Covington Catholic coach Scott Ruthsatz started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Brady Hussey, 6-0 Jr. Nolan Ruthsatz, 6-9 Sr. Caden Miller, 5-11 So. Cash Harney, and 5-11 So. Athens McGillis. Archbishop Hoban coach TK Griffith countered with 6-3 Sr. Jonas Nichols, 6-3 Sr. Joey Hardman, 6-8 So. Sam Greer, 5-10 Jr. Kenny Scott, and 6-2 Fr. John Johnson.

Covington Catholic earned a 67-64 hard fought victory over Archbishop Hoban. Hoban raced out to a 17-8 first quarter score but Covington Catholic rallied to close within two; 17-15 at the end of the quarter with the game being tied four times and two lead changes. Covington Catholic shot 57.8% from the field including six of nine from the three point line. The Colonels connected on nine of 14 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 17 Archbishop Hoban turnovers. Hoban shot 43.1% from the field including 10 of 29 from beyond the arc. The Knights connected on 10 of 13 free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 15 Covington Catholic turnovers.

Brady Hussey led Covington Catholic with 21 points including three three point baskets, three rebounds, three assists, and three steals. Caden Miller added 14 points, 10 rebounds, two assists, and two blocked shots. Nolan Ruthsatz recorded 12 points including two three point baskets and three rebounds. Athens McGillis chipped in with 12 points, two rebounds, and seven assists.

Jonas Nichols led Archbishop Hoban with 25 points including two three point baskets, seven of eight free throws, five rebounds, three assists, and two steals. John Johnson added 15 points on five three point baskets. Kenny Scott recorded eight points, five rebounds, and three assists. Sam Greer chipped in with eight points and four rebounds.

Covington Catholic coach Scott Ruthsatz countered with 6-2 Sr. Brady Hussey, 6-0 Jr. Nolan Ruthsatz, 6-9 Sr. Caden Miller, 5-10 So. Cash Harney, and 5-10 So. Athens McGillis.

La Lumiere raced out to a 24-7 first quarter lead on their way to a 74-60 victory over Covington Catholic. La Lumiere shot 53.6% from the field including seven of 12 from the three point line. The Lakers connected on seven of 11 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 13 Covington Catholic turnovers. Covington Catholic shot 46.3% from the field including seven of 17 from beyond the arc. The Colonels connected on three of seven free throws, pulled down 17 rebounds, and scored nine points off 20 La Lumiere turnovers.

Darius Adams led La Lumiere with 25 points including six three point baskets, seven rebounds, and two assists. Jerry Easter II added 16 points, four rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Melvin Bell Jr. recorded 12 points, six rebounds, and four assists. Ace Buckner chipped in with 11 points, two rebounds, and three assists. Steve Solano recorded nine points and 11 rebounds.

Elizabethtown coach Amber Courtney countered with 5-7 8^th Grade Maliah Courtney, 5-7 Jr. Harper Gregory, 5-9 So. Miyah Courtney, 5-3 Jr. Maebrie Cochran, and 5-5 Sr. Brooklyn Brown.

Elizabethtown trailed 32-28 at halftime but outscored Great Crossing 23-9 in the third quarter on their way to a 63-53 victory. There were five lead changes and four ties in this game. Elizabethtown shot 31.9% from the field including eight of 25 from the three point line. The Lady Panthers connected on 11 of 15 free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored eight points off 15 Great Crossing turnovers. Scott County defeated Walton-Verona by the score of 68-58. There were five lead changes and six ties in this game. The Lady Cardinals connected on eight of 14 free throws, pulled down 48 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 25 Walton-Verona turnovers. Madison Central trailed by 12 points early in the fourth quarter but closed the deficit to one point late before Montgomery County pulled away for a 50-45 victory. There were five ties abd seven lead changes in the game. Montgomery County shot 45.2% from the field including four of 16 from the three point line. The Lady Indians connected on eight of 15 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 17 Madison Central turnovers. Madison Central shot 34% from the field including seven of 22 from beyond the arc. The Lady Indians connected on six of 12 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 14 Montgomery County turnovers.

Hayden Barrier led Montgomery County with 26 points including three three point baskets, three rebounds, two assists, and three steals. 5-11 Fr. Baylee Warner added seven points.
