defense with four solo and four assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling eight yards. Jaylen Berry added three solo and three assisted tackles. Dahvon Frazier recorded one solo and five assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a one yard loss. Isaiah Watts chipped in with two solo and three assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a two yard loss. JT Haskins Jr. recorded two solo and three assisted tackles and intercepted a pass. Taeandre Clark intercepted a pass he returned 19 yards.

Jonah Haskins led Madison Central’s ground game with 122 yards on 26 carries. Bryant Mathis carried the ball nine times for 22 yards. KJ Wells completed one of eight passes for 17 yards with two interceptions. Nathan Ogle caught one pass for 17 yards. Cody Morrison recorded two kickoffs for 31 yards with a long return of 17 yards. Leo Sotelo led the defense with one solo and four assisted tackles. Derek McElwee added two solo and two assisted tackles. Elijah Steele recorded one solo and three assisted tackles. Jackson Pritchard chipped in with three solo tackles. Josh Green recovered a fumble.

The “Brady Hensley Express” continues to roll as the senior running back ran for 255 yards including TD runs of 28, 28, 3, 58, and 55 yards in a 55-12 victory over Washington County on the road. Lexington Christian Academy recorded 20 first downs and 520 yards of total offense. The Eagles were penalized nine times for 91 yards. Washington County recorded nine first downs and 171 yards of total offense. They were penalized twice for 20 yards and had a pass intercepted.

Brady Hensley led the LCA ground game with 255 yards and five touchdowns on 14 carries. Leland Edwards carried the ball five times for 74 yards and a touchdown. Bennett Gudalis recorded 41 yards on three carries. BJ Evans chipped in with 21 yards on two carries. Cutter Boley completed 12 of 21 passes for 119 yards and two touchdowns. Parker Chaney caught five passes for 51 yards and two touchdowns. Saxton Howard caught four passes for 45 yards. Saxton Howard returned two kickoffs for 73 yards with a long return of 64 yards. Mac Darland led the defense with four solo and six assisted tackles. Hunter Adams added four solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a four yard loss. BJ Evans recorded three solo and two assisted tackles. Gyler Doan intercepted a pass.

Kymani Reardon led the Washington County ground game with 14 yards on six carries. JT Smith completed 14 of 28 passes for 111 yards and two touchdowns with one interception. Noah Reynolds completed two of three passes for 43 yards. Beau Baker caught six passes for 60 yards and a touchdown. Noah Reynolds added four receptions for 17 yards and a touchdown. Isaiah Mattingly recorded three receptions for 39 yards. Isaiah Mattingly returned eight kickoffs for 137 yards with a long return of 33 yards. JaKingston Thompson was credited with a 70 yard kickoff return on 0 carries. Lucas Carrico led the defense with five solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a one yard loss. Isaiah Mattingly recorded five solo tackles. Tristan Lydian added four solo tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a three yard loss. Noah Reynolds chipped in with three solo tackles.

Logan County eked out a 28-27 victory over Hopkinsville. Hopkinsville had a chance for the tie after Aiden King scored on a 40 yard run with under five minutes to go on the clock but the extra point attempt was no good and Logan County managed to hold on for the win. Logan County recorded 332 yards while Hopkinsville rolled up 282 yards of total offense.

Davin Yates led Logan County’s ground game with 181 yards and a touchdown on 25 carries. Derek White also scored a touchdown on the ground. Ridge Holman completed 12 of 20 passes for 122 yards and two touchdowns. Davin Yates completed three of seven passes for 14 yards with one interception. Davin Yates caught three passes for 89 yards and two touchdowns. Jack Delaney added four receptions for 29 yards. Derek White led the defense with nine solo and four assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses. Hunter Holloway added six solo and one assisted tackles. Kage Shoemake recorded five solo and two assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses. Davin Yates chipped in with five solo and one assisted tackles. Jack Delaney added five solo tackles. DeSean Payne intercepted a pass he returned 30 yards. Michael Hammonds also intercepted a pass.

