Great Crossing outscored Chaminade 23-8 in the second quarter on their way to a 72-46 victory. There were five lead changes and two ties in this game. Great Crossing shot 49.2% from the field including 11 of 15 from the three point line. The Warhawks connected on three of four free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 15 Chaminade turnovers. Chaminade shot 37.7% from the field including four of 14 from beyond the arc. The Red Devils connected on two of two free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored seven points off eight Great Crossing turnovers.

Vince Dawson II led Great Crossing with 27 points including five three point baskets, three rebounds, and three assists. Junius Burrell added 11 points, two rebounds, six assists, and two steals. Sacred Heart Academy raced out to a 23-2 first quarter lead on their way to a 61-47 victory over Clarksville Christian. Sacred Heart Academy shot 49.1% from the field including four of eight from the three point line. The Valkyries connected on five of seven free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 12 Clarksville Christian turnovers. Clarksville Christian shot 34.8% from the field including four of 12 from beyond the arc. The Centurions connected on 11 of 16 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 14 Sacred Heart Academy turnovers.

ZaKiyah Johnson led Sacred Heart Academy with 17 points, eight rebounds, four assists, and four steals. Angelina Pelayo added 12 points and six rebounds. Amirah Jordan recorded 11 points, two rebounds, and four assists. Reagan Bender chipped in with nine points on three three point baskets, two rebounds, and two assists. Claire Russell added five points, four rebounds, and four assists.

Southwestern captured a hard fought 55-52 victory over Madison Central in a game that featured four ties and 11 lead changes. Southwestern shot 51.4% from the field including six of 15 from the three point line. The Lady Warriors connected on 13 of 16 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored seven points off eight Madison Central turnovers. Madison Central shot 44.7% from the field including seven of 20 from beyond the arc. The Lady Indians connected on three of five free throws, pulled down 18 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 15 Southwestern turnovers.

Payton Acey led Southwestern with 23 points including nine of 12 field goals, five of five free throws, three rebounds, and two assists. Kinsley Molden led 10 points including three three point baskets, and six rebounds. Jordyn McDonald recorded seven points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, two assists, and two blocked shots. Jaelyn Dye chipped in with five points, three rebounds, and six assists. Belle Combs scored a layup off an assist by Abbey Popham with 25 seconds to give Lafayette a 57-56 victory over Bryan Station. Bryan Station had an opportunity in the final second but the shots failed to connect. There were 12 lead changes and seven ties in this game. Lafayette shot 41.8% from the field including nine of 20 from the three point line. The Lady Generals connected on two of three free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 17 Bryan Station turnovers. Bryan Station shot 45.8% from the field including five of 10 from beyond the arc. The Lady Defenders connected on seven of 15 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 17 Lafayette turnovers.

Lexington Catholic defeated Owen County by the score of 78-48. Lexington Catholic shot 52.8% from the field including eight of 20 from the three point line. The Knights connected on 14 of 21 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 16 Owen County turnovers. Owen County shot 32.6% from the field including four of 12 from beyond the arc. The Rebels connected on 16 of 20 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored seven points off nine Lexington Catholic turnovers.

6-4 Sr. Owen Kennedy led Lexington Catholic with 21 points including three three point baskets, and two blocked shots. (5-7 Jr. Savannah Triplett suffered a season ending ACL injury). Sacred Heart Academy countered with 6-0 Jr. ZaKiyah Johnson, 5-8 Sr. Claire Russell, 6-3 Sr. Angelina Pelayo, 5-3 Fr. Amirah Jordan, and 5-10 sr. Reagan Bender.

Sacred Heart Academy returning home after four consecutive losses in Arizona to some of the elite teams in the nation “bounced back” with an 81-52 victory over a very good Meade County team. Sacred Heart shot 44.6% from the field including seven of 17 from the three point line. The Valkyries connected on 16 of 20 free throws, pulled down 52 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 14 Meade County turnovers. Meade County shot 33.3% from the field including five of 17 from beyond the arc. The Lady Waves connected on 11 of 16 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored five points off 12 Sacred Heart turnovers.

ZaKiyah Johnson led Sacred Heart with 28 points including two three point baskets, six of six free throws, 12 rebounds, four assists, and two steals. Reagan Bender added 18 points including two three point baskets, four of four free throws, three rebounds, and three assists. Angelina Pelayo recorded eight points, and four rebounds. 5-9 Sr. Emi-Lee Howe chipped in with eight points, five rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Claire Russell added three points, nine rebounds, and two assists.

Lexington Catholic coach Brandon Salsman countered with 6-5 Sr. Tyler Doyle, 6-4 Sr. Rowan Williams, 6-7 Sr. Miller Williams, 6-0 Sr. Sam Smith, and 6-0 Sr. John Reinhart.

Lexington Catholic raced out to a 30-7 first quarter lead and was never threatened in a 96-37 victory over Boyle County. Lexington Catholic shot 58.7% from the field including 13 of 23 from the three point line and dished out 28 assists. The Knights connected on nine of 13 free throws, pulled down 46 rebounds, and scored 15 points off nine Boyle County turnovers. Boyle County shot 27.6% from the field including two of 15 from beyond the arc. The Rebels connected on three of six free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored four points off five Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Rowan Williams led Lexington Catholic with 17 points, 10 rebounds, two assists, and three steals. Tyler Doyle added 14 points, five rebounds, and eight assists. John Reinhart recorded 11 points including three three point baskets and three rebounds. Sam Smith chipped in with nine points on three three point baskets, three rebounds, and three assists. 6-0 Sr. Gist Heinrich also scored nine points including two three point baskets. Miller Williams added eight points, four rebounds, three assists, and three steals. 6-6 Max Meagher chipped in with eight points and three rebounds. 6-4 Sr. Owen Kennedy added six points, four rebounds, and two assists.

Guy Turner led Boyle County with 15 points and five rebounds. Demauriah Brown added seven points and three rebounds.
