Mater Dei outscored Sacred Heart Academy 21-9 in the third quarter on their way to a 69-56 victory. The score was tied seven times and there were five lead changes in the game. Mater Dei shot 50% from the field including six of 16 from the three point line. The Monarchs connected on seven of 10 free throws, pulled down 43 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 15 Sacred Heart Academy turnovers. Miami Country Day led Sacred Heart Academy 35-16 at halftime on their way to a 54-43 victory. Miami Country Day shot 46.3% from the field including six of 14 from the three point line. The Spartans connected on 10 of 14 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 21 Sacred Heart Academy turnovers. Sacred Heart Academy shot 26.5% from the field including three of 12 from beyond the arc. The Valkyries connected on 14 of 20 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 19 Miami Country Day turnovers.

Sacred Heart Academy raced out to an 11-0 lead but Xavier College Prep fought back and captured a hard fought 58-55 victory over the Valkyries. There were nine lead changes and seven ties in this game. Xavier College Prep shot 32.1% from the field including six of 20 from the three point line. The Gators connected on 18 of 29 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 18 Sacred Heart Academy turnovers. Sacred Heart Academy shot 41.2% from the field including three of 10 from beyond the arc. The Valkyries connected on 10 of 14 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 18 Xavier College Prep turnovers.

Sarah Miller led Xavier College Prep with 29 points including five three point baskets, six of 11 free throws, and seven rebounds. Irene (Noelle) Guiamatsia added 11 points, nine rebounds, and two blocked shots. Dominique Nesland recorded five points, six rebounds, two assists, and two blocked shots. Maureen Ulrich chipped in with five points, five rebounds, two assists, and three steals.

Archbishop McNicholas defeated Covington Catholic by the score of 61-58. There were two lead changes and three ties in this game. Archbishop McNicholas shot 42.2% from the field including nine of 21 from the three point line. The Rockets connected on 14 of 16 free throws, pulled doiwn 27 rebounds, and scored six points off 11 Covington Catholic turnovers. McNicholas held a 27-9 advantage in three point points. Covington Catholic shot 45.7% from the field including three of 10 from beyond the arc. The Colonels connected on 13 of 22 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 14 Archbishop McNicholas turnovers.

Covington Catholic earned a 67-64 hard fought victory over Archbishop Hoban. Hoban raced out to a 17-8 first quarter score but Covington Catholic rallied to close within two; 17-15 at the end of the quarter with the game being tied four times and two lead changes. Covington Catholic shot 57.8% from the field including six of nine from the three point line. The Colonels connected on nine of 14 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 17 Archbishop Hoban turnovers. Hoban shot 43.1% from the field including 10 of 29 from beyond the arc. The Knights connected on 10 of 13 free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 15 Covington Catholic turnovers.

Brady Hussey led Covington Catholic with 21 points including three three point baskets, three rebounds, three assists, and three steals. The Lady Indians connected on 10 of 17 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 18 Nicholas County turnovers. Nicholas County shot 41% from the field including three of nine from beyond the arc. The Lady Jackets connected on 10 of 14 from the free throw line, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 14 Madison Central turnovers.

Cameryn Ridderikhoff led Madison Central with 16 points including three three point baskets, two rebounds, and three assists. Nataya Strader added 13 points, seven rebounds, and five assists. Brittany Campbell recorded nine points, two rebounds, six assists, and three steals. Brooke Campbell chipped in with six points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Eden Carter added six points, three rebounds, and two steals. 5-6 Jr. Tiana Long recorded seven points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, and three steals.

Maggie Simons led Nicholas County with 15 points including eight of 10 free throws, seven rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Tessa Humphries added 11 points, five rebounds, and three steals. Sydney Carpenter recorded seven points, three rebounds, and five assists.