Aiden King led Hopkinsville’s ground game with 81 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries. Treston Kay carried the ball twice for 46 yards. Tristin Dillard carried the ball six times for 39 yards. Aiden King completed 12 of 17 passes for 104 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions. Treston Kay caught five passes for 35 yards. James Bradley added two receptions for 33 yards and a touchdown. Darrius Green recorded three catches for 27 yards. DeOndre Coleman chipped in with two receptions for nine yards and a touchdown. DeOndre Coleman led the defense with six solo and two assisted tackles. Devin Coleman added five solo and two assisted tackles. Amoni Johnson recorded five solo and one assisted tackles. Treston Kay chipped in with five solo tackles.

Highlands continues to roll with a 58-7 victory over Conner as the Bluebirds scored the last 51 points of the game. Highlands recorded 403 yards while Conner had 208 yards of total offense.

Cameron Giesler led Highland’s ground game with 113 yards and a touchdown on seven carries. Tayden Lorenzen carried the ball once for 32 yards. Brody Benke scored two touchdowns on the ground. Brody Benke completed five of six passes for 109 yards and two touchdowns. Rio Litmer completed nine of 11 passes for 76 yards and two touchdowns. Cameron Giesler caught one pass for 56 yards and a touchdown. Carson Class added three receptions for 47 yards and a touchdown. Matteo Matteoli recorded three catches for 30 yards and a touchdown. Adam Surrey caught two passes for 26 yards and a touchdown and scored on a 75 yard punt return.

Cordion Abernathy led Conner’s ground game with 60 yards on 12 carries. Wyatt Hatfield carried the ball 11 times for 27 yards. Bowling Green executed the old hook-and-lateral pass to defeat South Warren in a 36-29 come-from-behind victory over South Warren. Deuce Bailey took the snap at the South Warren 40 threw a short pass to Trevy Barber who pitched the ball back to Montravion Graham who raced to the end zone to give Bowling Green a 34-29 lead and the Purples converted a two point play to make the score 36-29 with six seconds left in the game. South Warren had taken the lead 29-28 with approximately 30 seconds left on the clock on a nine yard pass from Bryce Button to Isaiah Rigsby and a two point conversion run by Button. Bowling Green recorded 387 yards with no turnovers and South Warren recorded 525 yards but lost two fumbles.

Montravion Graham led Bowling Green’s ground game with 48 yards and a touchdown on four carries. Javen Huddleston carried the ball twice for 20 yards. Deuce Bailey completed 21 of 29 yards for 356 yards and three touchdowns. Trevy Barber caught five passes for 100 yards and a touchdown. Montravion Graham added three receptions for 100 yards and a touchdown. Christopher Sweeney recorded seven receptions for 97 yard and a touchdown. Jayden Axson led the defense with three solo and 15 assisted tackles. Ethan Warder added three solo and 12 assisted tackles and recovered a fumble. Max Buchanon recorded 12 assisted tackles. Wick Dotson chipped in with two solo and nine assisted tackles. Grayson Newman scored on a 14 yard fumble recovery return.

Jimmy Sales led South Warren’s ground game with 149 yards on 22 carries. Bryce Button added 48 yards and a touchdown on eight carries. Jayce Cutrona recorded 37 yards on 10 carries. Bryce Button completed 22 of 37 passes for 289 yards and three touchdowns. Isaiah Rigsby caught six passes for 87 yards and a touchdown. Bailey Shoemaker added four receptions for 78 yards and a touchdown. DeShawn Bridges recorded three receptions for 54 yards and a touchdown. Colton Veltkamp chipped in with six receptions for 53 yards. DeShawn Bridges led the defense with four solo and two assisted tackles. Brady Enslow added one solo and four assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses. Isaiah Rigsby recorded three solo and one assisted tackles. Kairan Hanes also recorded three solo and one assisted tackles. Jimmy Sale and Drayson Moore each recorded two solo and two assisted tackles. South Warren was hampered by the loss of 2-way star Ethan Reynolds who left the game early with an injury.

Nathan Kitchens caught a 38 yard Hail-Mary pass from Brady Lee that was actually tipped to give Simon Kenton a 27-21 victory over Campbell County as time expired. Simon Kenton recorded 473 yards of total offense while Campbell County recorded 320 yards of total offense.

Durell Turner led Simon Kenton’s ground game with 205 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries. Brady Lee carried the ball eight times for 25 yards. Tysin Weaver recorded 14 yards and a touchdown on four carries. Brady Lee completed 22 of 28 passes for 229 yards and two touchdowns with one interception. Nathan Kitchens caught four passes for 73 yards and a touchdown. Grayson Harris added 10 receptions for 66 yards. Tysin Weaver recorded three receptions for 38 yards and a touchdown. Durell Turner chipped in with four receptions for 37 yards.

Nathan Smith led Campbell County’s ground game with 126 yards and two touchdowns on 10 carries. Garyn Jackson carried the ball five times for 48 yards. Carson Evers recorded 47 yards on nine carries. Nathan Smith completed 10 of 25 passes for 75 yards. Garyn Jackson caught four passes for 37 yards. Xavier Francher added one reception for 17 yards. Frederick Douglass defeated Bryan Station by the score of 34-14 highlighted by an electrifying 50 yard punt return by Frederick Douglass’ Derion Talbert who reversed fields and went from side line to side line to find the end zone on a highlight film play. Frederick Douglass recorded 15 first downs and 292 yards of total offense. The Broncos were penalized seven times for 80 yards. Bryan Station recorded 19 first downs and 297 yards of total offense. The Defenders were penalized seven times for 65 yards and lost two fumbles.

Derion Talbert led Frederick Douglass’ ground game with 126 yards and a touchdown on seven carries. Kenoxie Allen carried the ball six times for 23 yards. Jaxon Strautman recorded 18 yards and a touchdown on six carries. Jaxon Strautman completed seven of 14 passes for 117 yards and two touchdowns. Derion Talbert caught three passes for 34 yards. Avieon Chanault caught two passes for 43 yards and a touchdown. Terry Cayson added a 41 yard touchdown reception. Derion Talbert returned one punt for a 50 yard touchdown. Jeremiah Lowe returned two kickoffs for 57 yards with a long return of 45 yards. Darion Neal led the defense with five solo and four assisted tackles and recovered a fumble. Covington Catholic continues to roll with a 56-6 victory over Harrison County. Covington Catholic recorded 14 first downs and 393 yards of total offense. The Colonels were penalized four times for 45 yards. Harrison County recorded 19 first downs and 309 yards of total offense. The Thoroughbreds were penalized six times for 55 yards and had a pass intercepted.

Charlie Ink led the Covington Catholic ground game with 49 yards on one carry. Owen Leen carried the ball five times for 44 yards and two touchdowns. Eill Michels recorded 20 yards and a touchdown on three carries. Luke Rabe carried the ball twice for 21 yards and a touchdown. Evan Pitzer completed eight of eight passes for 228 yards and three touchdowns. Braylon Miller caught two passes for 88 yards. Oliver Link added 70 yards and a touchdown on two receptions. Noah Johnson caught two passes for 40 yards. Willie Rodriguez recorded two receptions for 30 yards and two touchdowns. Dylan Gaiser returned one punt for 45 yards and a touchdown. Cash Harney and Charlie Ink each returned one kickoff for 28 and 24 yards respectively. Tucker Evans led the defense with five solo and two assisted tackles. Brady Hensley led Lexington Christian Academy’s ground game with 139 yards and four touchdowns on seven carries. Cutter Boley completed eight of 13 passes for 144 yards and two touchdowns. Bryce Bentley completed one of two passes for 15 yards and one touchdown. Parker Chaney caught three passes for 43 yards. Nate Barnhardt added two receptions for 22 yards.
